I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Freiburg, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the warm welcome at check-in to the seamless departure, every moment was exceptional. The **location** is ideal—just a short walk from the historic city center, making it easy to explore Freiburg’s charm on foot. Despite being close to the action, the hotel is nestled in a peaceful area, offering a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The **rooms** are spacious, spotlessly clean, and elegantly decorated. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and thoughtful touches like a well-stocked minibar and fast Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. The view from the window was simply breathtaking—a picture-perfect scene! Breakfast was a real highlight. The **buffet** featured a wide variety of fresh, locally-sourced options, providing the perfect start to the day. The restaurant staff were always courteous, attentive, and eager to ensure everything was just right. What truly set this hotel apart was the **staff**: professional, friendly, and always ready with helpful tips for exploring the city and nearby attractions. Their genuine dedication to making guests feel at home was evident throughout my stay. The **additional amenities**, such as a cozy spa and private parking, added a layer of convenience and luxury. It’s rare to find a hotel that strikes such a perfect balance between comfort, elegance, and outstanding service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Freiburg. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

Clean comfortable beds, good shower (power AND size). Nice staff. Lifts available. Arrived around 8pm and we determined to not pay the 18 euros PER NIGHT for private parking with the hotel, no no no! Looked at the reviews on booking (Thanks the community) and drove around the block. You can park for free after 8pm( if I remember correctly) till the next day 7 or 8am (sorry my memory is failing!) We initially thought well we get into town with the car and pay for the parking then. However as we were walking back to the hotel we found a space and it was totally free! (See picture!) Apparently from one street to another things can vary (we asked a local passerby) and you just have to drive around and keep your eyes peeled! So we left the car for two nights there, no problem at all and we saved ourselves a lot of money! Plus.. We rented bike for free from the hotel! Loved that! Not the best bikes in the world but brilliant to get into town quickly !

I wished there was a kettle in the room to make a hot drink!! (there’s a cafeteria downstairs, but it’s expensive).

Good location within a half hour walk to the centre and very close to tram stops. Entrance lobby and breakfast room nicely decorated and cheery. Good breakfast offer.

The room, particularly the floor, could have been cleaner. We had a two night stay at the end of May with pleasant weather and temperatures around the mid to late 20s. The hotel room had no air conditioning; just an inefficient heating/cooling system that will affect the temperature by + or -3. The room was way too warm and really affected our ability to sleep, even though we kept the window open.

Extremely friendly staff, very well maintained hotel. Amenities are great, shower with high water force. Very spacious room. Car parking underneath hotel, feels very safe. Public transport is a heartbeat away, tram into Freiburg very easy, multiple options. Area around hotel doesn't feel like one of those industrial areas, pretty rural and relax. Value for money-wise, I don't think one can expect much more.

No major issues, just some very small things that would not prevent me from booking again. The AC worked, and it cooled the room, it was not the fastest AC I encountered. Could've been improved. The beds were only singles, but I could connect them with a hook underneath. The car park is not bookable in advance, yet it seemed very big and many spaces were open when we arrived

For me everything was perfectly fine, check in, room, comfort etc.( Yes even the shower thing did not really bother me, it was unfortunate, but that can happen)as I rarely frequent nicer hotels. Prince was very good as well for what you get. Bonus: free coffee at the check in desk.

This is not intended to be negative or anything, just a friendly heads up. I unfortunately had a little incident with the shower as the drain was very clogged and the shower is designed in a way so that water can absolutely not rise. If it does, the bathroom will be flooded within minutes ( which happenend to me). Luckily I noticed and took care of it ( unclogged the drain and cleaned the bathroom), but if someone would not notice fast enough, the water would likely run under the bathroom door and damage the rooms wooden floor, which would be unfortunate.

The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very polite and helpful. It is located in a very quiet area and the neighborhood seems to be new. The hot water was available 24 hours

The temperature of the room is not regulated well with the air conditioning. The thermostat was not working properly. One room was hot and after they changed our room the other one was a bit cold. There are no Large beds, only two small beds. There is no refrigerator in rooms.

Room was clean and relatively new. what is missing in some new locations like this is closet space to stuff your clothes, for one night ok for more nights not so. The AC cuts off when you open the window very good feature, at night the AC was too loud for me and I like fresh air so opened the window. the area is quiet. the garage is under the hotel

I would have liked a bit more space but for one night this was fine. the toiletseat was loose which happens a lot, I hate this, I think when it is cleaned daily this should be notices by personel and be corrected.

Good pricing, the room was very clean for this type of hotel. Alot better than most hotels for this price. Also looks modern and nice. Perfect for a night if you go to Italy the next day. Parking was €15 per day direct under the hotel and guarded. Its a plus in this case.

The airco didnt work when it was 30 degrees outside Breakfast was meh, the food was a bit tasteless. The beds were not that comfortable, but for this price and only one night its okay, but for more night i wouldnt recommend

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Perfect for a couple of friends. The location is perfect as it is 5 min walk to the tram station that brings you directly to the city centre.

One of the nights the fire alarm went off, and we had to stay outside in the cold for about 30 minutes until the firefighters stopped the alarm. No information was given to us about what happened. It would be nice to receive a message with a short explanation and apologising for the inconvenience.

We are a couple in our 20s. We like to travel with comfort but we don't have money yet for 5 star hotels. This hotel doesn't have any dirt, mold, and insects. This hotel is perfect and I do not see any reason to pay for a more expensive hotel in Freiburg. It is modern, exceptionally clean, and the breakfast is a buffet (шведский стол) with eggs, plenty of bacon, porridges, fruit, berries, you can eat it and get full for the whole day! It's not like in Sea resorts, but it's quite big compared to other hotels (I mostly travel in France)

It's not a disadvantage. Actually it is an advantage for a couple. In our room the wall between the shower and bed is transparent with a bit of blurry "censorship". It can be quite cringe for those who are not OK when everyone else in a room can see you in a bathroom and shower room
