Very clean place, great design. Comfortable bed and pillows. Korres bathroom amenities. Near shopping and other restaurants. Very nice large pool

Cold welcome, likely due to some parallel loud dispute between hotel staff and hotel guests. I was immediately uncomfortable and not pleased to be there. No one offered to help me with my bags. Checkout: Despite speaking to someone in the morning and confirming a late checkout, 15 mins before checkout I got a knock on my door from an unfriendly/impatient looking housekeeper. 5 minutes later, I got a call from front desk. I paid for late checkout but was bothered and questioned about it during my last 15 minutes… not my idea of a welcoming or relaxing experience. Guests hoard beach chairs by placing personal items and towels on them. Room bench and bathroom door needs maintenance (room 409). Far from beach.

It's our 2nd time at this wonderful hotel and we had an amazing stay again - Pablo on reception was incredibly kind and went out of his way to make our stay perfect!! He got us the room requested overlooking the pool, he was very helpful and attentive to the customer needs. He deserves so much praise for his work, great representative for the hotel and your company. Our room was perfection, the housekeeping staff were amazing. The pool and grounds were beautiful... loved everything about our stay. The hotel is located in a fantastic area, very safe to walk around and close to a lovely shopping area. Always enjoy our time at Plaza San Juan. Can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel - thank you to Pablo and all the amazing staff for making our stay so great :))

Not negative, just a observation... Love the pool and gardens but it looked better previously when the Cabana beds were at the side of the pool, rather than on the grass. They gave more shade than the current parasols with the loungers.

Everything is so clean, the workers are cheerful and attentive, the location is wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, fragrant, the breakfast is excellent.

The location is amazing there are a lots restaurants around, supermarkets, pharmacy, mall, swim pool is beautiful, the room is super comfortable also the bed and pillows, the shower is amazing.

Breakfast was great. The variety of food items was perfect. The lawn area was ideal because I wanted an area to exercise and run. The pool and the chairs were cleaned and well maintained. Servers came out to assist us with drinks and lunch which was excellent. I had a wonderful stay at your resort I hope to return soon. Thank You.

The breakfast and the staf service was great.

The shower has issues the water comes our to the floor and the towel gets wet. I think you should provide extra towell or feet towel, or to place a plastic foam or something that could prevent the water from weting the floor. You do not want to slip and fall with a wet floor.

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained, the pool was amazing. Loved the delicious cocktails… best Mojito I’ve ever had!! The rooms were lovely, wonderful view over the pool… everything was very clean, staff were all very kind and helpful. The hotel is situated in a fantastic area… close to two shopping malls, supermarkets and very easy to get an Uber.

The big team of gardeners were working around the pool for a whole day of our 3 day stay - it was incredibly noisy. We also noticed they were about to spray pesticide in the gardens near the pool with guests around… not good and could have made everyone very ill!! We complained and they stopped immediately but that shouldn’t have been done with guests around and not in the hottest point of the day. Reception staff Francoise was great but we never heard anything from the Manager, even though we complained via Marriott Bonvoy about this.

Hotel location is convenient to shopping and numerous restaurant options within walking distance. The hotel staff are exceptional and aim to accommodate their guests as best they can. Uber drivers were always readily available and appear to congregate in close proximity of the hotel.

We didn't take notice of anything not to like about this hotel. The distance to the beach seemed to be the biggest disadvantage however, the super reasonable cost of using Uber in this area more than offsets the negative reviews posted for this hotel.

I liked everything about this hotel. This is probably the only hotel that doesnt charge you for your service dog or make you book a more expensive room because of it. I love the hotel I love the staff and I love Marriott hotels. The best of the best!

The coffee and that there were not many options of sweets and snacks to buy from the reception area.

I had an amazing stay at the AC Hotel in Punta Cana! Every year, I travel alone on my birthday so that I can relax, unwind and explore the world on my own terms. This year was an exceptional one, in part, because of the AC Hotel and its amenities, as well as its courteous and helpful staff. Most travelers to Punta Cana are there for an all inclusive experience. I wanted to explore the DR, so did not want a situation in which I would remain only at my hotel. I felt, however, like I received exclusive treatment, similar to what I would have expected at an all-inclusive resort. The food at the hotel was also exceptional. I have no complaints about my stay, but only good things to report. If you visit Punta Cana, I would highly recommend that you make the AC Hotel your temporary home!

Room was large and clean - shower was huge. Pool was great with plenty of beds and umbrellas. great location with lots of food nearby if you dont want to eat in hotel
