Everything was fab!! A beautiful 17th century hotel retaining some original features and some more modern touches. Our room was lovely with a little internal balcony. The bathroom has everything you could need including toiletries and hairdryer. One thing I find with some city hotels is lack of storage but that wasn't the case here, baskets and a table in the bathroom. Plus hanging storage space (although I would recommend taking some extra hangers, which is what I did after reading the reviews) and some drawers. I would still like bedside drawers but you can't have everything! Full length mirror in the bathroom and great mirror over sink with good lighting. Free soft drinks topped up daily. Breakfast is served in the beautiful cafe next door. A really lovely selection served to your table, including toast, a variety of meats/cheeses, croissants, jam, yogurt with fruit plus tea or coffee and orange juice. Doesn't change though, we were there just three nights so it was fine, longer you may prefer more variety. This is our 6th visit to Alicante and we stay somewhere different each time, but I have a very good feeling that we will be returning!!

The lady in the cafe was quite strict!! She wanted you to sit exactly where she said and if you order an Americana you can't have milk with it!! The cafe con leche is very small, which is why I ordered the Americano. It was very nice coffee though.😊 Lack of non slip mat in bathroom, as it was a slippy floor. And as previously mentioned more hangers would be helpful.

The property is a beautiful building very traditional and the decor is fab . Our room was 201 next to the lift but we never heard a thing it was very quiet . The room was so warm and cosy and the tv was excellent in the evening to watch a film . The staff are very nice especial on the reception desk ! The location is excellent a very short walk to the harbour and all the restaurants you could wish for . The bed is amazing so comfy We will definitely be back . !

If I could say anything it would be for coffee making facilities but that really is the only thing I can think off .

we arrived in our car, and it was quite a job navigating to the hotel in the middle of the city, so a great relief when the hotel staff parked our car for us, 15€ per day , then brought our car smack to us, when departing. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, 17th century refurbished to a very high standard and every little detail thought of through out, the owners have updated this hotel 6 years ago. I would definitely return as you couldn't ask for a better place to be bang right in the middle of all the bars/ restaurants and shops. the staff were all very helpful, bottles of water on arrival and free soft drinks in your fridge in your room. the rooms cleaned daily and towels and drinks changed and filled. we opted for breakfast, which was a set menu of: small portion of omelette (scrambled egg) in Spanish, toast, fruit and yogurt, orange juice, ham/cheese, cake and tea/coffee all susuperbly served in their lovely dining area. I think if your not a hotel guest we noticed the breakfast menu is different!

nothing major, definitely another bin needed in the bedroom as only a small bin in the bathroom. my pillow was very lumpy I think might have needed replacing.

Stunning property and very centrally located . I was worried as I’m a light sleeper but asked for a quiet room and slept very well . Roof terrace was fabulous . Hotel smelt beautiful and was decorated very tastefully . Great sized room . Free soft drinks in the mini fridge and La’ Occitane products were a nice touch . Breakfast in the adjoining and beautiful cafe was also wonderful .

Can’t say there was anything to really dislike . I would say as a couple that our preference would be for a proper double bed rather than two singles pushed together . Couple of touches could be added like hooks for wet towels ( there was none ) and waste basket in the room but only minor things . Will definitely return

The hotel is beautiful inside and has been converted wonderfully. It was like a step back in time when you enter the lobby, i imagined a scene from three musketeers sword fighting up the stone staircase! The hotel is in a wonderful location close to bars and restaurants, the main promenade and the beach. It was a lovely break for my wife and I and we would definitely return.

The location is just perfect in an amazing building. Staff are nice I would suggest not to say the room number outloud and just to point it out and mention the floor. Great amenities in the room specially the dressing gown. I would recommed it to a friend as a different and original hotel to stay.

Walls are too thin and it can be hard to sleep specially if the guest next door is snoring too loud. I checked about getting another room but I was explained in a kind way by the night receptionist (Pedro if I am not wrong) that it was not possible. I missed having a kettle or an instant coffee machine although the water plus pop drinks in the mini bar are included and that's a bonus.

This little hotel is in the perfect location, right in the middle of the old part of Alicante. The staff were absolutely charming, and so was the owner, who we met by chance the next day, outside the hotel. It is also in the perfect position for visiting the Fine Arts Museum 🎨 😊 For us the big advantage is that they park your car for you, and bring it back to you when you need it. We will definitely stay here again.

There was nothing that we didn't like - it was everything we needed.

Everything was great, hotel is beautiful, staff is super friendly. There is a really nice terrace on the roof where they treated us with a bottle of cava which was really nice of them. Big recommendation and we will definitely come again.
