The airport has a free shuttle bus from the airport. The staff were generally nice. The buffet meals were good, but breakfast wasnt great. 24 hours a day one could order food from the bar. Good prices on their cigars in the shop.

The hotel is FAR from most Cairo attractions. One will spend more than average on Taxi fares - but Taxis are cheap for people coming from the West. The room was quite small - could have been nicer. Desserts were not great - some tasted like cardboard. The ATM machine did not work. The Hotel has a problem with people who come and thieve from guests - this happened to us and we were told there were some seriel offenders. Not all staff are trained well... once i asked the difference between coffee x and coffee y. I was told, this is one coffee and that's another coffee!

The hotel has very good Staff, Receptionist Yasmin, very charming, supportive and lovely lady. I appreciate service from Room attendants in 3rd floor: Mr. Honey, Miss Dina and Miss, Qamar. Chef Fahad and Sabir are very good chefs gave my family challenging food with best recipes. without forgetting Restaurant staff Mohammed Islam, Yusuf Ihab. Please give best complements to Novotel Taxi Driver Mr. Islam (Abu Mohammed). Very supportive and has best tour guidance around Whole Cairo.

Novotel has best chefs but the Menu is more or less the same every day. Display of food is same and deserts are same every dinner. Next I come to Cairo I will stay here and see the improvement All Gulf State Muslim citizens will use water spray beside WC. If you can not install water spray beside WC, then install walking shower in other toilets. Room 376 has problem in bathroom. It returns bad smell into the room making sleep somehow unpleasant. I should not complain but for more than 10nights of stay it was a pain. WIFI Internet is not consistent. It breaks many times.

It's exactly what you would expect of a chain 4 star hotel near an airport except with a pool

Novotel didn't bother to update booking.com to say the pool was closed for maintenance. As it happens it was a bit overcast and windy when I stayed anyway so I wouldn't have got to use the facility. But it goes to show how they care about the customers to keep an advert up that is false. I'm sure it was an honest mistake but I could have stayed down in a 2 star hotel without a pool for £200 less and been perfectly happy. So I paid for a treat I didn't get. So the staff on the ground were fantastic but the big boys in management need to clean up their act. As usual. Oh and the Internet was appalling. I mean dreadful. OK in the lobby and the bar but try watching so much as a YouTube video in your room and you've got no chance.

Staff outstanding in all areas, willing to help and provide good services, we would think about bringing our entire family on a vacation to Cairo here. They have tour services, buffet breakfast, Italian restaurant, cafe, pastries, sandwiches, desserts, bar, spa, massage, gym, and a few shops. It is close to a shopping mall, the pyramids, sightseeing. Staff like Ezaat went above and beyond to serve us and provide good meals, housekeeping prepared our room after hours perfectly! We think the high traffic of airport passengers thru this hotel is a challenge that they handle with good manners, quick responses and friendly. We have received good care from people with a great attitude. It matters so much when we travel.

Shuttle for pick up from airport was not easy to get and it happens every hotel shuttle at busy airports.

this was an unexpected stay after my airline messed up my connection. I must say I was very relieved to have a hotel close to the airport to save me from my layover misery. the staff were absolutely beautiful, my bus driver who picked me up seamlessly from the chaos at the airport, the reception staff went over and above to accommodate my needs, Sharma did a wonderful job to provide me with a clean and welcoming room, and the traditional breakfast. wow. All this, made my short stay feel like a holiday within my holiday, and changed my travel interruption form a nightmare into a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

All the staff works really hard to take care of their guests and the food is amazing! A beautiful lightbath by their lovely pool under gorgeous egyptian sun and a delicious italian dinner with fresh tasty icecream. The room was comfty, clean and quiet, perfect for the deep rest that I needed, and the shuttle bus service from and to the airport was just ideal. Great experience, definitely comming back!

Check in was a little messy, but understandable since there was many people and I was early on my arrival time. No big deal, I took advantage of the extra time to have a delicious breakfast rigth there on the lobby cafeteria.

Room was big with all necessary amenities like fridge, kettle, toiletries etc. A sofa, office table and wardrobe were provided. 2 complimentary water bottles and tea, coffee sachets were kept in the room.

The room was not cleaned before I checked in. Toilet napkins were lying on the toilet floor. Besides, plastic wrapper, pill covers etc. were lying on floor and table. Bed and pillows were lying in a used manner. When reported, the front office staff came, checked and immediately asked the housekeeping staff to clean the toilet. He apologised and compensated me with a fruit basket, which I didn't use as I checked in at around 11.45 pm and checked out before 7.45 am. Appreciate the good gesture of the front office staff, however, this should not be the way a room should be handed over, especially for such a short stay.

I highly reccomend this place for stopovers or business stays. It had a very good vibe (busy but carefull), the staff was really really nice, gave me an upgrade and let me check out later without paying adittional fees. Lunch and breakfast were decent and not expensive. I would definitely come back to this hotel on layovers or business travels. No hussel and no second intentions in being nice is a valuable thing and rare to find in egypt. The location is 1,5km from the airport.

The shuttles to the airport, which is a good plus for the hotel, are very random and we waited a long time, 1h from the airport and 40 min to come back to the airport when the standard is having vans every 30 minutes.

Rooms are recently renovated, Rooms and bathroom very spacious, clean and comfortable.

When you make the booking, it promises early check-in, when you try to arrange, you are expected to pay an extra 30USD which makes the stay not as economical. Free shuttle offered between airport and hotel, but drivers harass you into a 'tip' of 5-10USD each way. Not really something i disliked, but something to consider, the hotel room doors are dark and old, which gives the impression that the hotel is outdated. A fresh coat of paint or lighter doors, will help brighten the hallways and create a more modern look and feel.
