The location is great. They can offer gluten free meals.(unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try) Nice and quiet, considering we were right next to a drive through McDonald's. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size even with the 2 extra beds. The double bed was super comfy, and so was the sofa bed. The pull out extra bed apparently wasn't (but that was the view from the teenager). Air-conditioning took a little bit of a teenage genius to work out.

Some small bits that I am sure could easily be rectified. The toilet roll holder had obviously been broken by previous users and needed to be fixed. The bathroom looked clean enough, but there were still random hairs on the wall of the shower.

First time at a Marston's Inns hotel. Very pleased with what I found. My benchmark is Premier Inn, and I'm pleased to say my experience at King's Chamber was even better. Accepting that the whole property is quite new, it did still feel that way in the room. Everything was clean and tidy, the bathroom was very clean and everything functioned as it should. A nice spacious room and a very comfortable bed. Pricing was also very competitive! I will now be looking out for Marston's Inns on my future travels. The adjacent Marston's Inns pub served great and well priced food too.

Super clean , friendly staff, great food choices. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff if required.

Access for motability scooter into the disabled room was blocked by fire extinguishers in the way. I had to remove them each time to get the chair in and out of the room. The edge of the mattress is too soft for disabled people to get up and out the bed and no railing by the bed to assist in this. The toilet disability hand rail was broken.

The accommodation felt safe and secure and is keycard access. Rooms were modern, simple, clean and fresh, comfy bed, an opening window for fresh air which is always a plus. The lighting choice in the room was good, both overhead and bedside. The air con was working well in our room on this very hot August weekend, which was much needed. The bathroom was clean, towels fluffy, soft and a hot shower. The handwash and shower gel were good quality. Rooms are in a separate block to the pub which is great as it made for a lovely, quiet night's sleep. Everything we needed for a simple weekend stay was provided.

Nothing to dislike for us, but should be noted there is no lift to the first floor.

Basic room which reflected the value price. Nevertheless mattress very good, and mixer tap for shower and bath excellent. Very peaceful despite retail park location and proximity to motorway. Didn't try the pub food but seems very popular with locals.

Nothing to complain about though I should have thought to request a ground floor room. No lift and lugging heavy suitcase up the stairs wasn't great for arthritic joints. A mini fridge would have been nice

Friendly and welcoming staff, everything was explained before I was located to my room. Meal in the evening was lovely, again staff were extremely welcoming and willing to make my stay enjoyable. Upon entry to the room, aircon was on and the room was lovely and chilled. Beds were comfortable, TV was adequate, the only minor issue that I had was that the pillows although looked plumpy were actually really soft.

No sugar with the tea/coffee.

It was clean and smelt fresh. The accessible room was excellent it had all the equipment I needed. The staff in both the accommodation rooms and in the pub areas were all very friendly and helpful. They all appeared to enjoy being at work. We did not come into contact with anyone who was unhelpful. I would definitely recommend Kings Chamber and we would definitely return.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Staff on reception and in pub, very cheerful, efficient, and helpful. Clean spacious, bright room. Good bathroom. Good free parking on site. Adjoining pub (where reception located), good value for meal(s). We very much appreciate the check-in time, of 2 pm. Good to have the supermarket, Aldi, and very large B&M store on the complex too. Yet hotel rooms were quiet, very little external noise.

The room, including provided amenities, was really above my expectations for the price. I found the room in a lovely and clean condition, and there is absolutely ample parking available here. I enjoyed the discount available on main courses at the King's Chamber Pub and Restaurant for hotel guests!

Fantastic location, excellent value for money, able to add breakfast onto booking on arrival which was also excellent value for money & the pub was lovely staff very friendly

Some of the decor outdated, light shades had colourings on them & one of the walls had a burn mark on it, some of the paint was chipped on the walls in the room, we where only staying for 1 night and remained out of the hotel for the majority of the time therefore this wasn’t an issue however if I had paid more and was staying for longer I would have likely had been a little bit more disappointed.
