Didnt know soft drinks only free in club area so got a surprise checking out having to pay for those by the pool etc. Alot of building work going on which just reduces size of garden and pool area. Smaller than when we stayed last year. Certainly lessens the view

The Habtoor Grand Resort was superb, rooms incredibly clean and comfortable, food was of a high standard, the pool was a little busy but the beach was incredible as were the gardens. the staff were incredible with a massive shout out for Natalia on reception who was so helpful and friendly, she went out of her way to make the room even more special for my wife's birthday, which was amazing, Vanessa on customer services desk who arranged for flowers for my wife and could not do enough for us during our stay. Sunita, our room maid was just incredible, our room was spotless and she seemed to know when we left the room as when we got back it had been made up and the little touches like the "towel figures" on our bed each day made us smile so much, she was so friendly and we think she is amazing.. Joseph who looked after us on the beach was also incredible, he would see us coming down the path to the beach and immediately find us two beds, exactly where we liked to be, so by the time we got tho the beach our sunbeds were waiting for us with towels laid out already, amazing service and a lovely man. all in all we had an amazing time and will certainly return in the future.

Not really the hotels fault but the daily "battle for the loudest music" between Zero Gravity beach club and Andrea's beach club was just too much at times, we wanted a relaxing beach holiday and at times, worst Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the unbearable levels of volume spoilt this for us and we had to move away from the beach, which was one of the main reasons for us booking the Habtoor, a real shame... other than that there was nothing that we didn't like or enjoy at the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and big and its location is good, there is a supermarket next to it that is open 24 hours and many shops and international restaurants, the swimming pool is big and clean and there is a fun slide for adults and children, the staff are friendly and smiling and serve the guests in all the hotel facilities, the breakfast was varied and delicious and the breakfast time was excellent, the rooms are big and clean and the bed is comfortable, I chose a room with a sea view and a balcony and the stay was enjoyable and relaxing, the sea is beautiful and there is a golf car to take you to the sea, the restaurant on the swimming pool has delicious and varied food, thank you Habtoor Grand Hotel and I will repeat the stay in the future

Spent a week here with my 2 sons at the start or April which coincided with Ramadan and Eid. Whilst the hotel is perhaps not as modern as some of the others it is more than adequate and in a great location to explore JBR, Marina and to get to all the Malls etc. We stayed in a Tower Room which was a good size – we had two twin and an extra bed and was more than enough room. You get complimentary bottles of water daily for all occupants. Stayed Half Board and enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the evening Ramadan Buffett – both of which had plenty of options. We also ate at the underground pub and Pool and both were decent. I used the gym daily and whilst some of the equipment is a bit tired you can certainly get a good workout in. There is building work going on at the hotel but it didn’t really impact us at all. The service is what really makes this hotel and one person stood out – Aayush around the pool was exceptional and nothing was too much for him. He was very diligent and would always be looking at enhancing your stay. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again.

I had to ask 3 times on my first day for the additional bed to be placed in my room

Excellent facilities exceptionally clean staff are amazing. The only downside is that the balconies are small and have nowhere to sit. And me being a solo traveller likes to sit and read. Although there are fabulous gardens. But apart from that, i could not falt the hotel.

A man working for the hotel named Mike (Miguel) Torres approached us as well as other guests and offered us to visit another Habtoor hotel and offered us free tour as a sign of appreciation but over there they tried to convince us to buy a strange package for 28 years for more than 20,000 USD! something called “luxury lifestyle vacation club” run by bunch of Dominican guys, looked like a scam and was waste of time. It was quite unprofessional to try to spam the guests like this and I am quite disappointed to the hotel management because of this.

The pool and beach were fantastic, and the room was decent but came with a costly upgrade. Everything was clean, and there was a consistently pleasant fragrance throughout the hotel.

The breakfast area was overcrowded and packed with people, making it an unpleasant experience. We tried to switch from the buffet to an à la carte breakfast in our room, but the hotel refused to accommodate our request. Additionally, the minibar had outrageous prices for items we assumed were complimentary, resulting in unexpected charges of several hundred. It was particularly surprising to be charged for Al Habtoor-branded candies, which seemed unreasonable.
