Great location close to bars, restaurants etc. Had a nice little balcony too and the room was spacious and clean. It's very central so you get the buzz of city life going on and I like that but some people might find it a little noisy.

The person on reception wasn't very friendly. Even with the language barrier (although I do speak some Spanish), a smile can go a long way to making you feel welcome!

The room was great - very big with plenty of room for storage. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great, it's a nice part of town and only 20 mins walk from the beach. We were given a room with a balcony, that had lovely views!

The air conditioning was not very effective.

Unfortunately in our bathroom a tile had been removed from the ceiling & there where a number of of wires exposed which was worrying as we didn’t know if they were live. We did mention it to the staff who was on the desk in the morning but didn’t get much of a response

Solo female traveller. Fantastic and safe place to stay. Late night arrival ( around 1am) which was not a problem. Visiting in June and the air conditioning had been already set up for me in the room which was a nice surprise.

Unbeatable position, within 5-10 minutes walking to everywhere, right next to the strategic Plaza de Los Luceros, where all trams stop, easy fast and cheap trip to San Juan Beach (fantastic), supermarket 3 minutes away. Not a new hotel but impeccably clean and even with a "Franco Era" old-school charm. Got an unrequested upgrade to my room. Cleaning staff always smiling and clearly treated well (very important for me), very helpful and polite at the reception. A total bargain, for the price: recommended!

Situated in a quiet Street , but cllose to the Railway Station, I was lucky and got a superb room with a view of the Castello!

I could not get the television to work in room 601, ( but did not try real hard! So there is a chance I was being stupid )

A good central location. Not as close to the marina as I would usually stay but this hotel had last minute availability and was perfectly adequate. A little dated but exceptionally clean. My room had a small balcony with brilliant views of the Castle and city. Staff, including housekeeping, were absolutely excellent and very helpful. No frills hotel but absolutely fine as a base. Air conditioning in the bedroom was perfect.

No water on arrival or refrigerator in the room but expected at this price point. Quite lightweight door to the room so I heard some noise as people used the corridors. there is a second door to the bedroom section so bedroom was peaceful enough at night.

Friendly staff, downtown location, just a few steps from several types of shopping and dining opportunities. It's located really close to the Luceros tram station and the train station isn't far also. The old town is within a walking distance too. The beach (Playa del Postiguet) is well within a manageable walk.

Could be noisy but just a tiny bit and with the balcony door open - downtown location; we had no serious issues though. Some guests generated more noise than the occasional traffic outside - not the fault of the hotel. Indeed, the design is dated but the room was clean.

The location is great, so also the staff

One can only use the WiFi in the room. It does not work anywhere else, not even in the waiting areas. The toilet does not have a cleaning brush. On another subject: Please give me credit on the charge you made on behalf of Chalet St. Louis, #3974425022. The host cancelled my reservation, that is why I came to Le Petite Majestic.
