The location was beautiful. The water was crystal clear and the island had amazing views and landscapes. It felt like being in the maldives. The spa facility was exceptional and their masseuse Aye was splendid. The staff was very helpful and the resort kept up with its luxury status with small gestures and tokens every night. The property was very lavish and the rooms were spacious.

The main beach had visitors , like outsiders coming in from ferries and boats blocking the view so we couldnt have privacy at the beach.

This is our second visit to the island. The hotel is beautiful in all respects. The cleanliness, attention, reception, and the staff are very kind and polite. It was a very enjoyable stay at paradise .. And I will visit the place for the third time for sure . but be sure to book from Delivery from the hotel itself, as I booked from a travel agency, and they would charge us more 600 baht for the bags, and on the return we had to continue with the trip for 3 hours, and they refused to return us without . And when we arrived at the port, they said that there was no place on the bus for bags and the 1st bus left the port .. Their treatment was very bad .. the agency called ( the raya princess ) ,, dont book any trip from them

I was very disturbed by the visit of tourist trips to the place and the inconvenience they cause, since I visited the place years ago and the overcrowding was not like this .. We came to the hotel asking for privacy and quiet. I hope you will reconsider this issue

The beach is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. The sand is like powder and white, the sea clear blue, beautiful temperature and perfect for swimming as calm

the excursions are extortionate! if you want to visit phi phi islands / Jane’s bond island etc it is better to do from Phuket if you are staying there before or after as you will save several hundreds of pounds ..literally! Also there are not many dining options either on site or surrounding the resort. one of the advertised resort restaurants was only open for lunch which meant there was only 2 options…and the upstairs Italian one doesn’t really count I think as it’s more of a pool snack place where it’s entire menu is at the Earth Cafe anyway…so realistically there is only one option!

Transport to the island was very well organised. The small island is about 30 mins by speedboat. The staff and service were exceptional tgrougoutour our stay. The room we had was spacious and beautifully designed with aircon available as needed. The facilities ànd food were amazing and the lsland itself was stunning. The beach is clean witb fine white sand and turquoise water.with big waves and a stunning, sunset view. The resort is helping to restore coral reefs and we has a great snorkeling experience which was through an organised trip on the other side of the island.

The food prices are high and service and tax are all added to the prices. Other than that, it was a perfect.

Amazingly clean beach for Thailand. Friendly and helpful staff. Peace and solitude. In villa BBQ was a great experience. Large, clean private pool. Arrival lounge was comfortable. Breakfast had great choices. Lovely room service attendants. Modern application for information and ordering. Environmentally friendly / sustainable methodologies.

Shower in main bathroom could be better quality. Generally the decor was reasonably dated - meaning the fit out was luxurious 10+ years ago. Activities are significantly overpriced compared with commercial options in Phuket.

We got upgraded to a pool villa and it was stunning! We even have a separate living room! The kid never get out of the pool and he just want to stay there forever. My 5 year old boy even cried when he finds out that we were leaving the next day. The beach is just outside the front door so it can’t be easier to surf at the sea. The wave was fierce though, and we lost two pairs of sun glasses + a snorkel in the wave. It was fun surfing though. We dropped our plan of snorkeling and stayed in the villa most of the time during our two days but it was totally worth it. Will definitely come back again.

Khun Oh and Khun Ball at the Padi dive center are absolutely great! Fantastic with our teenagers, funny, great service and always willing to go the extra mile (night dives with boat at the wrecks). They took great photos, too. Go diving with them if you can!

The GM should instruct the staff to collect plastic waste from the beach at least once better twice a day. They sell Maldives feeling but the beach is full of plastic waste.

From The moment we reached chalong Lounge on Phuket Mianland, the experience felt seamless and indulgent. The staff greeted us well. The Torquoise water and white sand beach that greeted us were even more beautiful than the photos. our pool villa was spacious, spotlessly clean. Dining was exceptional with authentic Thai flavours. Spa experience was amazing. overall, The Racha Exceeded every expectation, Its a dreamy destination for couples and Family.

The hotel location is gorgeous, not only the beach but the nature seeing butterflies first thing in the morning everywhere around you, birds sound and gorgeous rare trees & palm trees. the villa layout and having option to stay with your kids in the same villa was a plus for us, speed of service was excellent. the flexibility of the staff and their understanding was something we really admired showed great customer service as we booked for a week but we needed to checkout a day earlier as we booked an excursion and we weren't aware of the distance and they found a way to fulfil that! smoothly and without a need from us to further explain. Just be aware if you are arriving Phuket in the evening you need to book a hotel in the mainland to stay for that evening then the next day you can take the ferry to The Racha as no boats operating to the hotel after 4:00 pm :)

We would really appreciate if they pay extra more attention on the cleaning process as we understand the villas are in the middle of the nature you would expect ants and some insects inside the room but i think with proper cleaning we would eliminate some of that especially the gorgeous terrace of the villa would be great to clean it better. And maybe to offer some games for guests to enjoy in the evenings or while its rainy. We loved the idea of having different restaurants but also would be great to upgrade the quality of food especially for breakfast.

This resort is absolutely amazing with the clearest water I have seen in Thailand. The facilities are beautiful and the rooms well equipped. The staff are incredible and very willing to assist. The resort provides free ice and drinking water on the beach. Breakfast provided a great selection with good quality of food. Adults only pool and a separate kids pool. Beautiful spa and gym. The restaurants served great food at a reasonable price. The restaurant made my wife`s birthday very special. The resort lights up beautifully at night.

The breakfast area is a bit small when there are a lot of guests.
