Great position and location to many of our needs! A clean fresh and good sized rooms. Gym had machines was available but s/c work limited. Breakfast plentiful and varied with kid- friendly or healthy options (including seeds, nuts to traditional waffles) and an area with lots of room to sit and eat. There was a small evening drinking area to sit and a bar to purchase drinks but we were out in evening so didn't partake. Overall, it did what we needed so great!

So... issues- 1.lots of movie channels but no espn, surprising as olympics, US tennis were all taking place at the time. (Didn't affect us too much as visiting detroit) but a big sports fan might grumble! 2. Be aware a super bright spotlight comes on to illuminate the rear car park! Great for security, the black out curtains worked fine but the brightness was so good we had to place towels around the edges to sleep!

I really enjot the breakfast. The room was clean and smell fresh. The bed was very comfortable. I really liked that a shuttle bus came to the hotel That is a big plus for me to choose this hotel. I do bot have to worry about trying to find parking and having to walk a long distance to my location.

The ironing board broke into two pieces and almost burn my blouse and my foot. The front desk state that they would price match the local hotels in the area and that did not happen.

We were particularly impressed with the fact that we had no problems with the key card (as has happened at almost every other hotel we have stayed at, no matter how fancy). The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was standard - we did get to it late, so there may have been other options earlier. The free parking was a definite bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

Maybe more pastries at breakfast.

I booked before reading the reviews and the reviews made me want to pick a different hotel last-minute. I’m so glad I didn’t! The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival the hotel manager greeted me, gave me a guide map and let me know about the top things to do. That was needed. Miss Keisha was amazing, my son said his favorite part of our trip was the hug her got from her when we were leaving. I really have no complaints - I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. The bed was nice, pillows were super comfy. Nothing was dirty, the hotel didn’t smell like smoke. It actually smelled good, like a lingering perfume 24/7. There was a little liquor stop inside the lobby, I ordered a couple of drinks which was convenient after trying to find your way around downtown and not wanting to drive anymore (lol).. There was a nice variety of fresh breakfast items. The location was great! A few blocks drive from the riverfront, close to lots of food and things to do. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and my family did as well. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel or its staff.

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was great.

There was a family reunion there and these folks took over the hotel. The front sitting area, the dining area, the weight room, all of the 1st floor rooms, the bar area and the parking lot. It was a hot mess. Make things worst the elevator did not work, as a result; I was forced to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was not far from downtown Detroit. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

The only issue was that the elevator was out of order during our stay, so we had to take the stairs to the second floor with our luggage.

The hotel is very old but extremely clean. The beds were so comfortable. Also the best TV I have had in a hotel. The staff was incredible from front end, housekeepers and morning servers. So friendly and accommodating.

The hotel could use some refresh but everything else made up for that.the best

We came for the P!nk concert. Although the website stated that the shuttle doesn’t run during the week, we were pleasantly surprised that it did for this concert. It was a game changer as we driving and parking or taking an Uber would’ve been very stressful for us. Our driver Ken was very accommodating and wonderful! The hotel bar was an added bonus!!! Will definitely book this hotel again for events at Comerica park. Thank you!!

The hotel was a little dingy and run down. Definitely needs some updates

The staff was great, especially the guy at the reception who was kind and helpful. The breakfast was good enough.

The carpets need to be replaced ASAP, they smell and dirty. Also, the furniture is dated. The smell of oil paint seeped into our room from elevators. The ice maker on the third floor doesn’t work.

The hot breakfest was very good and perfect. Only wished there was an option for turkey meat because some people dont eat pork other than that Breakfest was Great. Location was excellent and close to all the places we attended. The Staff was Friendly and very patient. We were greeted with lots of friendly smiles. Its our 4th time staying at this location and will continue to book here when we are visiting the area.
