The studio was charming with a lovely little garden, even though it was too cold to sit out. It was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. It strove to be environmentally friendly. Very nice, clean and spacious. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Free parking space Free wifi Wonderful breakfast - the bread was delicious, as was the granola Lots of food supplied. We arrived after a long journey and didn't want to find a restaurant. The plentiful of food for breakfast also did us for supper.

The mattress was a bit soft for us.

The suite we stayed in was just perfect for us both! We got married on 2nd September and chose to stay overnight at Home Farm and Lodge......the peace and quiet was just what we needed after a beautiful and blessed wedding day!! The accommodation was really lovely and the owners gave us a wedding card and a beautiful gift! The continental breakfast was fantastic, there was so much delicious food and drinks - it was all so delicious......a wonderful start to the first day of our married lives......thankyou so much, we will be back again soon! There wasn't anything we didn't like!!

From the moment you arrive you can see the love and effort that has been put into making this place special. It’s looks so beautiful from the outside and the room is just the same it’s super clean and tidy and has furnishings that are well kept and add to the theme of the room with the beams and hatch still intact. We didn’t meet Richard only Kerry but going by how warm and welcoming Kerry was I’m sure Richard is just the same. I asked for some roses for the bedroom as we were celebrating my partners birthday and she made it look beautiful he was very happy with them and so was I. We ran out of orange juice so requested some more, and by the time we got back to our room the fridge had already been stocked back up. The morning of my partners birthday we sat outside at our garden table and enjoyed a drink and some birthday cake it was so relaxing as your surrounded by flowers and a flowing fountain. The bed was very comfortable and considering I had a bad back I slept very well. We loved that you’re doing your bit to be green and would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much Kerry and Richard for making our first stay extra special we can’t wait to come again!

There isn’t anything, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad when we left.

The place was lovely and really natural with a gardens and the fields for seeing the barn owls at dusk. The room was beautiful and much larger than expected. Plenty of space to store clothes and anything you have. In the room there was fresh bread, orange juice water and lots of selection for the continental breakfast the next morning. I asked Kerry for some extra sugar which she promptly brought and asked if there was anything else we needed. We didn’t meet Richard but Kerry was lovely, she was there to greet us when we arrived and even let us check in early. I also got to meet her gorgeous dogs which was an extra bonus as I missed mine! Another huge bonus was how eco friendly they are, with refillable shower gel etc, separate recycling, they have really thought about everything. We would 100% recommend this beautiful place to everyone and will definitely be returning! Thank you for such a wonderful visit!

Hard to fault when the standards were set so very high! Perhaps advertised/available EV charging to add to their great green credentials.

Breakfast was large, big selection of cereals, lovely bread and fruit, jam and yoghurt. Would have been to have some pastry and the milk was lovely but couldn't seal the bottle which seemed a bit wasteful.

the room is quite dark due to being an old barn but really not much to complain about. Not the best tables to eat breakfast at.

Excellent hosting, and a thorough attention to providing environmental products, especially for the self-catering breakfast. Great situation, just off the A614 in a small village, and with a pleasant relaxing garden, plus a view over the local countryside, with chickens and rabbits in the attached land.

Rooms, well furnished, with cooker and fridge, and a small section of the room devoted to the TV and settee.

Great little find. Kerry welcomed me on arrival and was very friendly, even offering advice for where to eat. Room was really well sized, and immaculately clean throughout. I liked having all the facilities that I needed in the room, especially as I was away for work. The breakfast hamper was really well prepared, and I loved that it was full of local produce. Will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful property, set in the most beautiful gardens which are so well kept. We were made to feel very at home by the owner and truly appreciated the small touches. In our room we had a variety of breakfast options as well as fresh milk, orange juice, fresh fruit etc. The place was very clean and extremely good value for money, would highly recommend!

Beautiful well appointed cottage, very clean and well presented. Everything we needed to rest ourselves before venturing to our new home. Breakfast was lovely the location next to the mayflower was a welcome bonus. Very polite and helpful owners. If we are back down in the area we will definitely return.
