We booked the room with the terrace and city view and it was amazing! The room is spacious(enough for us two), clean and modern. They cleaned the room everyday and they have an option to change the towels how you like (on the floor = change, on the hanger = leave them). We even stumbled upon a gay parade, we were on the third floor and let me tell you the terrace door had amazing soundproffing! The AC was on during out entire stay, the minifridge had some drinks but there was room for our stuff too. The room even had a kettle and a few complimentary coffee and tea bags. No breakfast but there is a supermarket maybe 10m from the hotel and a lot of cute shops, breakfast spots and fast food restaurants All in all, worth the money!

Great 2 star hotel, worth an extra star in our opinion. The staff at the reception are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned and tidied every day. Really great. The room with two beds with great mattresses, balcony and view of the castle on the 6th floor is recommended. On the right side a view of the marina. The rooms look nice with patio doors that are absolutely soundproof. Room equipped with air conditioning and blackout curtains. Sea, old town, Esplanade, public transport all between 25 meters and 300 meters away. In short, this hotel is recommended and we will definitely come back.

This 2 star hotel just perfect if you want to stay in the middle of city, its is nerby for everything. There are everything what you need in the room, kettle, fridge, air-conditioning, , heating etc. My room was very clean and nice with balcony. . Only one thing what I didn’t like it , the bed was too soft, but for few days I can survive! It was not noicy even if it is in the centre ! Jose, the guy in the reception was super nice person, I liked him very much, he helped me in all and I want to say a big thank you for him!!!! 🙏🏼😌❤️ He made my staying rhere better, too! I would offer for everyone!!!! 😊

The location of Méndez Núñez is excellent for a stay in Alicante. You’re in centre of all you need with the promenade and harbour almost within sight. The room was clean and well appointed with a good shower and lovely balcony overlooking the street. Everything was very clean and fresh , and we got a great welcome and good advice when we had questions about the area.

I’d like to see Netflix working. I’m not able for health reasons to stay out late or for long so would be great to have that or something like it in various languages.

Excellent location in Alicante City Centre. Just 100 Metres from the sea front and Marina, and maybe 400 Metres to the beach. We got a good room on the 4th floor with a small balcony overlooking the street and it was very quiet. Room was clean and modern but not large. Hotel does have a reception but doesnt have any other facilities such as Bar/Restaurant/Breakfast Facilities.

They strongly encourage you to do the online checkin before you arrive but the process is a bit fiddly on a mobile phone.

The location close to the center, esplanade and the beach. Well spent extramoney for the room with balcony, not only for the view, but very good "double" street soundproofing during the night. And not at least the nice friendly staff :)

Even the "do not disturb" sign was hanged on the door, a tech team got into the room to service the neighbours aircondition unit. The reception could coordinate and call in advance to ask for permision.

The location. Mendez Nunez is right on Rambla St, City Centre. There is absolutely everything around and only an 8 minute walk from the C6 bus stop. Which is right at the beach! To complete my booking, I had to get in touch with the hotel, did it through the booking.com app and the staff were back to me in minutes. For what I paid, I had the less expensive room, no breakfast option, but I popped in to McDonald's for this, it's cheaper and just a the bottom of the street on the esplanade. My room was smallish, but it had a great double bed, very comfy, large wardrobe and a safe. The shower was good too. TV, heating and cooling. The staff were friendly and helpful and available 24 hrs. For a mini break, this hotel and the room I had, is excellent and I would definitely go back.

Probably just the window. I had the inner courtyard view, it's not much to look at and I kept the curtain closed most time. (I was out the room most of the time anyway :) )

Great location right on the Ramblas with easy walking distance to all major attractions - old town, castle, promenade etc. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No Parking - the hotel has an arrangement with a local public car park 10 minutes away at a reduced rate 10.50 Euros for 24 hours, but the car park is horrendously tight with almost no space between cars. I got out without a scratch but wouldn't risk it again. The room was heated by the air conditioning but the remote had been doctored so it was impossible to select 'heating' at any temperature below 23 degrees? Too hot! (January 2024) As such we had to turn it off for the night which made the room cool -an extra blanket would have been useful.

This hotel is just amazing! The location was right off of the Rambla with everything so close. So clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and great.

There was one lady working there that acted like a complete jerk because I needed a roll of toilet paper.

Unbeatable location right in the middle of everything. There was no breakfast option, but there is a small fridge in the room so I just bought some stuff at a supermarket nearby. Everything in the room (except the mattress) seemed very new, and the a/c unit worked very well. I'd really recommend spending a little more and getting one of the rooms with an outside view, because the cheaper ones only have a window into a central shaft with a lot of noisy a/c units, and it also smells pretty bad there.

My room faced the street, so I expected a lot of street noise but it wasn't too bad. I woke up a few times a night, but it was ok. The walls were really thin, however. I heard the people in the next room all the time. The bed appears to have a memory foam mattress, but it had really sunk down in the middle so it was very uncomfortable. I had to try to sleep on the edges of the mattress.
