In general everything was extremely clean. All staff were extremely helpful especially the receptionists and the staff at the wilds bistro. The hotel itself was amazing such a nice view of the park with great facilities.

Overall the stay was excellent the only thing that let it down was the evolution experience restraunt the food was awful we go away alot and that's the worst food we have ever eaten. We did not eat any of it bar a few chips we told the waitress this and was just told she would pass it on we then went to complain and they took our details telling us we would be contacted the next day however, we was never contacted when we finally got contact from the manager he argued the point with us and made us feel like we was in the wrong and was extremely rude about the situation. We understand they are completely separate to the wildlife park however for us it really let the experience down

There was plenty of choice for breakfast. You could have either a continental buffet breakfast or a cooked one. It was all nicely cooked, though the bacon was a bit fatty for my liking.

Access to the hotel from the car park was not easy. I’d booked an accessible room because I use a wheelchair, which fortunately is an electric chair so I can drive myself. The room was excellent, but getting to the hotel isn’t easy. If you are slightly disabled and walk with a stick it’s a long way from the car park to the hotel., especially with luggage. The reception is in an entirely different building but the reception staff kindly took our bags to our room.

The staff at reception were absolutely fantastic at both check in and check out. Extremely helpful and really welcoming and friendly. We have stayed at the hotel before so knew what to expect this time round. The room was very clean, the bed comfy and everything we needed for a 1 night stay was provided.

The breakfast was cold and quite limited on choice as there were a few things that needed refilling and had to wait for and go back which is not a problem really but on your own with a small child it was a bit of a hassle having to go back an forth to the table as couldn’t leave him on his own. Again not a major issue but overall not really worth the price and would probably rethink adding breakfast on future visits

Really loved our stay here and it was really exciting watching the animals from our room. Facilities were great and the room was lovely! You get all sorts of tea and coffee and biscuits, and the staff were all very pleasent. The rooms were decorated really nice and beds were comfortable, and they even put balloons in the room for my partner's birthday which was really nice.

Only thing I would say is that check in was quite late at 4pm and check out was quite early at 10am. If check out was at 11am and check in at 2 or 3pm this would make things easier when you have a lot of bags and things.

Love staying here. My partner fetches me in the summer as a treat with the aircon. Room is beautiful and clean. Love the features and there's vending machines with warm food too. Nice and quiet. Late check in as we were caught in traffic from Oxford and late check out. Such a nice place and the staff so friendly. Highly recommend

Can't write anything here because it's lovely. Close to facilities or you can bring in your own food. Clean and bright and light. The only thing was the people in the beer garden underneath if your on that side treat you like your an exhibit if you appear at the window 😆

This is a well appointed hotel that while primarily for zoo visitors is great for any traveller. Free car park, WiFi, good restaurant immediately next to the hotel, a few interesting little shops open until 5. Easy access to Doncaster and to local pubs in villages to get away from the slightly surrealistic surroundings. Room spacious with air con. But no windows can be opened. Staff excellent. All clean but interestingly the Tom cleaner chose to wrap up wet towels as if they had been changed. The dial had been changed... With an empty box. Minor points. Very quiet in the week but with lots of families at weekends likely to be less so. Great breakfast if you make it inclusive. Easy to find and discount to visit the zoo . A must.

I've stayed previously when food quality and quantity was far better. I found this time the English breakfast to be tired.. I guess it had been prepared at 6am! I gathered on the second evening that there was a coach party, something we were told after a 45 minute wait. I know our order had been pushed to the bottom and had I not asked where the food was In doubt it would have come. It then arrived quickly and frankly was pretty poor. Burned steak and few crispy chips. Not good. Shame as this experience puts me off returning.

The experience altogether was brilliant. Really loved wondering around the wildlife park at leisure and got to see the animals at play and rest. Loved the fact that they were plenty of seating around the park to rest and check out the animals. The hotel room was really well set out and the bed really comfortable and really pleased with the large shower. The bar and restaurant next door very good and as was the evolution restaurant and coffee shop and gift shop. In all plenty of shops to wonder round after the park visit. Really liked the choice of hot brews made available in the room.

Only little thing was lack of gluten free food as I am a ceoliac and cannot tolerate gluten. Although the breakfast allowed me to have a cooked breakfast. But did not take away my enjoyment of the visit

Stayed for two nights was in a family room which was very spacious clean plenty of coffee and tea selection in the room choice of restaurants was good and if you had children with you the evolution restaurant would be great plenty of shops around with more being developed so will be back to see what's new next to wildlife park which took a full day staff in whole were friendly and professional

One of the staff needs a small bit of training as was told it was card only when cash was taken he was just a bit lazy to take it but didn't impact my trip

Being park side was good. Didn’t realise tapirs were nocturnal! Enjoyed watching them and the maned wolves from the room. Staff communication was good via booking.com as I asked for a late checkout and it was all sorted when I got there. The room is spacious and comfortable.

Have been to the bistro and the evolution restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend either of these. Service was slow in both, bit better in the bistro. Toilet felt kind of loose in the room. Tv (although not an essential) was a bit slow and glitchy. But I love the interface and last time it worked a lot better.

It's in a great location and there's many extras that other hotels don't think of. The little things like a dim light in the bathroom so you don't have to use the big bright lights at night. there was a great selection of biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We found there seemed to be a big American influence on the whole place with the thought that has gone into the hotel and restaurants. The evolution restaurant is very Disney like. it's great fun and the food was delicious. The wilds restaurant again the food was lovely. We had breakfast there every morning except one. The food is was good quality and at a reasonable price. The one morning we tried a different local cafe showed us the difference in quality of ingredients and we paid the same as we did at the hotel so we stayed in the hotel for breakfast after that. The food on the main menu was delicious and the prices were the same as other restaurant in the area so if you don't feel like venturing out it won't break the bank to eat there. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and soft, that is a big thing for me as usually I don't find hotel beds comfortable.

The walk from the carpark to the actual hotel is a bit of a distance. My husband clocked it at about a quarter of a mile each way with I bit of a hill to the path. Which isn't a lot if you are able bodied without lots of luggage (though in reception they have trollies for your luggage). It was difficult for me as i struggled walking after a bad fall. The bedside table although they look great and fit in well with the room, we found them a little impractical.
