Easy to get to and find, car park at the rear. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Free pool and snooker on the day we stayed. Room was a good size with 2 x queen size beds that were very comfortable. Ear plugs were provided due to an event on the night (Saturday). We didn't find it noisy and all was quiet from around 11.15pm anyway after the bar had closed and the evenings event completed at 11pm.

No cooked breakfast option so we went to a different venue to eat breakfast before travelling on. Breakfast was an option but we didn't fancy cerials or fruit.

Clean, bright room. Great shower. Tea, coffee and kettle in the room. Also cup, bowl and spoon for each person. There was a small tv. Milk was in a fridge outside the room, also individual packs of cereal were also outside. A very large bed and a chair and mirror.. Large, free car park at rear.

Under new management, who are improving the business. They have only been there a few weeks. The room was comfortable. Small observation....could have done with some clothes hangers which will probably be added soon, once the managers have settled in. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are upstairs, so check for accessibility, if needed.

Excellent location as we were attending a funeral at the Church next door. Only 4 rooms so not much noise (earplugs provided if you did not want to go downstairs to the pub). Fruit and cereals left out, milk and yoghurts in the fridge (all located outside our room.

Something to fill the kettle with as it did not fit under the tap in the bathroom. Clean tea pot (needed a mild bleach solution to clean the inside, not been done for a while)

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here in early March. The landlady and bar staff welcomed us in and were very friendly. Yorkshire hospitality at its best. Also free parking in the car park at the rear of the pub.

Nothing not to like. We will be back.

Lovely friendly staff very clean room lots space and plenty tea coffee milk biscults and even fruit cereals yogurts and pastries great didnt expect.. even ear plugs if you need them, and great you can get in the room from 12.

Just bottles glasses on car park but we are not moaners so nothing really.

Staff friendly room and the room was nice and clean, good room location.

Main square shower rose was leaking so had to use the small shower head. Shower gel had run out. Out of date yoghurt reported to staff member but found it still left out of the fridge the next day?

Staff extremely friendly and helpful, room very comfy.

Decor was just a little tired in places, door frame to our room was damaged, but still secure so no major issue.

Nice spacious clean room very friendly staff and locals in the pub downstairs! Our third time staying here and it will not be the last!

Rear courtyard could do with a lick of paint, but this certainly did not affect our stay
