Everything was perfect... except for the bed. The bed was hard, and the frame made so much noise. I toss a lot, and even a slight movement would make so much noise. Parking is nearby and free but limited. If you arrive past 10 pm, you will most likely park on the street. The room was clean. The staff was super friendly and the location was great. The rooms are small but comfortable. It's a perfect spot if you just need a place to reset and spend the day exploring Portland.

The staff was outstanding and very friendly! Accommodating, helpful and made us feel at home. The room was terrific - lots of natural light, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Really nice - they offer water, juice, and oatmeal complimentary. Kitchen was clean, well-stocked with dishware, pots, etc., with full size fridge. Very comfy bed. The lobby mini snack bar with all day coffee / tea was a welcome treat. Have stayed at pricier Portland hotels prior, but NO MORE! Will always return here! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and joyful! We will definitely make this our Portland home base for all future visits!

The property parking is on a severe slope with very tight spaces - nothing they can do except possibly widen the spaces. They do offer safe parking across the street at the 'Inn' which is just fine. I'd suggest to unload at front door and then park across street. No other issues.

I loved the location of this hotel. It was centrally located to literally everything needed. Such a short distance to Washington Park, you could literally walk there. Also, there were plenty of quick food places within walking distance too, which made it an even more convenient location. The fact that you didn't have to pay for parking per night is a plus as well although some of the parking spots were a bit tight. I loved how quiet it was in the neighborhood, which ensured we got a great night's rest each night.

The rooms are certainly outdated. Not sure if we needed to request housekeeping to replenish our towels and comp drinking water but for our short stay housekeeping never made it to our room (Not the biggest deal just thought they would have come).

This was our third stay. We love that parking is easy, it's walkable to downtown and local businesses, it's quiet, easy access to the highways / routes out of town for day trips, an easy drive to eastern Portland. We fine the beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom and showers are great. Love that there is a fridge, coffee makers, and in some rooms a kitchenette. There's an elevator for rooms not on the main floor.

Parking can get full but there are extra spots across the street when needed. Wish the cookies were out at different times but basically, we really like this place and it's our go to when we're in town!

Our room was on the small side for two people but fine - the beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. The location was fantastic - within walking distance of the Pearl district and fun cafes, restaurants, the famous Powell bookstore and foodtrucks. We enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood and the owner gave us a number of recommendations for the Elephant Deli, Ken's Bakery Cafe and Kells Pub which all turned out to be great. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the complimentary coffee, tea, apples and freshly baked cookies were very nice touches.

The Fitness room was very small with only three fitness machines, and it was dark and uninviting. My friend used it once and said not to bother. Instead we walked and walked and got our exercise outside.

All of the staff were very professional, friendly and courteous. The front desk staff made it a real pleasure to stop by the lobby for fresh coffee, morning cookies and a pleasant greeting. The room was super clean and cozy, the bed was soft but comfortable. Nights were quiet. The location is great for Washington Park access, 23rd Ave., the ballpark, and if you like walking, downtown and the river parkway as well. In the 4 days I was there I only used my car once to go to Hillsboro (13 miles) when it was raining. Grocery store is 2 blocks away.

My room had a retro style mini fridge that didn't work.

The front counter staff were great, friendly and very personable. I arrived earlier than expected but they were kind enough to let me check-in. The room (at the Inn) was fairly basic but spotless and the bed was comfortable.

The heater was really noisy when it kicked in (I felt as if I was very close to a runway) but it didn't run for long each time. The metal bedframe made some alarming noises but the mattress and bedding were very nice and the overall soundproofing between levels is minimal (I could hear every footstep the guests in the room above took). Maybe if they'd worn the complimentary slippers instead of heavy boots it wouldn't have been noticeable.

It was very good value for money. We stayed in a room in the "motel" style section, so it definitely feels like a motel rather than a hotel. But I appreciated that the room was clean and recently renovated. I also appreciated the free parking and the self-serve laundry in the basement. Also, we really liked the free tea, coffee, and cookies in the main lobby (and the tiny garden area for sitting). The location was great, close to Washington Park. Overall, for the price point, we were very satisfied!

The internet wifi is not strong enough for video calls (work meetings), though it's fine for just browsing the internet/checking emails. The fitness center is just a small room with a few pieces of equipment, didn't end up using it at all. Although the area was convenient and fairly safe, there were a few streets nearby that did not feel too safe for walking alone at night. Be alert and exercise caution!

We LOVED our stay at Park Lane Suites. The location was perfect for exploring so much of west Portland on foot. We explored and ate at restaurants on NW 23rd and NW21st. We could walk through beautiful neighborhoods and right up to Washington Park and the Rose Garden. We also walked to downtown and down Burnside to Powell Books and as far as Old Town Pizza and their underground tour! We especially liked our suite, room 510. It was a nice size with a big living room. It had a wall of windows that looked out at the neighbors trees, so green and pretty! And it was very quiet. We also liked the little touches, like cookies and 24 hour tea and coffee in the lobby. Plus the suite had some extras like oatmeal and orange juice.

It is an old hotel, so a few things were a bit dated, but it has also been kept up very nicely.

I liked that we were able to park on-site, and I could see my car from my room. The clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Even though we were downtown, it felt very safe, and I felt good about where my vehicle was parked. I liked being within walking distance of Washington Park. It was a bonus that we could see the fireworks from the balcony outside of our room.

I did not like that we had to take multiple sets of stairs to get to the room, as I was not expecting that, and there was no elevator that I could see. It was a bit tricky hauling up our suitcases for the night.
