Locatiom is super, all you need is five minute walk: Good beach, Gomla market, center of the Sheraton street, with many markets and restauranrs. The stuff is super friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Hurghada, everything, what you need, is located five minutes away: excellent El Sakia beach, the center of Sheraton street with many shops and restaurants, walking street Sheri, promenade Marina, currency exchange point, Gomla supermarket with the best prices for food. Rooms are clean and comfortable with interesting design, beds are comfortable. I lived in a room with two balconies and a great view! The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive to all guests' wishes. I especially want to mention the hotel manager, Mr. Ghani, he offered me an excellent discount on accommodation and late check out! The hotel is small, very homely, quiet and cosy, with perfect value for money, I will definitely go back again!

My name is Abdirahman from Somalia. I stayed for one week at Golden Sun Hotel together with my friend Abdisamad, and our experience was truly wonderful. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and kind. A special thanks goes to Asma (the manager) – she is a remarkable woman with a warm smile, great behavior, and genuine care for guests. She always asked what we needed, helped us get the best service, and quickly solved any requests we had. I also want to sincerely thank the chef for preparing such delicious meals. The food was well-balanced, full of flavor, and always satisfying. The hotel environment is very peaceful and quiet, with no disturbances from other guests. The rooms are comfortable, the toilets are fully equipped, and the AC works (though it makes a little noise sometimes). The prices were also cheaper than we expected, which made our stay even better. Lastly, I want to thank all the staff members for their humble service, professionalism, and warm hospitality. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Hurghada to choose Golden Sun Hotel and enjoy the great experience we had. Good luck to the whole Golden Sun Hotel team!

Everything in this hotel was absolutely brilliant !!! 😃 Very friendly , helpful and polite all staff in the reception and restaurant . In the room you have fridge , kettle and cosmetics and water in the bathroom is ALWAYS very hot ! Nice balcony for rest and relax . I recommend to buy a room with half board ( breakfast and dinner ) and then you have option to take verything from card menu - starter , main course , water from bottle and dessert ! All meals in the restaurant is very tasty and MORE than delicious 😋 Definitely much more better quality than buffefood in the other big hotels !!! The prices for soft drinks or beers are AMAZING and in the hotel's restaurant you can buy such a lovely Egyptian strong beer from original 500ml bottle for only ... 1,5 £ !!! Location is very good - main street in Hurghada , so you have shops , restaurants , beautiful marina and cheap El Sakia beach - just a few minutes walk . Location is great, right in downtown, it's easy to go everywhere (marina, night market). room is clean, staffs and owner are friendly and helpful, they gave us the good welcome drink, recommendation for visiting the city, we feel safe when we was here, not like the other cities.

In my opinion the location could not have been better. We were right in the middle of the restaurants and shops in Sheraton road. The marina which is packed full of restaurants and bars was only a 6-7 minute stroll away. A lovely beach El Sakia was right opposite and also a 5-6 minute stroll away. El sakia beach is 100le per person per day and you get a deck chair and chioce of whether you have a shaded umbrella or not. On the way back from the beach is a very large and good supermarket The staff were excellent and we found this to be true throughout Egypt. The rooms are basic by European standards but had the 3 most important things...A/C kettle and fridge. Value for money was simply unbeatable. We did stay in other places a lot more expensive and no better

Perfect location, 5 minutes to Marina, 5 minutes to the good public beach, a lot of cafes and shops around. Breakfast was not bad but the same every morning. But it is your choice when you want to have breakfast. Free wi-fi. Additionally, I would like to thank Yousef who works at reception. True gentleman who can help you always you need.

Nothing. Everything was very good. If you need more tea or coffee or have additional shampoo or soap you can tell it at reception and you will have it.

The room and reception staff were amazing! Very friendly and always willing to help. I went for a dive after my check out and they stored my bags and even let me quickly use the room and shower again, for a small fee of $2. Close to everything from a Market to Restaurants and main street.

I went to buy drinks and the card machine was not working. I only had USD, I converted their price from Egyptian Pound to Usd, they were unhappy with the price in USD and doubled the original price, doubled! Not cool to take advantage of a paying guest.

quite noisy street because of street musicians and late evening open places. there is no elevator, top floor would not be proper for seniors.

The hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. The room was very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, very nice balconies. Staff was more than accommodating, going way and beyond what I got previously while travelling around Egypt. Breakfast was really good considering Ramadan time - when we asked Chef she even prepared omelettes for us and they were excellent. Lovely staff with very warm attitude towards their guest. There are some things like pretty weak WiFi but it's nothing that would hinder our experience. It's one of the only times I give 10 points to the hotel but fully deserved.

There are several points of improvement like everywhere but still they deserve 10 as for the price you pay these are so minute I don't even feel like listing them is relevant.
