The reception and bar staff were so friendly and remembered what my daughter wanted to drink every time, even remembering our room number each time

Some of the dining room staff were quite rude snatching the spatulas and putting them back where they clearly like them to be, the location is very remote, no taxis, no park for the kids, there was a stony beach next to the hotel. Being a bit early in the season not much to do in the hotel

The selection and quality of food during breakfast and dinner were immensely good! The ambiance of the hotel appears new, refurbished, and clean. The staff at the reception seemed to have all the major languages covered. They have a rooftop with an amazing view on the sea and island. Lastly, the shuttle to/from the hotel was very smooth.

The Wi-Fi was a little slow sometimes. Other than that, there was a slight confusion when we went to the restaurant for the first time whether or not we had to check in with somebody, where we could sit or order drinks but we figured it out pretty quickly.

Very Clean food very good plenty of variety food wasn’t as hot as I personally like but other than that very good staff were the best I have experience all staff from domestics to management were so friendly and helpful bar staff and catering staff went out if their way to help you and so polite lovely with the children the child entwined Maurice was perfect with both adults and children very patient and friendly the children loved him

My only complaint is there should be a games room for the older children and a play area for the younger children that would of made it my perfect holiday and hotel

Comfy rooms & beds, stunning sea views, nice & quiet (but it was out of season). The options of food was outstanding! I am a vegan with intolerances and the selection of milks, cereals and food for breakfast was amazing! I really appreciate the labelling and attentive nature of staff who are more than happy to check on the packets if they are unsure of allergens. I normally worry about food when travelling and except I may need to seek options out but I am very happy to report I came back heavier than when I arrived! :D Staff were so accommodating and friendly, and their fluency in multiple languages makes for a very smooth and welcoming service and an enjoyable stay! There was evening entertainment of two singers who were both very good and I understand it is even harder to perform to an empty room, purely due to lack of guests staying, but they were very professional and friendly. The price of the rooms and the additions of half-board or all inclusive was very impressive and the whole trip only cost two of us for 2 days £160 including flights to the island!

Dining hall could do with a drinks menu to view options and compare prices, but the waitstaff are fantastic and so kind. I have no other suggestions or qualms but I need to meet the word limit haha!

Clean, freshly refurbished. Breakfast had a good selection. Great staff.

Gymnasium was non existent. One spin bike and a weight bench with no weights. Very disappointing. The ‘premium’ beds that you hire at the sea front are not premium as anyone can go on the pontoon, including Spanish locals who aren’t part of the hotel.

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly, they allowed us to take a shower ahter check-out in the afternoom, that was very kind.

The only disturbing thing was an unpleasent smell, wich came from the salt lake not far away - but this is momething the hotel can not do anything.

I had a fantastic stay at Universal Romantica Hotel. The service was top-notch, and the staff were super friendly. The location is perfect, not too close from town centre - in a very quiet area - and only 6 minutes away from the closest beach. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

The omelettes during breakfast were amazing. The cook who made them was incredibly talented.

Hotel had everything needed. There was nothing concrete to complain. However decorations and ambiance were quite outdated. Feeling was to be back in the 70s.

You do not have access to drinking water during dinner and you have to buy... No double beds but single that they put together

To me this hotel should be 4 starts and not 3! :) We asked for all inclusive package. The food choice was amazing. The service was great. The room was perfect size and very comfortable for a long staying. We will definitely go back. The people who work at this hotel have real service vocation, totally recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to have a relaxing and family friendly environment.
