The apartment is in the city centre, very close to the cathedral. It was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The windows are double-glazed and there are wooden shutters, so there was no noise from outside during the night. Breakfast was included in the price, which was served next door at Madness Coffee. We arrived on a Sunday, when the reception was closed, but the instructions for gaining entry were very clear. Parking was at a discounted rate of 10.50€ per day in the car park on Rambla de Méndez Núñez, a walk of five minutes away.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The accommodation boasts a quiet and peaceful environment, allowing for a restful stay. My weekend stay at Luces de Catedral was simply delightful. The simplicity, coupled with the positive atmosphere and convenient location, made it a memorable experience.

Had some issues with Wifi connectivity and the functioning of the AC. No other issues as such.

Location fantastic, great value, we had 3 appartments, 9 women great space in each appartment, loved the decor, so convenient for a 3 night break, near lovely restaurants, small walk to the beach where we swam, castle nearby up on the hill, super views Overall we had a super weekend. Even though taxi from airport can’t drive you to the door of accommodation as there is no traffic in the old town, the drop off stop was very convenient thank you will return some day

We had breakfast next door in madness cafe food was gorgoues, cool place. We sat a big table 2 mornings but staff were very nice but they way of service was a little frustrating but in saying all that the food was great

Excellent apartment style accommodation at the heart of the old town. The room is modern and has all the facilities. A few encounter with the staff was super nice. The breakfast is in the next door kafe. It's not buffet, but you choose from a few different menu options and the food is good and plenty. Lots of restaurants around and seven minutes walk to the beach. The Airport bus is just five minutes away. Highly recommended.

I have two small suggestions. The first is about the soap provided in the bathroom, they give two small soaps for hand wash and two tiny bottles of liquid soap for shower. This system of soap is old and it is highly uncomfortable to use. Where will you keep the hard soaps on the basin? I strongly suggest to install locked soap dispensers both at wash basin and at shower. My second suggestion is about the floor cleaning. If you come from the beach then the floor will obviously be sandy. Though they clean the room every day but I have not seen them using a vacuum cleaner. And that's why the floor will remain sandy for the whole stay after you visit the beach. I suggest to use a vacuum cleaner. These are very small comments for perfection. In general, this is a super nice place to stay.

The overall support and service of the Hotel staff was outstanding. Room service left our room superclean. We were supported at the hotel but also via Whatsapp almost at every time of the day with all our questions, Restaurant tipps and support to get an airport transport. Breakfast next door at a coffe roastary was very good and also affordable.

We were there in February and the old town is already crowdy, it was already very loud in the evening and impossible to sleep with open windows. I could imagine in the summer that might be a problem. On the other hand you are in the middle of a nice and crowdy place, sourrounded by everything you need. The stay is not at the very touristic corners where bachelor partys take place, so still nice for families.

This is fantastic accommodation right in the heart of Alicante. It's location is perfect - a stones throw from many bars, restaurants, the beach, and main attractions. We used the underground car park which is literally a 5 minute walk and roughly around €13.50 a day. The apartments are spacious, light, comfortable, and very cleverly provided with everything you'd need to self-cater if you so desired. The bathroom is private, and the shower was amazing! Alex was very welcoming and helpful, especially in giving us indicators as to what to see and visit. The breakfast was served in a gorgeous cafe right next door called 'Madness' and was perfectly ample for a day of sightseeing. Alicante is an amazing city, and this accommodation is exceptional. We were lucky to visit and stay during Holy Week, so we had a birds eye view of the processions below our balcony. Would definitely return! Thank you x

Nothing to dislike! In hindsight, - I'd have taken some of our own coffee and milk. There is a fridge in the appartment. A kettle is provided, and so is a Delonghi coffee machine but the coffee pods provided didn't fit the machine. Do like a cup of coffee when I wake up! My bad - should've gone prepared.

Central location Very clean Nice size room Good service and friendly service. All you needed in the apartment. Good value for money.

Very noisy at night from people in the street, local restaurants clearing tables and chairs from the street. From Monday and every other night - bins being cleared and road sweeper/ cleaning trucks took place between 1.30 - 4.00am. We did request a quiet room. We stayed 7 nights. Was very noisy.

This apartment is situated in the middle of the old town and 5 minutes walk in all directions to most of the bars, restaurants, marina and even entrance to Alicante Castle; the main shopping area is about a 10 minute stroll on flat paths etc. Parking is available at a public underground car park about 3 minutes walk away and, with hotel discount, is about €10 per day. The room etc was excellent and spotlessly clean but the location is the best part. The welcome we had at reception was exceptionally friendly and warm and we really did feel appreciated. Access to all rooms are wheelchair friendly and all accessible via a lift.

It took us a minute or two to locate the entrance (via black iron gates - see photo below) until we saw a sign on the wall. We stayed in mid December and the only property heating is air con, despite having the thermostat set to high we found the room cool - NOT cold. The building is all stone therefore sound travels and you can hear other guests move around etc. The sound did not bother us but you need to be aware of it if you are noise aware etc.

Great location in the middle of the old town, right in the thick of things with bars, restaurants and shops literally on the doorstep. Good sized room and ideal for a short stay.

Minor complaint really, very stingy with the coffee and toiletries. The room had a Krups Coffee Machine but with the two pods supplied in the room on checking in were never replenished during our five night stay. Luckily there is an amazing coffee shop next door! Same with the shower gel. Given the price you’d expect a daily top up for a morning coffee the next day!

I loved everything! The size of the room was great, we had everything we needed and more than in a regular hotel room - incl. AC, a fridge and a little kitchen corner. The staff was extremely friendly, breakfast in the Madness cafe downstairs included in the price was delicious. And of course the location - right in the middle of Alicante, close to restaurants, museums, cafes and with a 5-min walk to the beach.

For those who do not like noises - it's in the middle of the city - so there is quite a big noise when you open a balcony. However you can keep the windows shut and you hear nothing. I slept like a baby. Maybe the bed could be a bit bigger.
