Location, clean and friendly staff

Hotel doesn’t accept visitor inside the rooms, my friends have to wait in a small lobby, and I paid for a double room.

After arriving in Barcelona to a fake Airbnb booking, we made a booking for this hotel at the very last minute and arrived within 30mins. The hotel is located in a side street off La Rumbla- ideal location, very central and less than a 5 minute walk to the closest metro station. The local market is also only a couple of minutes walk away and perfect if you like fresh juice and fruit! Endless options of places to eat and a supermarket very close nearby. We had a small issue with our room which was very quickly rectified by the staff who were very helpful and accomodating. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others!

The room that we asked for was for double bed and the hotel gave us a small room with a small double bed. Because of the amall size of the double bed and the small room we asked for a bigger room with a bigger bed or two single beds. Thus we were transfered to a bigger room with two single beds. It was very clean and great location. The staff was very good and helpful. Also although there was no breakfast available, a microwave, glasses and plates were available at the first floor in case you want to prepare your own breakfast which was great.

This hotel is very well located. 2 minutes walk to Piazza Catalunya, public transport (buses, trains, etc). There are several restaurants, cafes and stores on the same street. A very quiet street at night yet close to everything. The hotel is kept clean with daily cleanings. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The AC was not cold enough and they kept scheduling power out periods. I also think the price charged is higher than it should be for a hotel that offers nothing but a room to stay. The stairs were quite steep and could be actually very dangerous. There is only one small elevator and in case of a need for a quick evacuation, those stairs could be dangrous and even fatal if someone was to fall.

Spotlessly clean. Excellent location, in Bari Gotic, but only 4 min from Plaza Catalunya, so easily assessable to rest of the city, & all forms of transit. In a busy area, but on a quieter side street, minimal noise issues, even though it's city center. Grocery stores, Mercat Boqueria, pharmacies, gadget stores, department stores, La Catedral, within 5 min walk. Cafes outside the front door. Has the rare mini-fridge in-room, they usually have a spare kettle on hand, & a shared, clean, microwave.

The wifi on the 4th fl. could be a bit spotty at times, called front desk (only 4x in 13 days) to re-set router, & it was fixed immediately. No worse than my wifi at home!

The hotel room was a little small, but really fine for my friend and I. It was sparkling clean and appeared renovated. You could not ask for a better location. I would definitely go back.

Really nothing wasn’t to our liking.

The desk clerk saw our suitcases when we checked in and gave us the option to choose a different room with twin beds rather than a queen size one to give us more room. We appreciated that courtesy. She was very helpful.

The opportunities for improvement are - there was no in room coffee maker or water heater. There was no breakfast at the hotel but many cafes in the area. The building is very old since it is in the gothic district so there were some odd window configurations one of which was open in the hallway outside our room and the one in our bathroom didn’t latch properly.

The location is phenomenal. Just off La Rambla and a short walk from the Placa de catalunya, so convenient for the Gothic Quarter, the metro (which gets you to all the sightseeing places you need and also the beach) and even the airport bus. The staff are really helpful. If you need a taxi booking, recommendations for things, directions, they were more than ready to help. The hotel also has luggage storage so if you have a late flight you can leave your bags after check out to have one last explore. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but I thought this was a plus as there were a few lovely cafes on that street to grab a coffee and croissant, or even a cooked breakfast at, that I wouldn't have gone to if I was eating breakfast at the hotel. If you feel like going further afield the Boqueria market is less than a 10 minute walk away. I didn't miss not having it available in the hotel

Check out time was 12 but the cleaner wanted to come in at 10:30 when I was still packing. Didn't like feeling rushed on my last day

It has a wonderful location, couldn't be more convenient for a tourist: next to La Rambla, close to the cathedral, a short walk to Passeig de Gracia and the Gaudí houses there, and a short walk to the Picasso Museum and Santa Maria del Mar as well. The room had a balcony where we could watch the street and where my mother could smoke.

There was no breakfast option, only a modest coffee machine on one of the floors.

The location is extraodinary. It is close to the commercial center, the university, as well as tourist attractions. The neighbor is so lively, with numerous excellent restaurants within 10-minute's walk. The staff of reception and cleaning are super friendly and polite. The room is simple and functional. Besides, the WiFi is super high speed.

The soundproofing is not very good. The room is not very clean, especially the paper roll container with a small insect at the beginning. The room facilities can be improved by increasing power sockets and a trash bin.
