The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, even though we were only staying for a short time. The room was a very welcome surprise and far exceeded what I expected from looking at the pictures which was a great surprise

This is my third stay in city max, and as usual they continue to maintain the same standards as my previous stays. Starting with the receptionist mrs Mareena and the ease of registering our stay, it’s fast specially after a long trip from Cairo. The location of the hotel is perfect for my purpose, we are close to the city center of Aswan. At night you can also walk on a paved walk and you are very close to McDonald’s and many other food spots. The room is spacious and very cozy. I specially appreciated the fact there is an ironing board and iron in the room, the room was very clean and the view from the balcony is breath taking.

The food for the breakfast menu is great but I would love to see a variety when it comes to the menu each day abd maybe add falafel to the menu

The hotel’s location on the Nile was beautiful and very convenient for visiting attractions. Clean rooms and common areas, friendly and very helpful staff, and smooth check-in/check-out. Breakfast tasted great despite limited options, and they changed one or two items daily. Easy to reach museums and markets using local buses or taxis. Summer weather during our stay was pleasantly cloudy, making sightseeing — especially the Valley of the Kings and Karnak temple — much more comfortable.

Breakfast variety could be wider, and the the lights were little dim in the room..

This is my fourth stay in city max Aswan, and I’m glad to report they continue to maintain their excellent standards. The staff in the reception are very friendly and extremely helpful so don’t hesitate to ask if in doubt. Mrs Marianne and her colleagues were exceptional. Had to stay an extra night and they did everything possible for me not to change my room and for that I’m grateful. My stay included breakfast and it was great and of course one less thing to worry about. The room I got this time was a single bed which was spacious and clean. I specially appreciate the ironing board and iron that are included in the room as it gives me a chance to press my clothes. Over all I enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect too if you want to be close to the city center yet with out the hassle and bustle.

We loved our stay at citymax and surprised the rating for the hotel is not higher! The staff were so friendly and helpful, organised everything for us and mostly at the last minute too. The drivers they organised (boat and car) were also amazing and we wish we’d booked everything through them. We were upgraded to one of the suites and it was fantastic, a little dated but clean and the views are incredible. The rooftop and pool is an absolute highlight too! We had no issues with the breakfast, thought it was a great selection. Location is great and central too.

I booked this hotel bcc it was the closest one with good reviews to my cruise ship (once I got off from it). My stay really exceeded my expectation! The wifi was okay, and the staff was really helpful, especially when I had a disagreement with a local taxi driver. The facilities were modernised and the room was clean. Bonus point: the view of the Nile and Aswan street were incredible! really happy to stay here for the New Years Eve!

Wifi can sometimes be a bit slow. The coffee shop was supposed to open at 5am but I missed it two mornings in a row. The receptionist told me they didn't have a taxi driver to drive me to Temple of Philae, which was surprising.

Close to market, gave good packed breakfast . Stayed in triple room, it is spacious with balcony.

No one helped us to get the our luggage from car, the security was just looking and laughing how my child was trying to pull the luggage. Ramadan means no working for some people, they just escape. Shower needs repair , no water pressure will take at least 20 minutes for proper bath.

It was on the Marina, in front of the River Nile. Great location. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Mr Mohamed from the reception gave us an upgrade to a room with a balcony with a splendid Nile view. The room was very spacious. The view was amazing especially at sunset. Another staff from the reception, Mr Mahmoud, organised all our sightseeing trips. The driver for the trips was also named Mr Mahmoud and he was great, a very good driver and guide. He was very helpful and patient, allowing us plenty of time at the sights. We definitely recommend Mr Mahmoud as driver for any sightseeing tours. The hotel organised our transfer to Luxor by private car with stops at Kom Ombo temple and Edfu Temple, with the driver Mahmoud. There’s also a pool on the rooftop and a café on the rooftop.

We left Citymax Aswan with the best impressions. Its location is perfect, the view of the Nile is stunning and you will find everything you need (ATMs, food, the local market etc) right next to it. Ms Martina and Mr Mohammed are excellent professionals, and everyone was helpful, assisting us in everything. They made sure we have a good time and helped us navigate in Aswan. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. There's wifi everywhere. Breakfast is rich and has many options (local, vegan etc). Usually, during our journeys we prefer to eat in various places, but we gave a try to Citymax restaurant and the food was great in quality, quantity and price. Definitely recommended!

Great size room, clean and comfortable. We were in a room towards back of building with a view forward to Nile, which was very quiet, we slept so well. Lovely open area on roof of building and comfortable sitting area within reception, with coffe shop. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

Breakfast was buffet style and more limited if up early - did miss Chef being availabke for our morning eggs!
