I absolutely love it this hotel I wasn’t there maybe 3 years and how a lovely see people lady on the reception Mrs Alena she recognised me immediately a greeted me warmly and Mrs Romana - she is always a little angel on the breakfast morning.Also all staff briliant. Thank you very much it was pleasure see you all.

Everything about our stay at the Hotel Waldstein was exceptional, from the moment we arrived and were given a free glass of prosecco while we waited a couple of minutes to check-in. The room was marvelous, on a secluded courtyard, tastefully decorated and well-equipped - and amazingly for the centre of Prague, incredibly quiet. Breakfast was quite simply superb, in a lovely medieval cellar, with a lovely waitress on hand to ply us with prosecco (again), which since it happened to be on Valentine's Day, we did not refuse. All the staff were pleasant and eager to help. Oh, and it was incredible value for money.

It's hard to improve on perfection.

The room was very clean and there was an everyday cleaning service. Excellent breakfast. A big variety of goods very well prepared and served. Friendly staff (ok not all, 9 out of 10).

Small detail. I had two TV screens in my room, however they didn't have WiFi option. I would like to be able to cast my device for photo/video viewing.

There is so much to love about this hotel, we fell in love with it the moment we stepped inside. Although the building has been beautifully renovated, it has retained its charming original features, creating a warm and characterful atmosphere. Breakfast is served in what was once the cellar, adding a unique and cosy touch to the experience. The family room we booked was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with two separate bedrooms. The rooms were impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. We appreciated the small touches such as tea and coffee facilities, slippers, and other amenities that made our stay feel special. The staff were exceptional, incredibly friendly, helpful, and always going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. The location is unbeatable. Most attractions are within walking distance, but if you prefer not to walk, there’s a tram nearby that makes getting around effortless. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with something slightly different each day to keep it interesting. We loved both the hotel and Prague so much that my husband and I have already decided we will return — and we will definitely be staying here again.

I chose this hotel last minute as my initial hotel choice didn't offer breakfast and sounded more like an air B&B. Waldstein is a lovely hotel in and old building with lots of character. The room was superb and spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast superb and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located for Charles Bridge and the surrounding area, a short walk from Malastranka Metro and tucked away in a quiet square I When I next visit Prague I will definitely stay here again

The location just being over the bridge meant it was quiet but only a 15 min work from the main square in the old town. The hotel is newly refurbished with room 2 having an excellent bathroom, comfy beds, great amenities and the Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and all the way up to 10:30. .

We sadly had a hot water issue in the room on the first night, which was too late to rectify, the staff however were great, and when rectified couldnt apolise more. It didnt let the rest of the 3 night stay down. Other than an issue with a boiler that was out of their control at the time, there were no issues.

We had a charming check-in experience, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They provided ice for our water bottles upon request, which was appreciated. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed on the top floor, which meant quite a few steps—something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern. A staff member kindly took our luggage up the stairs. The breakfast room was nice and offered a good variety, which made for a pleasant start to the day.

Our group had three rooms, and all the rooms were clean. One room appeared to have traces that could have been from bed bugs, although it may have been something else. I didn’t have any bites or find live bugs, but I took photos and shared them with the front desk, who noted the room number and were responsive.

The location of the hotel is simply amazing - in the middle of Mala Strana, at the foot of the castle hill, and adjacent to the Czech Senate building. Despite the central location, the vicinity of the hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep for the whole duration of our stay, which included the weekend. Convenient street parking right by the hotel may be booked for a reasonable price. The historic building is quaint (but beware, as advertised there is no elevator, and upper stories are reached by steep, narrow stairs, which did not bother us, but would probably be a problem for larger people) and well maintained. The room was very clean and clearly some effort went into its design. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom was large. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

Our room was slightly weird - I seem to remember I had booked a double room but we got one with two bedrooms and two double beds. It was large, sure, but we could only really use half of it. I would have preferred soap without the cheap irritant Sodium Laureth Sulfate - I ended up using the soap I brought with me.

It was a very quaint hotel located super close to the square of Malostranské náměstí. The room is quite big and clean! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and were very sweet to us so that’s a plus point. The breakfast was also extensive and can fill you up. The only down side would be the poor insulation. We can hear people’s steps from the floor above us and the sound of water flowing through faucets or if somebody’s in the shower. If the people you checked in with are considerate, they will really try their best to make little to no sound. Overall, an 8/10.

We loved the position of this hotel, being in the shadow of the castle, and across Charles Bridge, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was spotlessly clean and has had a modern refurbishment. We had to check in & out at the nearby Three Storks Hotel, but this wasn't a problem because we had to walk past that hotel to get to the Waldstein around the corner. The staff were very helpful and friendly, giving us good advice when asked. This is the second time we have stayed here, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
