The breakfast and hotel is excellent . The hotel is located in a central area which means I got around very easily. There is a lot of history to take in. There are historic sites and shopping center in walking distance.There is a supermarket across the street from the hotel. I recommend it to any one. I stayed for a week and had an excellent time there. Front desk staff and room service was excellent.

There is nothing that I dislike about the hotel or the area. Everything was nice.I can't find nothing that I could say that I dislike. Everything was great for me .Room service was excellent , nothing to dislike.

The hotel is very contemporary and beautifully equipped. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent, although we would advise an early start during the summer vacation months to avoid waits. The location was good, being a short 10-15 mins walk to Parliament hill. The parking is subterranean and very convenient for the hotel by lift. There are plenty of restaurants locally but also on site options too. The pool is great and the gym is well stocked. The room we stayed in was well stocked with kitchenette. The room rate was very reasonable for what was on offer.

This is a lovely hotel and one of the nicest we have stayed at during our many years of travel. Beautiful decor. Our room was very spacious with a nice sitting area. The kitchenette space was well equipped although we actually only used the refrigerator. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and the dining room was quite spacious. Even though it was very busy, we could always find a space to sit. Great location- only a few minutes walk to Sparks street- the pedestrian mall and about 10 minutes from the Parliament Buildings. Staff were very helpful pleasant. We did not use the pool or laundry facilities but both areas looked clean and larger than in many hotels.

The location worked fine for us, we are live in a larger city and found Ottawa downtown core to be quite compact. There are a number of restaurants within waking distance. And an Uber to museums cost about 6-8 dollars. For parking, it is in and out, but the entrance ramp down and parking spaces are tight... even with a sedan; for full size suv and trucks there's no way they would fit. The room was quite large. We bought our own pack n play for our LO and was able to leave it up in the kitchen area and there was still a lot of space to walk around. The kitchen came in handy to store drinks and food, microwave worked fine to reheat takeout. The room was clean. The TV worked fine, they had disney Jr and another Disney Channel which was a big plus. Only issue was that the toilet did not refill water properly, so we had to lift the lid and fix it everytime. The free breakfast was good to have. Nice to not have to think about making something in the morning. The swimming pool was a nice size. Our LO just loved going in it. Cold at first but was fine afterwards.

While we liked the breakfast option, we found that some of the food was so-so. Eggs (? Powder) usually needed more salt... sometimes the milk for the cereal tastes funny. Overnight oats consistency was different everyday. But overall, we still appreciated it.

My only negative comment is it seems that the coffee and tea service at breakfast was done away with. Last year, you would arrive at your table and staff would ask if you wanted coffee or tea, In which case an urn of coffee or a pot of tea was brought to your table. This year, there was a station. Tea was hot water in a cup. While gone to get my tea, someone took my table and moved the items I left in place to indicate the seat was taken. This would not have happened if we had the tea and coffee service...............

The cost of parking being charged daily. I had to call twice to get bedsheets for the sofa bed. Cover/blanket for sofa bed wasn’t comfortable at all! Sorry The sofa bed itself wasn’t comfortable at all. Maybe for a small and child, but not for a teenager. A bit of noise coming from construction going on around, but not your fault!

The room was spacious enough and the reception send me in 5 minutes the housekeeping to prepare the sofabed for my daughters. We had a complete kitchen available with dishwasher and a big (american :-)) fridge and everything... Services are quite good: nice indoor pool, nice gym and very nice lobby. Every person at the reception was nice and helpful, thank you!! Position is fantastic: 50 mt from the metro and 200 mt from the Parliament hill.

Just prices at the lobby were a big high, but is understandable.

Staff at breakfast were fantastic. Very friendly and informative. Stayed for a week so it was nice to see them and they recognized me each morning. The King Studio Suite was spacious and great for a longer stay with the fridge and seating area.

Each morning as I left for meetings and approached the lobby, some of the staff just stared at their computers and didn’t acknowledge people going by- even with just a smile. Particularly one taller male with blonde hair seemed to be non-engaged with guests.

This was our first visit to Ottawa and the hotel is in a good location to access all the city has to offer. All the main attractions were a pretty easy 15 to 20 minute walk away and we quite liked the quieter nature of the area we were staying. Room was really large with good a/c, a kitchen, fridge freezer etc. We had a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and we did eat there on a couple of occasions and we thought it was good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good quality with lots of choice although inevitably it could get a bit busy at peak times. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

Room wasn't cleaned as often as we expected during our eight day stay and the bed linen was not changed at all but these are very minor quibbles and did not detract from our overall stay.

Excellent room loads of space and very clean as well as the nicest hotel bathroom we’ve seen in a while looked brand new.

Breakfast buffet has gone down hill a bit since our last stay last year. No more table service of coffee, no cut fruit buffet and limited selection of hot items and for some reason you’re no longer allowed to take away back to your room (hot food at least). Would be good to have the option to not have breakfast included I think especially for the Homewood suites.
