Breakfast was great, first time I’ve seen fried eggs a choice. If you want more than a slice of toast just pay the 13 euros and go for the full buffet. Superb selection all nicely cooked. Coffee is one of those pick an option electric machines into a small cup but in full buffet you can have as much as you like if everything. Quality justifies it, even for those not “tanking up” for the day. Location worked for me as an intermediate stop, it was an overnight dip and kip, so I can’t offer a guide to the town and its attractions

City centre location on a busy road. Modern hotel. Very clean . All the staff were great. Breakfast was great too and we had a very good evening meal in the bar/restaurant. Secure underground parking cost 10 euros. The room was lovely, with a massive comfortable bed. Separate bathroom with shower and bidet. The only quibble was the room was very hot at night and the air con wasn’t working because the hotel had disabled it as it was mid November and I guess they don’t think people want it at this time of year? We had to open the window which meant very energetic flys were in our room, and we were disturbed by the noise of the traffic. But overall very good and good value

This hotel was selected for a one night stopover on our journey, its a large hotel with parking available at an extra charge of course and is located underneath the hotel with a very steep way out. The recptionist was friendly and knowledgable. We got an upgrade and the room was lovely with extra items like slippers,a shoe horn and shoe cleaning kit on offer as well as a mini bar,but the best thing was the comfortable bed. We tend not to have breakfast as my partner is Gluten Free and this can be a problem as not kuch is available and if it is it tends to be defrosted bakery items. We ate in the hotel restaurant at night.

Just getting our Motorbike out of the garage was difficult.

Centrally located with all facilities for a stopover. Swimming pool a great addition. Great bar/ restaurant with great staff offering a wide variety of food and drinks.

We didn’t like that the reception staff didn’t seem the happiest or helpful, the breakfast is served later on a weekend as we had to depart and forfeit breakfast. It was very noisy in the morning with residents returning at 5am from a night out. Was a bit pricey we thought compared to other places we have stayed.

The location, the room is clean, and all the amenities have been thoughtfully catered for. The staff in all areas very polite and respectful.

The food needs improvement. My club sandwich was not made properly, not cut, not toasted well, so the bread was limp, big piece of chicken on one part of the sandwich. No sauces were provided by the side. The chicken soup was a chicken broth, watery and not much of chicken flavour. They charge you a good amount for it.

The staff spoke english and went out of thier way to accomdate. We left the morning before the nationwide electrical outage and went to Lisbon for business. In lisbon we learned about the electrical outage and after 3 hours called the hotel. They agreed to accomodate our retrun. The staff had many headaches as result of the outage. They took measures to accomodate us depsite the handicops imposed. Hats off to the nightmanager. The breakfast and dining area are excellent.

Location, we were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost, food was good in the hotel, free parking in the street behind the hotel, 15/20 minutes walk to the main area, 25 minutes to the castle, you can walk the full walls of the castle and it's free

Although we had a lovely stay, the hotel is looking a little tired, the drain plug in the bath/shower wouldn't work, it took hours to drain, that wouldn't stop me going back,

We were celebrating my wife's birthday on a trip around Spain and stayed here for one night. During our stay, the bar staff sent a bottle of wine to our room, along with a lovely letter from the Hotel Manager, which was a wonderful gesture. The evening meal was beautiful and the service from the staff was excellent. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. with excellent facilities. We will definitely return to this hotel - it is superb.

I stayed at the Hotel Badajoz Centre during a thirty day road trip through France & Spain. The hotel offered safe and secure parking for my car and good facilities with a swimming pool, spacious restaurant and bar area. My room was well appointed, clean and with a very comfortable bed. I took the half board option for my two night stay, which was excellent value for money. There was a good choice at breakfast and the evening meal was good. Overall, Badajoz was a very interesting place to visit, lots of history and not far from Portugal. The Hotel Badajoz Centre was a pleasant base and would defiantly recommend

Nothing of note

The hotel was well situated close to bars and shops and a 15 min walk from the old town. The hotel was well appointed and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and as we had missed our breakfast on the 1st morning of our 2 day stay, they gave us a free breakfast in the bar! The hotel had plenty of parking and were doing a deal for it if you booked breakfast. However, there was also free parking directly behind the hotel should you wish to use it.

The only thing that we didn't like was the breakfast on the 2nd morning. Whilst there was plenty of choice of hot and cold breakfast items to choose from. These included fruit, yoghurts, ham, cheese, croissants etc and a couple of coffee machines that you could help yourself from, the hot items, bacon, eggs, sausages etc were under power and like warm at best.
