Great 2 star hotel, worth an extra star in our opinion. The staff at the reception are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned and tidied every day. Really great. The room with two beds with great mattresses, balcony and view of the castle on the 6th floor is recommended. On the right side a view of the marina. The rooms look nice with patio doors that are absolutely soundproof. Room equipped with air conditioning and blackout curtains. Sea, old town, Esplanade, public transport all between 25 meters and 300 meters away. In short, this hotel is recommended and we will definitely come back.

This 2 star hotel just perfect if you want to stay in the middle of city, its is nerby for everything. There are everything what you need in the room, kettle, fridge, air-conditioning, , heating etc. My room was very clean and nice with balcony. . Only one thing what I didn’t like it , the bed was too soft, but for few days I can survive! It was not noicy even if it is in the centre ! Jose, the guy in the reception was super nice person, I liked him very much, he helped me in all and I want to say a big thank you for him!!!! 🙏🏼😌❤️ He made my staying rhere better, too! I would offer for everyone!!!! 😊

Excellent location in Alicante City Centre. Just 100 Metres from the sea front and Marina, and maybe 400 Metres to the beach. We got a good room on the 4th floor with a small balcony overlooking the street and it was very quiet. Room was clean and modern but not large. Hotel does have a reception but doesnt have any other facilities such as Bar/Restaurant/Breakfast Facilities.

They strongly encourage you to do the online checkin before you arrive but the process is a bit fiddly on a mobile phone.

The location. Mendez Nunez is right on Rambla St, City Centre. There is absolutely everything around and only an 8 minute walk from the C6 bus stop. Which is right at the beach! To complete my booking, I had to get in touch with the hotel, did it through the booking.com app and the staff were back to me in minutes. For what I paid, I had the less expensive room, no breakfast option, but I popped in to McDonald's for this, it's cheaper and just a the bottom of the street on the esplanade. My room was smallish, but it had a great double bed, very comfy, large wardrobe and a safe. The shower was good too. TV, heating and cooling. The staff were friendly and helpful and available 24 hrs. For a mini break, this hotel and the room I had, is excellent and I would definitely go back.

Probably just the window. I had the inner courtyard view, it's not much to look at and I kept the curtain closed most time. (I was out the room most of the time anyway :) )

Great location right on the Ramblas with easy walking distance to all major attractions - old town, castle, promenade etc. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No Parking - the hotel has an arrangement with a local public car park 10 minutes away at a reduced rate 10.50 Euros for 24 hours, but the car park is horrendously tight with almost no space between cars. I got out without a scratch but wouldn't risk it again. The room was heated by the air conditioning but the remote had been doctored so it was impossible to select 'heating' at any temperature below 23 degrees? Too hot! (January 2024) As such we had to turn it off for the night which made the room cool -an extra blanket would have been useful.

Unbeatable location right in the middle of everything. There was no breakfast option, but there is a small fridge in the room so I just bought some stuff at a supermarket nearby. Everything in the room (except the mattress) seemed very new, and the a/c unit worked very well. I'd really recommend spending a little more and getting one of the rooms with an outside view, because the cheaper ones only have a window into a central shaft with a lot of noisy a/c units, and it also smells pretty bad there.

My room faced the street, so I expected a lot of street noise but it wasn't too bad. I woke up a few times a night, but it was ok. The walls were really thin, however. I heard the people in the next room all the time. The bed appears to have a memory foam mattress, but it had really sunk down in the middle so it was very uncomfortable. I had to try to sleep on the edges of the mattress.

The location is excellent. The hotel is on the main Rambla with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars all within reach. 5 mins walk from the beach and close to bus stops and trains. Room was nice and clean, a good size for 2 with the lovely added addition of a balcony. A/C worked really well which was needed :)

The signage for the hotel. As it's on a main street, it was quite difficult to find as the trees were blocking the sign. We and other guests walked by it several times when looking to check in. Even though it is very central, I didn't realise that there was no bar or restaurant. Sometimes it's nice to just grab a drink/coffee or a snack if you're having a lazy day.

The room was exceptional, everything very well thought out. Very comfortable with a super powerful shower. We had a very good night's sleep. Complementary water bottles and a minibar with very reasonable prices.

It perfectly matched our needs and there is nothing to grumble about. We will seek it out every time we are in Alicante. Only thing I can think of to improve it for me would be a coffee maker or kettle.

Excellent location - close to the beach, to the city center and to bars and restaurants. Clean room with all the required facilities. Special thanks for the warm welcome from the receptionist who received us with a smile long after midnight, making us feel like home. Our hotel of choice whenever visiting Alicante.

There's absolutely nothing to dislike here. Always coming back with pleasure.

The location was excellent, The hotel is on the main Rambla with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, The old town and Market are all within easy reach and it's about 5 mins walk from the beach, also close to bus stops and trains. The airport bus stops near to the hotel. The room was quiet and very clean, the hotel reception staff were also very helpful.

It took us quite a long time to find the hotel as we couldn't' see any signage, we walked past a few times, as the entrance is just a small lobby off the main road with signage on the glass door. We personally would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room. Otherwise we found nothing not to like.
