The location is AMAZING, they have a shuttle service that will take you anywhere within 5 miles, 24 hours a day. The young gentleman who checked us in was OUTSTANDING! Very kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. We had a cancelled flight and we were stressed, disoriented, and didn't know the area. The gentleman who checked us in was so wonderful and made our stay so easy, we almost stayed another day because it was so easy and relaxing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, everything is perfect at this hotel.

beds were so comfy, room was super clean & loved how they had a bar in the building. good food & drinks.

i didnt like that our room had NO hot water. taking a shower was a miserable experience. i did complain & even then the guy in the front desk stated “well no one has complained” mm so i went to the room after that & turned on the water again to try to see if anything had changed & NOPE :) cold as ice. i wish they would’ve offered to change us rooms or atleast to send someone to check it out. also the pool was small, nice but smaller than expected.

Hotel was beautiful, but the staff is what makes this facility top notch. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service picked us up promptly from the airport as promised and staff let us know that it was available to take us anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. Very nice amenity when you don't have a car at your disposal. We had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. The food was top notch, but the margaritas really put our meal over the top. I strongly recommend the peach margaritas. They are GREAT! I also want to mention that I accidentally left my credit card at the restaurant and was a nervous wreck when I discovered my mental lapse. I called the hotel the next morning and the young lady who answered assured my that my credit card had been turned into management. She even sent it back to me for a small fee. I was sooo relieved! Like I say, GREAT staff. this will be my go-to hotel in McAllen, TX.

The staff was friendly and nice, but you could tell most of the guests were Rich people from Mexico that felt they could make you wait to talk to the staff while they had their Long conversation with the staff. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and servers were friendly.

TV didn't work, no volume on some channels and last night stay TV didn't even turn on. No Hot water to shower, some of us already had a cough and couldn't shower. Advised staff but never got hot water. Didn't matter if it was early in the morning or late at night. Some people brought their dog into the breakfast dining area and fed their Huge Dog from the table food, such as sausages. Very unsanitary! No way to hide Huge Dog in dining area.

I liked having real glassware and coffee cups. The staff was very accommodating, front desk to housekeeping.The modern decor in the room was refreshing. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve encountered in many of my travels. Close to the airport and major roads if your visiting the RGV. I’ll stay here again and recommend this hotel.

I was on a floor that allowed pets. Next time I stay here I will request a room and floor away from pets. I realize I could have requested a different room but I had settled in the room.

I originally booked a double queen room, but because I was alone, the young man gave me a single room with a king size bed. Also, breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. The staff was also very pleasant. Also, I was told the maids would service my room every third day, but I was surprised that they came by every day of my stay to tidy up. Awesome!

I loved how nice and welcoming the staff was. I loved the breakfast buffet and the grill and bar at night. Super comfy rooms very cool and clean.

I really dont have e any dislikes, but if i really have to mention its more of a personal preference. I would change the pillows to more firm, they were too fluffy.

Everything was great! The location of the hotel, the staff, the bar/grill, the comfort, the rooms, everything was exceptional and enjoyed my stay!!

Only thing that I can really make a comment on is that the room had a musty smell, had to get some air fresheners and that did the trick for my 2 night stay.

Pool was clean but water need the jets running to circulate water. The room had a Stale smell, , visitors were like it's nice but the room smells bad. I said yes it smells like it had a bad water leak and they were still drying it and rented it out in spite of the smell. I did report it but nothing was done.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always willing to help. The RBG Bar and Grill was wonderful. The service, food, and night life were all excellent. Leo was the best! Friendly, polite and the absolute sweetest guy!

I loved everything. I am thinking about coming back down for a visit, just to enjoy the Friday night 90s night.
