Friendly staff … clean room …. excellent furniture status

1- when I arrived there was only one employee at the reception, he was quit busy answer phones , finish my accommodation, reply another customer next to me 2- my room window was facing Inner courtyard of the hotel ( you can look at the restaurant down of the window ). This view was so bad regarding didn’t get enough day light through the window during day ,also I couldn’t get my convenience as could not open the window all time as people walking around at the opposite ails . Next time i wish the reception employe let me choose which room view suitable for me . But generally it’s very good hotel

The hotel looks beautiful. The rooms are good size, clean, and comfortable. The checking in was easy and quick. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient.

The Wi-Fi was sometimes slow, . Also, make sure your booking includes breakfast—I wasn’t aware mine didn’t, and I had to pay $10 per person. The breakfast was good, but it wasn’t worth the extra cost. The pool was also smaller than expected.

The property is extraordinary, with spotlessly clean rooms and exceptionally friendly staff. A special mention to Mr. Khaled Zaghloul and Ms. Neemine, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. As a bonus, the hotel even arranged a complimentary airport transfer, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel also offers a variety of cuisine options across their restaurants and features a beautiful pool, making it perfect for both relaxation and convenience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect stay. Can’t wait to return!

Ambiance - the pictures they’ve uploaded hardly do justice to the royal architectural style…everything from the pool view to the room is elegant. Room - Clean, comfortable, and soundproof Bathroom - Both options (Bath tub and high pressure shower) for cleaning up, no mold smells, fresh towels, and branded toiletries Location - Accessible. Uber was easily available round the clock. Breakfast - The restaurant is located inside the most beautiful area of hotel but food options can be added

Everything was excellent - staff, services, hotel, cleaniness, food, housekeeping absolute outstanding best hotel in Egypt. All staff were just amazing especially housekeeper Thoria Anwar and manager of housekeeping Salah were the most friendliest and most outstanding staff of all and we started to love them even more after what they treated us soo nicely with their kind help and service to us. I highly recommend Sonesta and its most amazing staff 😊❤😊❤ we cant wait to come back to Sonesta for the 3rd time in December 2025.

The best bit of any trip is the people. And Egyptians are warm and friendly. From the moment we touched down the locals offered advice how to get through the airport. First queue here then there then there. Even the taxi driver waited far beyond his time, had his sign like arranged. Then carried our bags. And for the record getting through immigration took me mere seconds of interaction the longest part was waiting while others were delayed explaining and explaining. Not for us We got to the hotel. Went through small security checks. The driver put our bags in for scanning, as is the procedure here upon EVERY entry to the hotel. We tipped the driver and entered and went through a scanner. Far from being put off by it. It became second nature. Without thinking I’d put my phone in the tray and collect it half a second later on the far side of the scanner. Security is taken very seriously in Egypt so just go with it, it’s for your own safety. The concierge took our bags and we checked in. They had expected us and it took me a minute or two and we were then taken on a mini tour of the facilities and brought to our rooms with a full explanation of the, how to, as we went Breakfast, beautiful location, wide variety. Pool area and gardens are beautiful clean and well serviced. The AC lobby(and rooms) way a welcome relief from the incessant heat. But the evening brought a wonderful cool breeze to the pool area and it was very comfortable after sundown The staff, of which there are plenty, could not do enough for us, yes I did tip them but it was only one or two euro. And their happy service earned it They were friendly, good humored, very helpful and did their best to get around the language barrier but with many having perfect English. There was never any real issue being understood past a minute or 2 As a group of 30 ish we loved our stay and were made feel very welcome and comfortable.

We were well advised and prepared, water, sun block, hats etc but Cairo is hot. Really hot, not a lot you can do to avoid it that’s the only down side (but after a few days you do acclimatize)

Staff was friendly and cooperative. The hotel is huge, with several restaurants and bars, pool and banquet halls. Rooms are very spacious. Complementary pick up and drop from and to the airport is great.

There were controls for the air conditioner, but they didn't work. Whatever temperature you set, it would get very cold at night. Even if you set it on fan mode it would keep on cooling. Only option is to turn it off - but that would mean no ventilation in a closed room. Another issue was the rooms are very old. The furnishings and the bathroom are old style. Lacks modernity that you'd usually get in a modern 5-star hotel. There are no accessible plug points by the bedside to charge your phone.

The hotel overall was good, the room was really very spacious and nice with a lot of facilities, and the bathroom was too big, well decorated.

I did not like that there is no handle to open or close the window inside the room, the Wifi was too slow, parking is very narrow and they scratch my car mirror The breakfast was not nice at all, very expensive and no variety as other hotels I experienced.
