The swimming pool and other facilities were very good, but crowded at times. The housekeeping staff were really helpful (replacing a non-working light bulb very quickly) and lovely to speak to. The reception staff were very helpful about putting my ice pack (for my injured knee) in the freezer, we did it once or twice daily, and they didn't complain.

We were really hoping for a minibar or fridge, but none were available. Although it wasn't absolutely necessary, we noticed that there wasn't air-conditioning, just a fan.

from the minute we entered and went to reception, gwen took great care of us. It felt like we had known her for years, and it had only been 2 days . The manager on duty was fabulous, and Sharon, who took care of us at breakfast the bar was great had all our favourite drinks rooms, were lovely clean and spacious, loved the swimming pool sauna steamroom, and jacuzzi definitely be back

The toaster in the dining room was a bit temperamental pale toast or burnt toast, and i was bit disappointed there were no pancakes or nutella. The ladies' changing room needs updating a bit, maybe shampoo and conditioner in the showers and a radiator or heater as it's very chilly when leaving the pool

The room was clean, well appointed and welcoming with all the up to date facilities you would expect. The staff were warm and friendly making you feel welcome as soon as you arrived. The onsite meals although a limited menu were excellent and the breakfast was great setting you up for the day ahead.

With the hotel being situated on an industrial estate there are no other pubs/restaurants in easy walking distance for longer stay residents.

The breakfast is great, I especially like that you have to ask for the fried eggs because then you know they aren't sitting for ages on the hot plate. The staff are great and soo attentive especially towards the children - the warm cookies are always a winner! The room is a decent size and my daughter especially found it comfortable! Best sleep ever she said. As for the swimming pool! What an excellent facility, very clean and warm which is always preferable haha

The pillows could be better but that's a personal preference to be brutally honest.

As someone who stays local, in Viewpark. I love to book here once every 1-3 months, to relax. I walk through the Glen if it is nice, and then I arrive to Hilton, which is always a pleasant sight on arrival. I love the minimalist vibes that the whole body of the reception hall has. The televisions installed into the furniture equipment, that acts as a wall next to couches. Then as you enter with the reception hall to my left and then the bar, and restaurant area to my right, a nice space with friendly staff always.

It is hard to find a negative, but I think the pillows are relatively heavy. Some lighter pillow would be nice. Also some generic earplugs for users on request just encase a room wants to talk loud or play music. Which I have no issues with because it is a event/party space and I have always thought the behaviour of guests are very welcoming, and friendly overall.

We had a nice time at the hotel rooms were clean and cleaned everyday we were there.staff very friendly overall happy with our time spent there

Not really what I didn’t like it was just a minor fault the tap in our bathroom was slightly far back from the sink so when you ran the water it just about hit the basin every time we washed our hands it basically flooded the surface area

The staff were helpful and very friendly.the room was bright and clean . Tea and coffee. However the tray had to be moved out from the pullout and put on the desk as there was no a plug to put the kettle in.

The only thing that was disappointing was the buffet breakfast . Last time we visited there was black pudding, haggis and granola . I know there were lots of other things on offer but if you go to Scotland you’d like to have traditional items available to taste.

The changing rooms at the pool/spa were communal and female or male. I was there alone with my son who had to go in a changing room himself with grown men walking about naked, he was very upset and didn’t know what to do, wasn’t allowed in the female changing room with me, I don’t like my child being in a room alone with strangers never mind naked strangers. For this reason only we would not go back to this hotel. I felt very unsafe having to do this, there should be a family changing for mother and son or father and daughter to use

It’s big clean and a friendly atmosphere The staff are really what make the place.

The scotland flags out front are disgrace and need replacing pronto. The spa could do with a really good clean in the saunas. You can see the dirt piled up under the seating Yous also need a need a new coffee machine for the breakfast area. The one you have is out dated not the nicest coffee and never any hot chocolate. Staff were amazing and got us hot chocs from the bar. Just think it would ease the staffs work load getting a new one that works properly.

The spa was lovely.

The staff and service was so slow. I had arranged prior to dinner for a plate to be made for my friend for her 30th birthday. I spoke to the servers 4 times during the meal asking if it could be sent out and was told I would have to continue to wait. I was really annoyed with this but accepted, we waited for another 30 mins after being there 2.5 hours in total before having to leave to make a booking in town. We did not receive the plate which was a shambles really.
