No provate beach

The location cannot be more perfect. With sea view, near almost everyone the city, and the comfort of the place and room, it has very good value and great stay. Excellent Customer service. Mr. Mohamed Fawzy and Ms. Aya were great and always welcomeing and caring Door bill, Abo Yousef was always available to make sure I get my Uber ride and taking all measures to insure my safety. Room service was great. All the girls were going above and beyond to make sure room is clean daily with provide new linens. Everything in the room was spotless. Even at night they check to make sure I have all my supplies of tea and coffee. Restaurant and the roof open buffet were spectacular. I was overwhelmed with the amount and variety of food available to satisfy every taste. The fresh-made traditional Egyptian food on breakfast was a big hit. I couldn’t keep up with all the varieties and the excellent quality. Chef Mohamed Qassem gave me a tour of the place with a bit of history of each cuisine, and his training in France to do all of this amazing food. On another day Chef Ragab made me a full plate of goodies to try. The freshly packed pastries were so yummy. The daily freshly baked Egyptian bread from Om Mohamed with her beautiful welcoming smile each morning made my days. Chef Sunqur made the great Falafel ever. I had groups of visitors and we enjoyed the special dinners at the roof. We tried Indian food, Sushi, and fish. Everything was wonderful All staff specially Sara, Mohamed Fuad, Omar, and Hussein helped me great deal, especially when I was looking for some medicines and they made all efforts to bring them. They took care of visitors who needed wheelchair and assistance all the time. Sorry if I missed anyone. I had a great stay at Romance Alexandria

Cleanliness, staff and location

- Aluminum windows quality and sealing…. However it did improve from the past. - The food on the roof top and set up was not that good. Service was so so slow too

The hotel location is central with a direct sea view. The breakfast on the rooftop was nice with varieties that suit all tastes, it even had Renga (Herrings) for Easter. The freshly baked bread was the cherry on the top. The only drawback was the coffee, the worst ever!

The American coffee and even the "hot" water at the breakfast were warm, not hot. So we ordered extra coffee but Baristas were not well-trained. We had to pay for a coffee that was not up to our expectations even after we expressed that this wasn't what we ordered. We received an apology from the maître d'hôtel and expected to replace it or even waive the bill but it didn't happen.

The staff did their best to make sure that everything was fine. The receptionists in particular were great. They gave us a room with a view and welcomed us with a nice cake and fruits. Thanks to the hotel management and staff, my wife and I had a great anniversary.

Nothing. Even when my wife suggested softer music in the morning, the fantastic Romance staff responded the day after.

The location of the hotel is very good. The staff are very polite and welcoming. The bed is comfortable

The bathroom in the room is a bit small. The bathroom in the lobby should be cleaned and serviced more frequently. Wifi in lobby and room is not the best. It works but is weak. The quantity and variety of food in the breakfast buffet is huge but the quality is not very good as many items in it are not fresh and are leftovers from previous days. Coffee and juice quality served with breakfast is very low. Improving wifi and breakfast quality can increase hotel rating reviews to 8.8 to 9/10.

Absence of a swimming pool and a private beach

Very Very central location. A very big key hook for this hotel. Breakfast was better before, but it was fine in my recent stay. Staff are very pleasant and respectful. Rooms are small but convenient for my short stay. Clean. Nice partial sea view. Everything worked well; TV, AC, Toilet. Free small bottle of water every day + coffee and tea packets and water boiler.

Check in is relatively quick but I waited too long for the room to be ready. Coffee machine at the restaurant looked too filthy. It tasted okay, but I was afraid to have a refill or have any the next day. The floral sofa in my room looked so dated and wasn't clean enough, specially the arm rests. Overall, there're no huge negatives, just a few improvement areas to look after.

We had a great time and were really impressed by the hotel. They upgraded us to a suite which overlooked the beach, and it had a stunning view. The rooms were very spacious and well furnished. The hotel is in a prime location and close to everything. They also have valet which makes life so much easier since parking is very difficult there. The breakfast buffet was great with so many different options.

The mattress and pillows were not the comfiest. Also, wifi was very weak and could not be used.
