The hotel is in a perfect location and the size of the junior suite was really good. The food was very good. Parking was really good also. The cleaners were exceptional and we really appreciate the clean towels when requested.

The staff could be a little more welcoming. Try to get to know the guests who were there for a long stay like ourselves. Going to breakfast in a morning was a bit frustrating as they saw us most mornings but continued to explain the menu to us. We were left to be shown to a table a couple of mornings while staff chatted to each other! Some staff on reception would look up but not say good morning or good evening, just a little too much on the ignoring side.

The size of the room was very good, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was good too.

The air conditioning in the room came on as soon as you put your key card in, and the temperature didn't adjust when we tried to put it up a couple of degrees. The smoking area outside the bar was far too small, and therefore overcrowded. It was a sunny afternoon and there were 23 people trying to use the tables and chairs allocated in the smoking area, and just 2 people using the extensive no smoking area.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Check in was swift and we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant staff during breakfast went above and beyond, and the service we received was amazing. .The breakfast was really good.....lots of choice and fresh produce. Our bedroom was huge, the bed really comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Ample free parking on site too.

Just as a comment rather than a negative......from a personal point of view, a rug in the bedroom would be nice on the wooden floor just to make the floor a bit less stark......but in no way did it spoil our stay.

Beautiful property, immaculate gardens, staff excellent and the food was excellent good value for money good choice and gluten free options that were well marked on the menus and the breakfast hot plates. Gluten free cereal also available. When a problem occurred as explained on the negatives staff were very quick to respond and resolve.

Everything about the property under the control of the staff was excellent. I ended up with a very large room that was underneath a nearby 'apartment suite' I understand that this was a Saturday stay and that a party with the occupants was being held in that suite. The noise continued into the early hours of the morning. On complaining to the staff at 01.45 they swiftly moved me to a beautiful room in a very quiet location. My advice if you are not at the location as party guests is to ensure that your room is not in the close proximity of an apartment suite that has been booked for a celebration.

For the majority of the staff we experienced, they were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The drinks available at the bar were suited to our likes (but a tad expensive). Breakfast was delicious, hot and freshly served.

The staff at the evening wine tasting event were not as friendly; their level of service during the meal was abrupt, and they tried to clear away drinks that we'd not finished! There wasn't a fridge in the room and as the rooms were quite warm, we didn't have a convenient way to cool them. Also the tea and coffee was nothing special, to say we'd paid for a suite - I'd have expected upgraded facilities, possibly a coffee machine, which other hotels do as standard.

Location was perfect for our needs. Lovely staff here and found the food quality and service excellent in the Brasserie restaurant - very generous portions, too. Everywhere was clean & comfortable and am particularly impressed by the size of the beds & rooms (stayed twice now). Asked for a quiet room - as aware hotel holds a lot of noisy functions - and never heard a sound. Great nights sleep, lovely breakfast (they stagger sittings so it’s relaxed and not manic), very well organised. Will certainly stay again.

Nothing detracted from our stay, but for useful feedback purposes: I think the decor could do with a spruce up here and there. I’m sure the hotel knows this and are working through it.

excellant facilities very good breakfast

Regular user of this lovely hotel. However i made a mistake on booking believing I had made my usual booking for a double room. On arrival after a long drive from bournemouth it seems my booking was for one. The first receptionist accepted I had made a mistake and accepted my payment for the room. However on returning to reception for the drtnks voucher I was informed that my booking was cancelled and that I had to pay a supplement for my wife and breakfast on top of the usual charge for the double room. Then I had a lecture on it being my fault for booking through booking,com. I accept it was my fault but no consideration was given to the fact we use this hotel on many occassions. We did not book your New Years Festivities because of the treatment we received.

Another visit to this superb hotel, its a first rate stay no matter what rooms you choose and there is such a wide range to choose from when booking, This hotel has the highest standards and meets them with every visit. The place is spotless, the staff wonderful from management down the the cleaners. This is the place to stay if you want a most relaxing break in superb surroundings. Its worth every penny, the place is sheer class.

I cannot find any fault to report about my stay at this hotel which is saying a great deal after other places that I have stayed in the past that do not meet this set of standards.

the hotel from the minute you drive in you get a good feeling, plenty of parking ,receptionist very pleasant on arrival, online check in was easy, the rooms were to a high standard, breakfast was great ! overall best value for money hotel I have stayed in for a while and I stay in 2-3 a week,

slight critic on night bar manager as me and my collogue arrived as they were closing bar, which is understandable, but he was a little negative instead of being helpful. in the end we took our drinks through to reception which was fine.

The place is outstanding in both decor and attention to the guests needs. The rooms are superbly appointed and have everything that you need for a wonderful restful break. Situated just outside of Doncaster close to motorway links and the superb Yorkshire wildlife park this is the place to stay. Excellent staff who care about the guests happiness during their stay.

Nothing I have to say that I have stayed in a lot of hotels and it's difficult to find one that ticks all the boxes but this one does that.
