The staff were so slow at the reception and they don’t smile at all. Hospitality is different - also foreigners were treated differently during welcoming guests at the reception; offering them more expensive drinks- which is unacceptable. It’s not about the drink of course - but differentiating between guests based on rate or something else is not respectful.

Hotel had a wedding and it was very loud. Also, the picture of the beach is very deceiving as this beach does not belong to the hotel and we were asked to leave. My kids usually like to play in the sand but also have access to the beach water, this isnt possible at this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay there, fantastic staff. A very comfortable welcoming hotel what makes it stand out is the amazing staff!!! reception. Radwaa Ahmed and Ahmed are really professional, nice, well trained, and polite!!! Housekeeping Azza was great attentive and very polite! Guest relation department very nice and helpful especially Youwana!! Romm service department is very professional fast service, and I would like to thank Adel for his great service! Restaurants wide variety and great food and perfect staff even the ice cream outlet was great quality and nice staff You have a great beach and wonderful surroundings, very comfortable rooms and great views. Nothing best hotel in alexandria!.

I had an amazing experience in Helnan Royal Palestine Hotel, started from the fast and smooth check-in with the very polite and cheerful young man Mr. Ahmed at the front desk, ending with respectful check out with the caring and generous Ms. Radwa. Mr. Ahmed offered us an excellent room (626), with a wonderful view at the Palace, the sea and the Fanner. He welcomed us in a very polite, professional and respectful manner. All the staff, Naser and the house keeping girls, Mahmoud in the Alexandrina restaurant, Mr. Amjad and chef Hassan in the seafood restaurant, the manager and supervisor of the Alexandrina restaurant was very helpful, polite and professional, Yomna in the Italian restaurant. I would also like to thank the 2 drivers of the shuttle bus who transported us to the Royal Tea island. They were so kind to my mother. All were professional, caring for us and very helpful. I can say, they love their work and belong to the company. They made us feel that. This is really very positive. We had breakfast, it was good and tasty with several variations. We also tried the launch, it was acceptable (fair quality). We had room service, soaps and cheese salad and we tried some deserts, all was very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel and I wish they keep doing great and that the current owner keep this impressive investment. Thank you for the memorable time you offered us.

Helnan Palestine Hotel is truly one of the best hotels in Egypt—if not the best. What sets it apart is the incredible staff. Their hospitality is outstanding: always smiling, supportive, and genuinely helpful. Most importantly, they treat all guests with the same level of respect, whether you're a tourist or a local. I personally recommend this hotel for its beautiful scenery, beachfront location, cleanliness, delicious food, and exceptional service. A truly memorable experience.

Some improvements and maintenance works should be performed in the rooms. Examples, some windows are not fully closed, AC system needs some upgrads, plumping works needed...etc.

Good location in Montaza with easy access to beach. Plenty of space around the hotel for nice walks around Montaza Palace and what is left of Montaza Gardens. There is also on demand golf cars to take you around Montaza for a fee. All rooms have sea view. Good wifi coverage even on the beach. There is a nice restaurant (Zanilli) next door with live music on Saturdays.

Difficult to arrange transportation ( taxi or UBER) out of the hotel because of Montaza entrance regulations. Hotel does not have limousine service but there is a shuttle bus to take you to Montaza gate where you can get a taxi or UBER. Beach is good but needs active cleaning from plastic trash left by guests. Breakfast is ok but lacks fresh juice/ choice of cheese, etc.

The hotel is located in the Montazah garden area, a true oasis in Alexandria, we got a lovely room on the Higher floors and could see the Beaufitul King Farouk palace right from our balcony, not to forget the marvellous sea view, especially at sunset. The hotel is also near the Tea Island and one can get there by the free shuttle service offered by the hotel, its location is truly beautiful and highly recommended for someone looking to see the Palace, the sea and Tea island. The Montazah garden area is truly exquisite and we enjoyed taking a night stroll, the area is very safe and you can enjoy the marvellous sea view.

We had a two nights stay over a weekend. The hotel is immaculate. It has a prime location overseeing the sea inside almontaza gardens. The place is clean and luxurious. The staff are helpful and professional. The breakfast is of good value and has a great variety between continental and oriental options. We had a room with seaside view which was more than amazing. The hotel has a small private beach, yet the water wasn't the cleanest. The hotel has a shuttle service which you can call to get you to and from the main almonzata gate, as otherwise it's a 15 minutes walk to the gate. The hotel will otherwise provide an entry permit to almontaza gardens, so don't pay a ticket at the main gate. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will indeed come back again when we visit Alexandria in the future.
