The host and her husband are amazing!. Super friendly people, and very attentive!, the husband even dropped us to the airport!. The apartment is also very clean and comfortable with all the things you’d want and need from an apartment!. Comfortable bed, great shower, a washing machine in the room to clean your clothes and beach towels. The location is also very good; with it being just a 10-15min walk max from the beach and centre where all the bars/restaurants are, although you’ll find bars/cafes along the route.

Not much to be honest. Maybe would have liked it to be closer to the beach, but I’m just lazy lol. Overall though, there wasn’t really anything that I didn’t like

We had an excellent experience and stay. The hosts were extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation is very well located, close to a variety of food options and also to the Mercadona supermarket. The room was very well equipped, with new, well-kept and functional items. The kitchen had a two-burner stove, a microwave and a compact fridge, which suited our needs perfectly. The balcony had a clothesline for drying clothes, as well as a table and chairs, ideal for relaxing outdoors. The bed was very comfortable and all the linens - sheets, towels, dishcloths - were in excellent condition. Soap, shampoo and detergent were also provided. The washing machine was an excellent feature, especially for those who want to enjoy the beach with peace of mind. The indoor area included a cozy sofa and a table with chairs for meals. Another plus point was the availability of spices and basic cooking items, such as olive oil and oil, making food preparation much easier. The place was spotlessly clean and well looked after. Without a doubt, it was one of the best options we could have chosen. We highly recommend it!

Very good location: close to the city center, supermarkets (Mercadona, Fruit stalls, Caffees, an amazing brunch spot-Carmencita) One to one match with the apartament booked: spacious, spotless clean, well equipped with the basics for a quick snack prep.,large bathroom and a small terrace. Comfortable bed, qualitative bed linens and pillowes. The host was very friendly, very responsive to the messages sent. Easy check in and check out process. The bonus was that we were able to check in early, even if we only asked if it would be possible to leave the luggage at the location upon arrival. Complementary coffee, tea and water within the room. I totally recomand this location, looking forward in visiting during the summer.

Friendly suggestion: I do not mind taking out my trash, but I could not find where to take it in the night prior to the check out. Maybe providing instructions in this regard would be helpfull.

Convenient location (10 min from the city centre, 5 min from Mercado), not noisy (the street is quite quiet and the nearby traffic on another road is not affecting you during nights/mornings when we were at the apartment with windows opened or sitting on the balcony). The apartment itself is bright, spacious, well equipped and we were more than happy with that. Everything on the pictures is according to the reality. Sitting outside on the balcony and enjoying the sun in the morning with the breakfast was unbelievably pleasant in December (comparing it to our country where it is cold and mostly cloudy/drizzling/snowing during this time). I was worried about the mattress on the bed but absolutely unnecessarily (it was a bit harder but really comfy). Bathroom was also great, everything seemed to be quite new and thoughtfully done. The hosts were also very friendly and helping (we felt genuinely cared about) any time - quick communication, everything sorted out nearly immediately. I would choose this apartment in the future once again.

The only thing I would appreciate - the double bed being wider (we are used to enough width of a double bed, min. 160 cm or even more; when it is less you need to control yourself more during the night :-)).

The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. It is also nicely decorated and has a "zen" athmosphere. The bed is comfortable, the kitchenette is well equipped and the bathroom has a lot of space. Plus, the hosts are extremely helpful! Thank you so much for this! We loved it here! Would come back for a longer stay sometime.

The street parking across from the apartment is always full and guarantees you a dent in your car, so loading and un-loading can be very difficult. We managed so I only mention it for those who come by car and have a scratch-free vehicle - you need to go to an underground parking somewhere in town, otherwise, on the street, you will definitely find your bumper dented. But it's not the accommodation's fault. It's just busy Spain.

I would define Umi House as an unconventional aparthotel. A friendly and helpful Chinese couple maintains it. It is in a quiet area of Alicante, slightly off the main commercial streets. The center can easily be reached by foot. Parking is not provided, but there are plenty of free parking spaces around, and public parking is just a coùpleo of minutes' walk from the facility. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay that I would recommend to people who prefer apartment to hotel room.

The property has no lift, and the stairs are very steep. However, I did not find that inconvenient.

It had everything we needed, very clean and bed super comfy! Owners kind, friendly and very helpful, well equipped, shower hot and powerful and nice towels. Shampoo and body wash provided, and hair dryer. Didn’t cook or use the kitchen in the end, but very handy to have and had everything you would have needed.

The location is a bit out of the main area, although that’s not a massive issue as we are big walkers - it might be too much for some. Would have liked more pillows as one for me isn’t enough :(

The location is quite good, there is a big shop and parking nearby, 15-20 minutes to the central beach (depending on the pace). The apartment is spacious, has all the cooking utensils, and AC + window blinds that help during the heat. Wi-Fi works great and the apartment is pretty quiet.

Maybe a small rug next to a door to collect some sand when coming back from the beach. Also the frying pan should be replace as the non-stick coating is peeling off and it's not quite safe to have it in a such condition.

Very clean, spacious and cozy apartment- has everything you may need when it comes to facilities,including a small terrace. It is also located in the quiet neighborhood, in a one-way street. Around 10 min walk from the city center, 7 min from the tram station and a couple of mins from the bus stops. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely revisit when back in Alicante.

Lovely spacious apartment, nicely decorated and well equipped. Bathroom was great, shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. Lola was absolutely lovely and let us store our luggage before we left. Check in was really easy.

Nothing really. Is a little way outside of centre of town but we enjoyed the walk in each day. It feels like a luxury apartment so it would be nice to have a king size double bed to go with everything else. Had a wonderful stay.
