Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) My recent stay at Hotel Cervantes in Alicante left me thoroughly impressed with the overall experience this charming hotel offers. The central location of Hotel Cervantes proved to be a significant advantage. Situated in the heart of Alicante, I had easy access to the city's main attractions, including the vibrant Old Town and the picturesque beaches. Everything I wanted to explore was within walking distance, making my visit both convenient and enjoyable.

The Wi-Fi connection in the room was a bit inconsistent. At times, the signal strength was weak, making it challenging to use the internet seamlessly

the location is excellent. the beds are comfortable with lovely clean sheets and towels. you go to the cafe which is part of the hotel for breakfast it's toast or croissant with freshly squeezed orange juice and lovely coffee or tea.

no kettle in room to make a drink.

Hotel Cervantes is a typical small Spanish Hotel,spotlessly clean with a safe in room and a small balcony on 3rd floor..Staff are friendly and helpful,the location is perfect right in the city center and 10 minutes from Marina,Castle Santa Barbara and beach and 5 from the main Rambla and Market banks and shopping.,.The cafe on site is perfect for coffee continental breakfast,lunch and snacks.€25 🚕 back to the airport for early am flights,...I shall return.

It's a good little 2* hotel in the centre of town and doesn't pretend to be anything else. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the room was cleaned thoroughly each morning. It is within walking distance of all the major museums, sea front, railway station and old town. The C6 airport bus stop is also close at hand. The double room we had was small and I would suggest booking a twin room instead. Due to its location it is noisy at night and the building is old with thin walls and noisy plumbing.

The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely efficient and friendly: sheets and towels were changed daily, the place was spotless, and the staff did their best to accommodate all my requests. It is also a good location, near the big Marketplace and a 10-minute walk from all the shopping districts and the promenade without the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Definitely a happy experience.

The building was old and the walls thin: one could hear the other guests in rooms and corridors and that often woke me up. The towels were rather worn, too, but clean.

THE STAFF WERE LOVELY, LIKE A NUMPTY I'D LEFT MY PASSPORT IN A HOTEL IN BENIDORM THE RECEPTIONIST CALLED THE HOTEL & THEY ALLOWED ME TO STAY ON THE BASIS THAT I HAD A PHOTOCOPY OF IT ALSO BECAUSE I HAD TO TRAVEL BACK TO GET IT I NEEDED TO LEAVE A DAY EARLY & THEY AGREAD TO REFUND ME FOR THAT NIGHT (THEY WERE NOT OBLIGED TO) THE RESTERAUNT THERE WAS VERY NICE AS WAS THE OUTDOOR SEATING SECTION OF IT & THE STAFF IN THE RESTERAUNT SUPER FREINDLY THE HOTEL IS IN A FAB LOCATION

THE ONLY LITTLE CHINK IN THE ARMOUR IS THE JACUZZI IS ADDITIONAL CHARGE BUT I'M NIT PICKING WOULD GOLD STAR RECOMEND THIS HOTEL

Basic but well kept, clean hotel with small but seems modern, renovated room. Equipped with all the nessessary things exept a fridge, what is a big disadvantage. Maybe thats why one of the cheapest hotel in Alicante. Reception stuff is kind, helpful. Location is really gond but the beach is 15-20minutes away.. But 5 minutes from airport bus, mercado, szupermarket, city centre. Breakfast in thr Coffee shop of the hotel in the hotel building.

No fridge. No sitting area at the lobby/No lobby/.. Breakfast is very simple, a cup of coffee/tea, small orange Juice, 1 cake.. The spot is usually veri crowded with residents. The breakfast stuff doesnt speak english.

The hotel is located in the very heart of the old centre and thus everything can be walked easily by foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room itself is not too spacious, but sitting on the balcony and looking down the busy road in the evening gives a holiday feeling. The public café in the basement offers good breakfast options in a local atmosphere - I recommend it.

The electricity transformer was humming a bit loudly, it should be checked regularly and replaced

Right in centre of old town, own parking but full when we arrived however public parking right next door to hotel. Spotlessly clean, nice young receptionist lad greeted us on arrival (Farlonde?) spoke good English. Room had a balcony to watch all life go by! Bathroom spotless and shower excellently powerful. Air con in room was effective, bed very comfy. Small room but perfectly adequate for us. Nice little cafe for breakfast in the morning, which was included in the very good price we paid. Two lovely tostadas and cx a great cup of coffee from lovely staff. All the staff were smiley and lovely. Despite being in the centre it wasn’t as noisy as it could’ve been. The balcony door was pretty sound proof along with the persiana being down. We did hear a few loud voices but it was pretty quiet. Sweet little hotel! Ooh and there was a lift too.

Nothing really

Excellent location just south of the Avenida Alfonso el Sabio (the main east-west commercial street), so only ten minutes' walk from the port, market, rail station etc. Friendly, efficient staff, and clean, comfortable rooms. Internet speed was decent.

It was as described, no complaints.
