A nice quiet area opposite the Baron palace, Reception staff always willing to help, friendly porters, security on the door, our chambermaid Hanan was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for her, breakfast was very good, lots of choice, we stayed for 3 weeks and ordered room service a couple of evenings and food very reasonable and tasty. Our room was comfortable and big enough for our stay. Lovely pastry shop on the side of hotel very tempting. It is easy to get Uber in Egypt, but there is a taxi service on the corner if needed.

The only thing I would have liked was a couple more English channels on the tv just for if you stayed in some evenings. But that's because we were on a long stay visiting friends and family, I realise most people at the hotel are touring and short stays.

We spent 5 nights at the Baron Cairo Hotel. The hotel grounds are very nice and well-maintained. The hotel has everything guests need. Restaurants, Bars, ATM, pastry shop. The hotel also has a rooftop swimming pool (non heated), which is located on the 7th floor. There are no sun loungers by the pool, but there is very comfortable seating in separate armchairs or in seating boxes where you can also lie down. There is also a SkyBar right next to the pool where they prepared delicious drinks for us. Pool towels are located at the pool Bar, don't take any towels from the room. The roof space is really well used. The space is very well laid out and there is plenty of room to sit and relax. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel staff was always very kind and attentive. We also tried the local pastry shop in the hotel. The desserts were delicious. We also used the food delivery to the room. It worked great and we liked it very much when we returned tired from trips. When we checked in, we received a link to the Baron Hotels mobile application, through which it was very easy to order any service. WiFi worked well and it was stable all the time. Just one small thing. The room was always clean. But considering the light-colored carpet, it would be worth considering the wet cleaning of the carpet.

Had a great stay for over a week. The room was satisfactory, and the facilities were in ok conditions. The staff were very helpful and supportive. Maria from reception checked mid-stay if there is anything needed which is much appreciated. The breakfast place was nice, with a good view of the Baron Empian Palace only blocked by trees at times. They gave me a room with a good view of the palace. You need to take careem or uber to most places and the metro is few minutes of walk on the other side of the main street near the hotel.

It was a little cold and the air conditioning heating didn't get the temperature to the level adjusted to. Elevator and the flooring is a little old. The range of breakfast items offered was ok but can be improved.

Location, good breakfast, good bed, attentive staff, the views. We felt comfortable. And a special thank you to cleaning staff who brought us more tea and water when we got cold and stayed 2 days in the room. The staff allowed us to choose the room according to our needs during check-in

Just a small issue with the bathroom: sometimes it was smelly, probably old sewerage. The bathroom is a little bit small. You need to remove the bath mat every time you close the door. And room service staff speaks not so good English, it was hard to explain that we wanted oatmeal or porridge - we tried it all (when we got cold). They brought us dried oats:)

First assigned room ~ 1 rating: - music from the floor below until midnight - noisy and constantly running air conditioning in the bathroom (also dirty) - one lighting at Mirror in the bathroom does not work and the magnifying mirror is about to fall out of the wall - the air conditioning control in room is out of the wall - the light in the hallway can only be turned off from the bed, but in same time you also turn off the electrical socket next to it - coffee / tea not available. …after claim received “Baron standard” ~ 8 rating

The location of the hotel is nice, it is located in Nasr city close to some government institutions and the mall which is 5 minutes away by taxi. The best feature of the hotel is the roof terrace that offers a great view of Baron palace, it also has a nice pool and a bar, overall nice place to sit and relax. Hotel is clean, furniture is bit old and might need replacemet, bathrooms and carpets as well, but overall it is kept clean.

The ventilation system in rooms is to loud, Iuckily I brought earplugs with me so I didn't have trouble sleeping, otherwise the noise is not comfortable at night. I didn't find the staff to be that much friendly to be honest, they were only friendly at the end when we were checking out and were asking to rate and review. The male staff in particular is borderline rude, the female staff was ok. The especially unfriendly ones were the staff at the outside bar that is on the ground floor of the hotel. WiFi connection was not good most of the time.

I stayed here 3 years ago, and almost everything has changed and been renewed. The staff are still very helpful and friendly. I especially want to thank Ms. Maria guest relations supervisor for her hospitality and kindness. The food is excellent, the rooms are clean, and everything is thoughtfully provided in the bathroom, from a toothbrush to a shaving kit. When I stayed 3 years ago, the window in the room was broken, and the air conditioner was not working. Even the new room they gave me had issues. Despite knowing all this, I chose this place again because it’s close to where I needed to go, but it felt like I encountered a completely new hotel. I definitely recommend it!

Baron Hotel in Cairo offers a truly exceptional experience. The hotel is impeccably clean, with well-maintained rooms and common areas that reflect high standards of hygiene. Staff were very friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever needed. Location is very central to many popular areas. Room with a view was worth the extra cost. The room was very large. Would comfortably fit two adults and luggage without feeling cramped. Bathroom seemed very clean. Choice of bidet. Shower had decent water pressure and heat even on a high floor. Towels were fluffy and they even had some extra large towels, which is a rare comfort in any hotel. Selection of different pillows and a comfortable bed. Free bottled water, tea and coffee in room. Also, security lock on door will set off an alarm if forced open (or if you’re sleepy and not great at opening doors properly). Made me feel very safe as a female solo traveler. Male staffers were also super respectful whenever they needed to come into the room. It was very appreciated. Even for these two things alone, I would stay here again.

Bed sheets had a stain on them and needed to be changed when found at 1am. That being said, staff was in the room and had them changed in under 15 minutes. They also doubled up on the bottom sheet (without me asking) to make me feel safer about this. Breakfast was a bit lacking and many of the tables were dirty. I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s not included in the room charge. There’s excellent cafes nearby in Korba where you can get a beautiful breakfast for around $7 per person. WiFi was not usable/very slow.

We spent one night at Baron Hotel and had an incredible experience. Maria, the guest relations supervisor reached out to me ahead of our check in when realizing it’s my husband’s birthday. She kindly arranged a delicious cake with his name on it as well as beautiful decorations in the room with flowers and balloons, creating a most romantic and festive vibe. Maria, always with a smile on her face, made sure our stay was one of the highlights of our stay in Egypt, she even offered us a later checkout which we would have gladly accepted if we were not in a hurry that day. On top of that, the breakfast buffet had lots of options to choose from and the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. My husband is a culinary chef and was overall impressed with the quality of products and services offered at the Baron Hotel. The room was spotless clean and the hotel smelled like Christmas throughout. It might be a 4-star hotel but Maria and the team surely provided a 5-star experience. Our stay couldn’t have been any better with thanks to the incredible hospitality of the entire team, we will for sure be back!❤️
