This is a really beautiful hotel. They have done a great job with the decor, rooms and guest lounge. The location is fantastic—right in town, close to the Latin Quarter, waterfront, public transport and many shops and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows real feather. There is an “honesty bar”, where you make your own drinks and charge them to your room. There’s a lovely outside courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the flowers and fountains. There is an elevator for the higher floors.

Drinks at the bar are the same price as going to a fancy bar where people make them for you. Haha. In-room tea and coffee supplies are not replenished, even when staying five nights. These are only minor quibbles. I had a very lovely stay.

A lovely and unique hotel. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Loved the main house/lobby area with the trust bar. Great locaiton for walking to various restaurants in town. Quiet area. Helpful with local restaurant recommendations. We visited in December but I am sure there is a lovely garden and patio area to enjoy the summer sunshine.

The check in area is upstairs. It would have been helpful to be advised (post a sign?) to leave luggage in the courtyard below before dragging it upstairs to only have to carry the luggage back down.

Bed was very comfy, the styling of reception, the breakfast room and courtyard, ease of car parking, breakfast was enjoyable, staff were all very helpful and we loved the original vintage cinema posters

We only stayed one night but thought it was quite pricey. In the early morning it was fairly noisy with cleaning trolleys coming and going outside but we understand that couldn't be helped. Bath was more practical than the shower.

Nice for a short stay in Aarhus. Received a very friendly and personal welcome on check in, and the hotel is a nice little charming oasis which is a short walk to the train station and all the sights in town.

It was a warm summer day and there was no air conditioning or fan. Probably not usually a problem in Denmark, and the owner noted it's a central hotel in a European city (though everywhere else on my stay did have aircon...). It meant it was a somewhat uncomfortable sleep, where I opened the window to the squawk of seagulls. Also, to access the hotel after hours you had to carry around a very large and bulky key, which I think could be a bit less obtrusive.

Everything is perfect. Absolutly amazing place with extraordinary taste! The common room is a mixture between antic shop and movie location, with a cocktail bar for guests to use, a chess board in another corner and atmospheric french music in the background that fits the setting so perfectly. Didn't want to leave!

The location, friendly staff, and atmosphere. Great location with town centre eateries and bar starting at the doorstep. Still offering a feeling of seclusion in the garden. Lovely chats with staff members.

Noisy street below, could have easily been resolved with slightly better fit of window in frame, a bit of a smelly toilet. But, things were still clean and I am commenting on details

The room was lovely and comfortable and stylish, at the back of the hotel looking out over the pretty courtyard. the bar outside the front of the hotel was very noisy but we were not troubled at the back.

We hadn’t realised that breakfast was not included in the Booking.com price but was included if we booked direct, which obviously we hadn’t. We felt a bit cheated and the room was already a lot of money so we opted for no breakfast.

The hotel is very nice, it is a boutique hotel. A very special place. The location is great and they have a parking place. The room was tiny but comfortable for a couple. It is a nice place for minimalistic people.

Breakfast was tasty, but I didn't like how they served it. Also, they serve mainly milk products, and I'm lactose-sensitive, so breakfast was very limited.

It had a cool vintage vibe with a charming European courtyard out our French doors yet the bathroom was remodeled and modern which was nice. They had private parking which was great.

It felt a little spendy and did not include breakfast at that price.

Once we found this cute b&b (good thing GPS helps a lot!) we settled into our cozy Cozy room overlooking the inner courtyard. Quiet, restful after a long drive from Copenhagen we couldn't have been happier. Very nice breakfast.
