Overall, this is a standard hotel for its class—nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing particularly impressive either. It consists of two buildings, each with its own parking lot. The parking spaces are small and often angled, but they are included in the room rate, which is a plus. We stayed in the building across the street, which, according to the staff, has rooms that are slightly inferior to those in the main building. The staff themselves were friendly and welcoming, and complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies are available at the reception.

Our room was small and, to be honest, poorly ventilated—a common issue in many U.S. hotels. As a result, the bathroom often felt damp and stuffy. The bathroom was also quite compact, with limited counter space, which my wife found frustrating. That said, we had no major complaints otherwise. The surrounding area is quiet and feels safe, although it can get a bit noisy in the mornings due to city maintenance activity.

This is the perfect spot if you're traveling to Portland! It's in an excellent location close to shops and food, very walkable. The facilities are very clean. I always wipe down surfaces when I travel and I had ZERO dust. Spotless. The front desk people are incredibly kind. When we come back, we will be staying here!

"didn't like" is a little strong, but just a few notes. - On the inn side, the sheet curtain lets in lots of light even at night. If you have to have pitch black when you sleep, the inn (not suites) might be a bit difficult. - facilities are a hair dated, but that's not a big deal for me! - inn side doesn't have an elevator that we could find, so if you're on the 2nd floor, you're carrying your luggage.

Our first night - the room was clean and there was a nice view of downtown. We were also able to walk to a location to pick up the on and off bus. On the 2nd night we upgraded to a suite that was wonderful. The extra money we spent on it could be saved in cooking in the little kitchen. It had great views, a comfortable living room for reading, and two bedrooms.

Our first night- the room was very small. The room ac unit kept me up cycling on and off. When it was off, the room was oppressively hot. There was also a bright light outside the room that seeped around the windows.

Everything was perfect... except for the bed. The bed was hard, and the frame made so much noise. I toss a lot, and even a slight movement would make so much noise. Parking is nearby and free but limited. If you arrive past 10 pm, you will most likely park on the street. The room was clean. The staff was super friendly and the location was great. The rooms are small but comfortable. It's a perfect spot if you just need a place to reset and spend the day exploring Portland.

The hotel has two buildings, the main one and an inn across the street. Parking is free, there’s a lot next to each building. We didn’t have breakfast but there’s orange water in the lobby, coffee, tea in the morning. The room has a coffee machine, coffee, sugar, refrigerator. There are two bottles of water. The room is simple, clean, in good state, there is a comfortable round table with 2 chairs. The bed is comfortable, with clean bedsheets. There is a lamp with power sockets on the bedside tables. A large mirror. The bathroom is clean, has a shower with curtains, plumbing is good. There were small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and gel - one of each. There is a large grocery store nearby in 3-minute walk, the neighborhood is good, it is quiet near the hotel.

The parking lot at the main building is very narrow. I didn’t like the way the metal part of the bed rattles when we sat down or touched it otherwise. We weren’t lucky with the upstairs neighbors, they were making noise non-stop late and early in the morning, as if they were doing repairs.

Super clean. Very quiet. Super roomy and practical for a couple with a teenage daughter to have privacy. Free parking within 10 minute walk of a busy shopping area and ~30' walk from downtown Portland. Hotel well integrated into residential neighborhood.

I reported the failing seal on the refrigerator that got it running extra hard. My kid who was sleeping on the pullout couch actually likes white noise so she didn't care. We didn't hear it because we could close the door. The extra blanket for the pullout couch was a bit flimsy but it worked.

The staff was outstanding and very friendly! Accommodating, helpful and made us feel at home. The room was terrific - lots of natural light, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Really nice - they offer water, juice, and oatmeal complimentary. Kitchen was clean, well-stocked with dishware, pots, etc., with full size fridge. Very comfy bed. The lobby mini snack bar with all day coffee / tea was a welcome treat. Have stayed at pricier Portland hotels prior, but NO MORE! Will always return here! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and joyful! We will definitely make this our Portland home base for all future visits!

The property parking is on a severe slope with very tight spaces - nothing they can do except possibly widen the spaces. They do offer safe parking across the street at the 'Inn' which is just fine. I'd suggest to unload at front door and then park across street. No other issues.

I loved the location of this hotel. It was centrally located to literally everything needed. Such a short distance to Washington Park, you could literally walk there. Also, there were plenty of quick food places within walking distance too, which made it an even more convenient location. The fact that you didn't have to pay for parking per night is a plus as well although some of the parking spots were a bit tight. I loved how quiet it was in the neighborhood, which ensured we got a great night's rest each night.

The rooms are certainly outdated. Not sure if we needed to request housekeeping to replenish our towels and comp drinking water but for our short stay housekeeping never made it to our room (Not the biggest deal just thought they would have come).

The location is great! We appreciated the free parking onsite. The cookies, coffee and fruit were a nice treat. The staff was very friendly and they were always doing things to make sure the property looked its best.

The parking is a little tight but doable. I wish there were some hooks in the bathroom. Our refrigerator had a loose seal.

This was our third stay. We love that parking is easy, it's walkable to downtown and local businesses, it's quiet, easy access to the highways / routes out of town for day trips, an easy drive to eastern Portland. We fine the beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom and showers are great. Love that there is a fridge, coffee makers, and in some rooms a kitchenette. There's an elevator for rooms not on the main floor.

Parking can get full but there are extra spots across the street when needed. Wish the cookies were out at different times but basically, we really like this place and it's our go to when we're in town!
