Hotel Review (solid 4/5) What we liked • Great value for money. We weren’t expecting a five-star experience at this price, but the hotel pleasantly surprised us: the room felt fresh and tidy, no bad smells or excess noise. • Clean and well-kept. Bedding and towels were spotless; everything looked cared for. • All the basics covered. For a quick family stay we had everything we needed: working A/C, mini-fridge, microwave, hair-dryer, iron, decent pillows, etc. We really just needed a place to sleep, and this setup was perfect. • Convenient location. Easy to reach all our planned activities around the city, with supermarkets and breakfast cafés close by. What to know • Tiny pool. For such a big hotel the pool downstairs is surprisingly small. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for us (we spent our days out and about), but water-lovers might be disappointed. • Old-school door lock. It works, but we had to fiddle with it the first evening. By day two we’d figured it out and had no further issues. Bottom line If you need a clean, budget-friendly room to crash in while you explore the city with kids all day, this place is spot-on. Price and quality match perfectly, and the minor downsides are easy to overlook thanks to the overall neatness and handy location. Recommended for short family trips and active travelers.

The beds were amazing they were so comfortable. I literally fell asleep right away, and there was no tossing and turning because of it being hard the pillows were really comfortable and the front desk was accommodating with extra blankets.

The first morning it was scrambled eggs with sausage and waffles, and there was 1015 people in line and they did not refill the waffle machine and the fridge was not stocked with yogurt and there wasn’t much bread out nor peanut butter and there was no jelly on my second day of staying there they did come out with extra waffle mix However, instead of sausage and eggs, it was American hashbrowns and eggs. I still feel that there should’ve been a meat option. The tables weren’t immediately cleaned in the garbage was kind of overflowing. I think there should’ve been longer swim hours for adults. I don’t think they should and breakfast at 9 AM when there’s 1015 people still in line.

Great location. Happy to be able to have a shuttle. Good breakfast. Clean facilities, clean room. Bathroom felt well maintained. The bed was also really comfy. Staff was very helpful. Was not able to hear neighboring rooms (maybe just lucky).

No handsoap was provided. In the room that we were in, the AC unit blew directly in my face and was pretty loud when it came on. (Which is really just me being knit picky).

Felt safe there. Located within about 15 minute drive of Target Field and Mall of America. Free attached surface lot parking with in and out privileges. Large breakfast area with free hot breakfast choices. Pool open early and late.

The hot tub in the pool area was not working and had been boarded up, indicating this was not a temporary issue. The driveway and parking lot had many potholes, some unavoidable.

Rooms were clean.

The staff (indian guy) was really rude. I came in at 2pm and they wouldn't let me check in. They said if I want to check in at 2pm I need to pay 50$, REALLY??? Who dose checkn in at 3pm??? It should always be 1pm, might as well do already 6pm check in. When I booked I added a note that i will arive between 1pm-2pm and it said they will do there best to get me in. Guess not I was waiting in the car for 1 hour.

Very friendly front desk staff, they clean everyday. The room is a nice size, and the tv updated I was all able to log into my nexflix for my son which is very good. Very safe and nice location. I got a great deal on the prices I stayed 6 days and it was great

Same breakfast every morning. Only had hashbrowns 1 out of 6 days I stayed. Never saw creamer and Splenda after day 1 of my stay and only 1 flavour of yogurt. Bread and cereal stay too long before use and not throw out, they were stale. Breakfast could a little be better.

Always clean, smells good or neutral, and quiet. The front desk staff is always happy helpful bright and knowledgeable, always enjoyed dealing with them.

Some brighter colors. Be it LED lights on pictures of flowers, small things can be done to be brighter. Sometimes I’ve run across people with their dogs staying at the hotel. I know people want to travel with their pets and they should but good lord it was close with pit bull and the other dogs passing each other at the elevator.

Excellent, the room was not very big but it had what was necessary for a good stay, the bed was very comfortable, very good. The cleanliness of the room was one of the things that worried me the most since I selected the place based on good recommendations and I was not wrong. I always had a replacement for personal hygiene items and towels. The included breakfast is good, it works to have something in the stomach. It could be improved by perhaps adding some eggs and potatoes. The attention at the reception was excellent when checking in.

Clean and comfortable with a nice hot breakfast. Daily housekeeping, staff was very friendly, too.

There were outlets for charging phones and tablets in the bedside lamp and one the desk, but most of them were so loose that the plug wouldn’t stay in. We had to take turns charging our devices or plug some into the outlets in the bathroom. Also, 2 out of 3 nights our room keys didn’t work and we had to go back down to the front desk to get new ones.

Loved my suite with a separate living room and two bathrooms!

Looks like they are in the process of building a hot tub. I can’t wait to go back and try it out. Also, the rooms have fake balconies, which was a tease. Either fix them to make them safe or put in a screen door that opens and allow the bigger door to open at least for fresh air.
