If you want to explore the old town of Istanbul, the location of this hotel is excellent. You can access most of the tourist spots by jumping on the T1 tram. Different kinds of street food is about 50m away. A small supermarket is around the corner. Also worth mentioning is the money exchange shop right next door. Good price there and super convenient.

There is one room with a window towards the back side of the building. There the air ventilation pipes are attached to the wall, and creates low frequency noise that is unbearable. You can not sleep in that room and want to avoid it like a plague. We have to switch to another room with additional cost. The hotel staff knows the problem and this room should not be even sold at the first place. So make sure you avoid it when checking in.

Great hotel in a great place, close to the tram, grand bazaar, shops and restaurants. Very clean, refurbished and with a nice breakfast. The staff was very kind, friendly and gave us lots of information. They organised our transport from and to the airport with additional cost. Shinan at the reception was amazing, took an extra mile to make us feel welcomed. The bell boy and the front office manager, apologies I forgot their names, were great too. Thank you. We will definitely visit this lovely place and city again!

Easily the best hotel you'll find in the whole of Istanbul at this price. The best part of the hotel is the staff. I was extremely fortunate to meet and get help from Mr Serhat and Mr Omer. we got help with our metrocard issues, we got a great room, we got late check out among a lot of other things. I think after I met the staff I understood why he hotel is the best rated. besides the staff, the location Is absolutely great, among good restaurants, tram & metro stations, tourist spots etc and everything else you could ask for. would definitely recommend! P.S. Extra appreciation for Mr Serhat. Who felt like a family member and was genuinely concerned about our well being throughout. God bless you.

I spent one week in this hotel with my mom and we booked a standard room. The room was clean, you did not here the noise from the street, the AC was very quiet and the bathroom spacious enough. The cleaning staff, as well as the breakfast and reception teams were all very nice and helpful! The international breakfast was good, although there was some repetition in the dishes. However, there was a nice variety, including fresh fruits, yogurts, different types of bread, pastries and cheese and hot dishes. The hotel is perfectly located in the old part of Istanbul, with two Tram 1 stops at less than a 5-minute walk away. Otherwise, you can reach the Grand Bazaar in about 10 minutes on foot, and at the Blue Mosque/ Hagia Sophia in approximately 25 minutes. There are also two supermarkets within a lass than 12-minutes walk (Migros Jet and SHOW). Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Istanbul!

We were welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had booked an economy room but were upgraded to a top floor room with balcony, where we could view the beautiful sunset. The room was well-equipped, with very comfortable bed, modern shower and toilet, fridge, coffee making and safe box. The staff were super helpful, e.g. heating food we had brought in. The location was perfect to explore the old town, with the main tourist sites within a 20 minute walk, yet quiet even on the balcony. Thoroughly recommended as a base to explore the city.

I had the pleasure of staying at Edition Old City Hotel in Istanbul, and I can confidently say it was an excellent choice. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the main attractions, yet in a peaceful and convenient area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the entire property was well-kept and welcoming. What truly made my stay special was the exceptional staff – always friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. I would especially like to mention OMER K. and NURETTIN from the front office, who both went above and beyond to make me feel warmly welcomed and well cared for. Their professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression. Another big plus was the delicious food – breakfasts were rich, varied, and the perfect way to start the day. To sum up, Edition Old City Hotel is a place I would gladly return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, great location, and genuine hospitality in the heart of Istanbul. This hotel is located in the city center, right next to the Beyazit Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Nearby is the Migros Jet shopping center, many bars, restaurants, many shops around, currency exchange offices. Good transportation by metro, buses. Walkable distance to the most of the Istambul city sights. By the registration you get small welcoming gift and a pleasant letter from hotel manager. The hotel has five floors, two elevators, a small Starbucks is located next to the reception, a spa center is in the basement, which offers paid services, massages. The best rooms are on the fifth floor, where there are balconies, from there you can see a great view of the city. Room cleaning every day, there is free safe box in the room, a small fridge, air conditioner, cable TV, offers a shuttle service to and from the airport.

The room is quite small, and the soundproofing could be better, very early in the morning you can hear the prayers from the nearby mosque loudly. Although the hotel has two elevators, we had to wait quite a long in the morning. The breakfast was disappointing, you can basically eat, but the choice is quite poor for a four-star hotel. We never understood whether it was possible to use at least some of the services of the spa center located below for free (eg. sauna, steam room etc.), because as soon as you go down to the -2 floor there is a reception desk, where the girls primarily offer paid services.

It was really great!! We got a free upgrade from Huseyn to a room with a balcony, we used it every day it was very nice. Whenever we had a question about something the staff immediately helped us. Room was very clean, breakfast was wonderful and varied every day, the spa as well was very lovely. Location is good too, only a 15min walk away from Hagia Sophia. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beds could be softer, but honestly that's nick picking. Everything about this hotel is great.

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Istanbul, just a 5-minute walk from the Grand Bazaar. With a T1 tram station right in front, guests have easy access to Istanbul's top attractions. The hotel offers a generous breakfast buffet, and there’s a cozy coffee shop on the ground floor serving Starbucks coffee. A perfect spot for exploring the city!

The hotel is located in a restricted area where only vehicles with special permission can enter. Upon arrival, we had to walk for a bit with our suitcases to reach the hotel, as our Uber taxi from the airport couldn’t access the area. However, there are Uber taxis with the necessary permission; when we needed to return to the airport, we ordered one through the app, and it arrived right at the hotel doors.

Me and my work mates recently stayed at a hotel in Istanbul and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and tidy, which made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including delightful Turkish flavors that truly enhanced our experience. What stood out most was the exceptional service from the front office manager, Ereon. He was incredibly helpful, organizing taxis for us and assisting with any questions we had. His friendliness and dedication made our stay even more enjoyable. Ereon is an asset to the hotel and truly deserves recognition for his outstanding service. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul!
