The very first thing that struck us was the smile and warm welcome from Yolanda, the receptionist. She spoke excellent English as well as Spanish. The reception area is warm, welcoming and comfortable. Everywhere smelt fresh. Our room was decorated in white which suits our taste , the bed was firm and comfortable and the pillows were supportive and fluffy. The aircon/heating was easily controlled. The bathroom was clean( shining actually) and the shower had a non slip surface just like at home. The view from our window was very good. For future travellers take the time to go to the chill out area on the roof where the view is outstanding. The hotel is situated so well for exploring the town, the beach front and the castle.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was the one thing that spoilt our stay. It was not worth the 12€ charged.The bacon was undercooked, the scrambled eggs were dry with suspicious brown bits, sausages and tortilla were ok. The worst was all the hot breakfast was cold. There was only white bread for toast. Cold meats were ok. There were no instructions for pod type coffee maker. What a disappointment after a great one night stay at an exemplary hotel.

Excellent accommodation in a wonderfully convenient location, just a short walk from the marina but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. This is the second time we have stayed here. We had a superior 2 bed apartment and from the moment we stepped foot inside we were welcomed like old friends. The staff were superb at all times, making sure we were comfortable in all aspects. The apartment was well appointed and spotless; house-keeping followed our requests. The beds were very comfortable. There was a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast - the croissants were fab!

We would have liked a microwave and kitchen roll or a tea-towel in the room, but we coped!

The location was excellent, close to the beach and center. It was also quiet in the area. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with a great shower and it was clean. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The pool access is only for certain rooms. This was not very clear at booking time but it was a shame to have facilities limited. The breakfast was also quite expensive for what it was, although it was nice.

Probably the best venue that we have ever booked. We very often book hotels but wanted a bit more freedom this time so we booked this 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and sitting room. It was in a great location, very central and close to the beach. The staff were super friendly and the apartments were excellent. I would recommend this venue very highly and if we were to return to Alicante this is where we would book.

Very clean. There’s everything you need in the rooms. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There’s always someone at the reception to answer any questions. Room service/room cleaning - we tried not use it every day, but they came to clean every day. And after cleaning the room was shining again. So praise and respect to the workers. Breakfast didn’t have too many options, but everything that was there was freshly made and very tasty, which definitely made up for the fact that selection was limited. Location is ideal - a couple minutes walk to the streets with all the restaurants, a few more minutes to the center, beach is literally across the street.

I don’t think there’s anything we didn’t like. Maybe only the absence of a balcony. And when young groups came back to the rooms in the middle of the night, they made quite some noise which was very well heard. But this is not something really about the hotel itself.

Completely renovated 2 years ago, everything is spotless and works. The set up is primarily apartotel style, but they serve an adequate breakfast for 12 euro. Location is very convenient for beach, castle and old town. I would definitely recommend. Oh, and the reception staff are excellent.

Booking .com describe the hotel as having a rooftop pool. This is not a pool, as the property's own website makes clear, so this is no criticism of the property, but of Booking.com

The place is absolutely a gem in the centre of Alicante. Very close to all restaurants and shops, as well as the beach. The hotel is located in one of the more quiet streets, which really a benefit. The rooms are specious and very clean and the air-conditioning works very well. Breakfast was very good, a nice selection of food and fresh. And above all, the staff was extremely helpful and they supported us in every way possible. A big thank you to them. We really enjoyed staying here. We would definitely come back when in Alicante and recommend this place to other people.

The staff were absolutely incredible. So friendly and helpful. My son has severe allergies and the breakfast staff was incredibly accommodating, they went the extra mile every morning and made my son feel very safe. Thank you Yolanda in reception was super helpful and created a playful environment for my son, he loved the parachute in the stairs game, thank you! 24-hour reception desk with welcoming, attentive and very helpful staff. Location - just a couple of minutes' walk to Puerta del Mar as we took the C6 bus from/to Alicante airport. Good too to be in the old city centre with museums nearby and lots of places to eat. Our twin room on the fifth floor had a seating area. Great views of the Santa Barbara Castle and could also see a bit of the blue sea in between the buildings. Even better views on the hotel's roof terrace! Very comfortable beds. Great choice for the buffet breakfast served between 8.30-10.30 am. Staff very kindly organised breakfast for us earlier as we needed to leave the hotel at 8.00 am for our return flight.

Nothing - all made our stay perfect. Perhaps the white walls could do with some colourful paintings - but a personal view which we relayed to the staff!

Lovely staff on arrival. Able to hold our bags until checkin. Fabulous food at breakfast. Good selection and tasty too.

We were three adults and the third bed was a sofa bed in the same room as the double. It doesn't clearly state that this is the case. So was a bit disappointed seeing as we paid €250 a night. The pool is not open to all guests. We were able to use it but I think that was because we were out of season.
