The staff were unbelievably helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfy and the view over the race course was fantastic

Hollie was really helpful and happily supplied us with extra milk. Very comfortable bed and spacious room and bathroom. Loved the toiletries. Lift was super smooth and access was easy for my mum who has knee issues. Great breakfast and evening meal.

A few more milks and coat hangers would have been good. Shower head was either in need of being descaled or maybe it is set like that to save water but water only coming out of half the holes in the shower head- room 305 I’m sure lots of places are like it but strange not being able to open a window at all. Bit of a mix up about breakfast so although the girl in the restaurant said she’d check if we’d already paid (we had added it the evening before when we checked in) she thought we hadn’t so we ended up paying twice so still wait for £45 back ( Bank holiday so am sure it’ll appear soon but could have been avoided)

The room was clean with a fantastic view of the racecourse. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The manager upgraded my room from the third to the sixth floor.

The food choices are unacceptably limited. I couldn't have dinner because the restaurant closes by 9 pm, and there were no halal options available. Even basic options like fish and chips were unavailable. Additionally, I was placed in a room with faulty air conditioning. I can't have my paid breakfast any earlier than 7 am, but I need to leave by 7 to catch my flight. This situation is unsatisfactory and needs to be addressed.

Location is amazing for the races, perfect. Restaurant food was beautiful and well presented, fabulous choice for breakfast and all piping hot and fresh. Staff were so friendly and helpful even the managers. Fabulous views from the room window overlooking the home straight and racecourse. Rooms were spotlessly clean as were the restaurant and all other areas of the hotel. Stayed at this hotel many times for the races and we will be returning when we attend the races again later in the year.

The restaurant & kitchen closed at 9pm, lots of people including ourselves wanting a table but refused due to restaurant closing at 9pm which is a shame as the food is 10/10

Room very good. Good view onto racecourse. Spacious and tidy. Staff very good and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat, very well cooked. Could have done with more variety on the cooked breakfast such as tomatoes, and crispy eggs rather than the slimy, greasy fried eggs (sorry but that's how they were presented) but still, very filling with a wide variety of non-cooked items.

Disappointed no window opening as I suffer with bad sinusitis so little sleep. Difficult to control and maintain heating in the room when cold as the panel was difficult to operate to adjust the temperatures; needs a booklet for people staying to manage the room settings.

We've stayed at the hotel a few times now and have always found it good value for money. The room was a good size, the facilities were good and the staff were friendly. We attended an event at the racecourse and you really couldn't get closer!

When I checked in I noticed that the shower gel was empty in the shower. I reported this to reception at c.14:30 and was told it would be addressed. We didn't return to the room until 22:30 and found that it hadn't been replaced. We had to "make do". The hotel was extremely busy and a group of us had a table booked for 19:30. The waiting staff told us there was additional delays and the food order wasn't taken until after 20:00. The food was lovely however my burger was under-cooked.

Stayed for x 1 night at the Racecourse for business. Excellent location for that facility as it sits overlooking the course and next to the Stands. It’s a cracking view to sit and have a drink and certainly beats staying in a grey city centre. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We had a small problem in the room with the heating but this was resolved promptly. The bar is well stocked with premium beers and we had a very decent dinner in the Grill with a lovely waitress who made us feel very welcome. The prices were fair for a hotel and all the whole business is well run. The only criticism would be the breakfast. It’s buffet service which is never the same as freshly cooked full English which you mostly get at a Premier Inn but that’s my particular preference. The coffee was good, the choice was expansive and the tables were cleared promptly. The price we paid including the car park charge - which should be scrapped by ALL hotels when you are a guest - is comparable to a Premier Inn etc is reasonable. Overall, a very nice 4 star hotel that I would recommend and would definitely use again.

Beautiful clean hotel !! staff absolutely fantastic helpful and kind. I’m heavily pregnant and was let check in early to drop my bags in the room and freshen up before an event we went too at the racecourse. What made me feel really safe is that a card had to be used to get into lifts so the security is there so no random people can just come upto the rooms. Brilliant! The room was clean comfy bed and shower was lovely decorated lovely, soft fluffy towels and shower products as well as hand wash and cream matching . The view of the golf course was unreal. Breakfast buffet 2 adults £30 is a bargain so much to choose from. I can’t say one bad word - and when I tell you I have my own cleaning business so I notice everything it’s very very clean. Really happy! And I wouldn’t ever stay at another hotel in Doncaster it really exceeded my expectations

I do not eat breakfast so I can’t rate that. The Pickled Sprout looked a convivial place for a meeting. The sandwich I ordered..(roast Beef with horseradish ) was excellent but for me, eating in the area of the Pickled Sprout was a big no no. The music is loud and tinny…a conversation stopper no doubt but if you are alone…it’s just irritating. The staff were very obliging and brought my sandwich to the comfortable and more quiet reception area. Would suggest the music should be muted background and less attention grabbing in this echo prone place. The staff at this hotel should be commended for the excellent, cheerful and obliging service they provide and this goes for everyone…reception / dining area / cleaners. They make this Hotel what it is; A good place to relax. Cleanliness is top notch. Bathroom / Shower efficient and well designed. I liked the range of toiletries provided…great to have a flannel as well as top quality towels.

Central location, adjacent to the Doncaster Racecourse Antique and Collectors Fair. Walked across from the racecourse balconey. Great Parking. Close to the Hemswell Antiques Centre In the midst of the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside Upgraded part way through stay to racecourse side of the hotel which had high floor expansive views of the racecourse. Enjoyed Happy Hour drinks at the bar prior to dinner each day which was very good service.
