Fantastic location, the room was very comfortable and clean. The view of the castle was lovely from the little balcony. The staff were also very lovely and accommodating. You can have a shower after checking out of your room, which I would imagine is very useful on a hot day if you have a late flight.

Not the hotels fault, but work was being done on the property next door, which meant there was banging and drilling from 7:30/8am in the morning for most of the day. We wouldn’t have minded so much if it started at around 10 as we were out by then but on holiday, we didn’t really enjoy being woken up early hours of the morning to lots of banging. The walls are also very thin, so could hear everything going on outside our door too.

Lovely hotel. Bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. I stayed for 4 nights and there was enough storage space for me as a solo traveler but it may not quite be enough if you’re travelling as a pair. The French doors overlooked the street and brought lots of light in but there were very thick curtains as well if you like the room to be dark for sleeping. The bathroom was lovely with very nice toiletries and plenty of towels. There was a small fridge, an electric kettle and the tea/coffee was replenished daily. Breakfast was taken in a lovely light filled room on the roof and was substantial with plenty of choice. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a luggage room where you can leave cases if not travelling until late in the day of departure and best of all there are two shower rooms and a small lounge area where you can freshen up & relax until you need to leave for the airport.

The bathroom had a fabulous rain head shower but sadly the water pressure was weak.

A charming stay in the heart of the old town Our room had the most amazing view over a beautiful church square. It was stylishly furnished, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The staff were fantastic. When we arrived with our bike boxes, they immediately offered help and found a safe place for us to store them overnight. They also gave us helpful tips on where to park—really thoughtful and welcoming. The hotel is perfectly located. We loved the area, and with just a short wander through the old town, we found everything from bars and restaurants to a gallery or two. It’s such a charming part of the city. We only stayed one night, but we’ll definitely be back—hopefully for longer next time!

The view from the terrace facing the basilica and fortress was excellent. The coffee facilities were very welcome and having a fridge was very good. We were also given chocolates for my birthday which was a pleasant surprise. The luggage room was also very good as we arrived early before check-in. The parking was also good and reasonably priced at 15 euro's per day for a busy city centre near the hotel.

There was refurbishment going on so no rooftop bar and smells of paint or glue from work going on downstairs from the terrace and the room was smaller than expected but we would book a superior room in future as we only booked a standard room.

Enjoyed my stay! The hotel has got an excellent location and amazing view from roof top bar. Also the breakfast tables set up every morning just for breakfast - at the beautiful church square, and it's stunning! Staff is extremely helpful, thank you all for your attention and help! I had to ask to extend my stay for 1 night, and they found the way to do this for me without moving my room. The actual size of the room wasn't big - but I think they are tiny little rooms in these historical buildings in old town of Alicante, anyway. I was on my own and happy with that, but if it could be a problem for you, ask before booking, and I am sure the lovely staff of the hotel will advise and find the solution.

The location was awesome, next to the Basilica and very close to all the attractions, bars, restaurants, beach's etc The bed was so comfortable, the view from room over the Basilica and Santa Barbara Castle was awesome as well, same thing from the roof tarrace. We had also book the breakfast buffe, and to eat that in the roof top terrace was amazing. You could also borrow beach umbrellas for free and also store your luggage for free before check in and also after your check out.

The elevator took for ever to pick you up, the shower was flooding because the drainage was probably clogged, did not get free water bottles every day, there was an annoying white light on the television that lit up the room during the night, it was also a strange that you couldn't choose the water pressure and warm or cold water separately, the more pressure you wanted the warmer the water became lol. But overall good value for the money.

Perfect location the Santa Barbara Basilica is right next door and the bell chimes were lovely to hear , just far enough from hustle and bustle ,, Art quarter, is beautiful, our room was not a great standard but we were moved no problem to another which was perfect , thanks Anel, great buffet breakfast on roof terrace , nice reception area , friendly staff.

I had upgraded to a superior room but it was very claustrophobic , and there was no where to plug in the kettle that was provided and when a member of staff tried to sort it out all the wires from the socket were exposed , which was a bit dangerous and they provided an extension which looked awful and they wanted us to pug the kettle in right next to the tv although the tea station was the other side of the room, i think this was a room that needs updating , as the rest of the hotel was perfect , we were moved so no problem

Fabulous location balcony door opened onto a lovely square opposite a beautiful church and a stones throw away from restaurants. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. There was a small fridge and a kettle in the room and a hairdryer. The front desk staff were super helpful. Unfortunately the outside terrace wasn't open as was a bit chilly but was still lovely in the inside part with that fabulous view of the castle. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay there again

It’s a small and cozy hotel right in the centre and close to the seaside. At the arrival, the shower in our room was leaking and Lindy flooding the bathroom. The staff immediately came to check the issue and promptly changed the room giving us an upgrade. Staff very polite.

The double bed is actually made with two single mattresses. Having at least a topper would be good. We didn’t request it because it was late evening but maybe the staff can get it if someone is asking for it. Overall mattresses, duvets and pillows were comfy.

The location was excellent. It was close enough to the beach and easy to walk into the city. The room was reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. The shower was a good size too. Some members of staff were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was very poor. Unfortunately, it rained whilst we were staying at this hotel....NOT obviously the hotel's fault... but it meant we couldn't eat on the outside terrace and there wasn't enough space indoors to sit down and have your breakfast !!! However, we only had breakfast on the first morning because the food was disgusting and inedible for us. You couldn't even get a decent cup of coffee or butter. The 'hot' food was terrible. Consequently, we didn't have breakfast at the hotel for the rest of our stay. We didn't sleep well due to a delivery/cleaning truck, outside the hotel, making an horrendous noise at 02.30 am.
