I always stay at Hyatts everywhere i go, the experience in this one was lower and the hotel was a okay compared to the other hyatts around the world that are about the same price. Would not recomend this exact one.

When it says downtown you would think you are close to the momre touristic places but you learn that everything is more than a 10 min walk. Eventhough the metro is a block away and really easy to use. Also the is a park for homeless people infront so its not a great view when you go outside.

Excellent Hotel The hotel offers a stunning view of the Montreal skyline. The value for money is unbeatable — the room was large, spacious, and modern. There’s also a heated pool, a sauna, and a well-equipped fitness center. A big thank you to Yasmine at the front desk for upgrading me to room 2804 with its breathtaking view, and for providing all the information I needed to feel at home and make the most of my visit to the city.

A few minor improvements could make the experience even better: • Modernize the fitness center • Adjust the sauna door mechanism, as it takes several minutes to close properly Other than that, the services were excellent. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The pool is amazing and my 5yo loved having so much space where she could touch the bottom. We choose hotels that have pools mainly for her so that was a huge perk. The rooms are very quiet and we hardly heard any noise from the hallway at night. We liked having the metro right there since that was our main mode of transportation. Needing to use your room key to access your floor in the elevator made us feel much safer as well.

Based off the "good", I'd love to say we would stay here again and again but the number of times we were aggressively approached by people begging just outside of the hotel and around the block makes me think we might try to find something else next time. It's really unfortunate since this hotel really is quite nice. If I wasn't there with two little kids it probably wouldn't bother me as much.

Beautiful, spacious rooms and a great bathroom. The staff were incredibly helpful — I checked out at noon, and they kindly stored my luggage until my bus at 11 p.m. I was also able to spend a couple of hours in the hotel lobby without any issues. There’s a small convenience store inside the hotel and a large grocery store directly connected to the main lobby. The location is superb — downtown, surrounded by great restaurants and cafés, with the nearest metro station just a 4‑minute walk away.

While the bathroom was great, it would be nice if the showerhead could be changed to a more modern one.

I loved the location of the hotel, it was centrally located and even within walking distance to many of Montreal's attractions like old Montreal (there's even a supermarket easily accessible via the hotel lobby so you don't have to go outdoors for groceries) and the Metro is literally a little less than a block away (at the corner of small park in front of hotel). Also, my wife and I have high praise for the front desk and hotel staff for their amazing hospitality and professionalism! We felt more like family and friends more than guests! Special mention of Yazmine, Carolina, Simon and Noor from the front desk! They are Awesome and a great asset to Hyatt Place Montreal! Our room was clean, beautiful and had a great view of the city scape. Anytime during our 12 day stay we needed extra linens or toiletries the maid on our floor was very attentive! (Shout out to Aminata-she was fantastic) All in all, we will definitely come back to Montreal in the near future and a big part of that is because of our experience at Hyatt Place,so we absolutely will stay at Hyatt Place again and we're telling everyone we know back here in NYC about our amazing stay in Montreal at Hyatt Place!;👍🏾

Our only 2 critiques would be that the hotel should seriously think about having an on property laundry room for guests, because we had to take our clothes 2 blocks up from the hotel to a local laundromat to get them washed. Also a microwave in the guests room would be an added plus!

1. Location, 2. plenty of restaurants nearby, 3. walkable to many destinations and transits, 4. view from room, 5. starbucks and a grocery store connected to reception. 6. breakfast was good for $11. Be specific to give the count at breakfast desk otherwise they may charge for all in the room. But Hyatt was helpful in refunding me the deductions later on when called.

1. No microwave or hot water kettle. Need to go to reception to heat up even water. 2. Parking underground was pricy $26 per day. But is safe. 3. Swimming pool was small and dark in the evenings

The location was fantastic - we didn’t even have to go outside to get into the subway system. The staff were all friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good.

We were there with several other families all staying in separate rooms. Everyone felt that the air conditioning didn’t work particularly well and it made it difficult to sleep. The refrigerator in my room also didn’t work.

Loved the location across from Gamelin Park and close to 3 different metro lines. The view was incredible. On the 28th floor we could see from la grande Roue at the old port all the way to the cross on top of Mont Royale. Rooms and common areas very modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Miriam at the front desk who gave my children a special treat at check in and got us a bandaid when my son cut his finger.

In the afternoon the pool area was a bit messy. Discarded towels and hair / dirt on the wet floor.

Neat rooms, breakfast was decent but could be nice if they can add some more varieties. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is good, parking is 26$ per night but can go in and out and can park until 6 after checkout too which was helpful. Got room with city view and it was good. Overall good hotel and one of the very less number of hotels which offer free breakfast in downtown which was helpful.

My room had a small issue with Bathroom door but its not like not-functional just that it was hard to close. I didnt inform it but when I checkedout, I was told if informed they would have fixed it. Breakfast area is very busy but they had enough tables and space to sit and eat. Would be nice if they can add some more items to breakfast.

Location was optimal for where we needed to be for work, the sauna, pool and exercise room were really nice, breakfast area was well-managed. Loved the convenience of the IGA and SAQ connected to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

A microwave would have been handy in the room/the room was very warm however we did ask for a fan on the 3rd night and were accommodated. The staff were very helpful in extending our stay by one night and we were able to stay in the same room.
