The bath, oh , I loved the bath. And the supplying of a tooth brush and paste, and conditioner. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner could be set to my desired temperature. I loved the kettle, and the supply of tea and coffee. I also loved the desk space and chair. The bathroom was beautiful, clean and spacious . And the hotel is so close to the airport. My check out at 12.30, which was later than most hotels. The free shuttle to and from the airport was very handy. The staff spoke and understood English very well. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and it was strong.

I would have thought that the hotel could provide fresh milk in the bar fridge in the room for the tea and coffee for free. It seemed a bit petty to charge 60 Egyptian shillings for a glass of milk.

Le Passage is just that…. it is a place where people are ‘in transit’ on their passage from one place to another. The rooms are perfectly appointed for their brief use. The choice of restaurants is also to be commended. BUT their biggest asset is the staff- without doubt, each an asset to the hotel. One receptionist in particular, and we didn’t get her name (oh dear) was exceptional. We have spent our lives in customer service it is wonderful to see it is still ‘alive’.

The music by the pool…. too loud! But staff eager to help - move us to quieter area. Thank you

The staff was very professional and super friendly and helpful. It felt like home. Mr. Ahmed Maged the Duty Manager was really exceptional, he helped with everything and made sure that all my requested were met. They offer free airport shuttle bus and free WiFi. The room was super clean and recently renovated so everything is new. The live music every night in the lobby was great, and the lobby itself is very cozy. There was a party rocking the hotel on valentine's "night" in the hotel's night club. Lots of fun and good music. It's definitely won't be my last visit. Will come back again. Thanks for everything.

Absolutely nothing

The hotel is amazing, staff are excellent, food is delicious we tried both breakfast and dinner, service is excellent especially Zainab and Hadeer, special thanks to them, we felt at home because of their welcoming attitude and kind service, staff at the reception were very welcoming and helpful as well

The only negative thing that it was located inside the airport and generally used for transit flights, you have to go through airport security checks (sometimes long waits) each time you’re heading back to the hotel. No groceries or any shops around by walking distance, you must always use a car (≈8 min ride) for anything you would need outside of the hotel.

We were only here for one night preparing for an early flight so our needs were small. The room was big enough for an overnight and the bed was comfortable. Had a good shower and plenty of options for breakfast which was pretty consistent with what we had throughout Egypt. Appreciated the amenities in the bathroom.

I would have given this place a solid 10 review except for two things. The smoking in the lobby drifted all the way to our room with such strength that I woke up choking in the night. Also I found the breakfast serving dishes not extremely clean. Granted we were having breakfast very early in the morning, but chafing dishes should be well cleaned at all hours of the day. One final note that bugged me was the desk clerk saying we were getting an upgrade when it was just a regular room.

Pros: The staff was super nice. From the free airport shuttle to helping me check in to an unexpected room upgrade. Everyone was great. The room was spacious and very clean and I had a great view. There's a bar in the lobby that was nice to have a glass of wine/drink after a day of sightseeing. I didn't get a chance to eat in one of their restaurants, but I think they have three of them. Plus, they brought me complimentary fruit and cookies in the afternoon (I think this is for executive rooms only.)

Cons: I thought they should offer free breakfast for the high price, the pool and casino were closed for renovations.

I was a guest of your hotel since the hotel was under Movenpick name, I do love the hotel and location, not much change still I can feel the Movenpick touch everywhere, I can can advice the management and owner to look for full hotel renovation section by section in order to match the new hotels trend, your hotel have enough space to have the best hotel in Cairo as well your facilities it’s great but only need someone to look at it,, many thanks

The only one I don’t agreed with the parking for the in house guest why I have to pay while I’m hotel guest??? I was going outside to buy something they asked my you have to pay now!! I told him I’m. Hotel guest and I’m coming back they said no now you have to pay,, I did pay and they said your after the 24 hrs you will be charge for extra parking fees if you don’t leave before the 24hrs,,
