It was okay for the price for a last minute night away, it was a clean and warm room. Staff seemed nice and didn't hesitate to get anything that we needed.

It was very loud obviously being above the pub and some of the customers were being quite intimidating on the way in which did put us off a bit. These was no towel in the room and no basics like coffee materials. It was okay for the price for a night but wouldn't stay again.

Welcome and car parking was great, room was warm and had everything we needed. Location was excellent for our needs. We were to rear of hotel which meant no noise from bar which was very considerate. There was also a helpful list of taxi numbers if we had needed.

My only concern was the shower had a high step in and out. My mum who has brittle bone issues would not have been able to use confidently if we hadn’t used the room chair as a stable grab rail for her to get out. If we’d stayed less than 4 nights it would not have been a problem.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The Inn is well positioned for local amenities and close to where we needed to be. Although a little dated in places, it was spotlessly clean and we slept very well. For what we paid we were more than happy. Thank you 😊

There’s nothing we didn’t like really. It’s a bit dated in places but spotlessly clean and the room well presented. Good shower in the en suite. Toilet a little night on room but ok. I think the only thing I’d add is that it is important to remember that it is a working pub / restaurant as well as a hotel. It’s fairly noisy until the pub closes but it didn’t bother us as we had the tv on anyway when we got in at night. Once it was closing time the noise stopped and we slept well … and no we weren’t drunk 😂.

Location was excellent on good, frequent bus routes to town. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Andy, the new owner of only 3 days, was very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. He was very understanding about problems with noise and offered to find alternative accommodation if we chose to move.

We are 2 elderly ladies who chose the hotel as the only option on race weekend in Doncaster. The room was directly above the bar so was extremely noisy over the weekend. It was much quieter over the remaining 2 days. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate though the new owner was aware and intended to address the problems. A small shelf in the bathroom was needed for toiletries and a hook or rail for towels would be very helpful.

staff were friendly very helpful , admitted to us they they had just taken over and rooms slightly dated , rooms were fine . Had meal in evening and the food was exceptional again staff very welcoming.

Staff great ,food excellent .quiz night was great fun even if we were last of 28,probably because we had a dyslexic, alcoholic using the tablet to enter the answers.but it made it a night to remember 😀

Room was clean, beds were very comfortable

No ceiling light in the en-suite and the shower was little more than a trickle. However, we were only there a night so it didn't matter too much. We were unfortunate enough to have a room over the door to the store so got rudely awoken at 07:30 Sunday morning by the sound of the metal barrels being shifted around. This went on, on and off, for two hours. Add that to the loud tapping noise, which we never did work out what it was or where it was coming from. We did get a great 5 hours sleep before that all started though!

Great hosts very welcoming and hospitable. Excellent value for money highly recommended!

It was a nice place to stay for the night

There was someone's hair still in the shower hole (it was a dark brown/black I have red/purple) and we never used the shower. The floor of the shower was dirty round the shower hole, carpet was stained.

The owner was super friendly and helpful by organising us a taxi to the racecourse when we were really struggling. The rooms were basic as expected but perfect for a cheap room for a night. The pub downstairs was great. Everyone was friendly and the food was great. Nice outdoor area with benches to enjoy the sun!

The rooms could do with an update but it’s what you expect for the money.
