Our stay at Exe Plaza Catalunya was absolutely wonderful – this hotel exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel: from the delicious jamón to the fresh-pressed juices, everything was of exceptional quality. A water kettle in the room made it easy to enjoy a cup of tea in between outings – such a thoughtful touch. The shower was large, modern, and spotless. Speaking of which, the entire hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. Our room on the 7th floor offered a lovely view, but the real highlight was the rooftop terrace on the 10th floor – breathtaking, both by day and night. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of the city, with everything just a short walk away. But what really stood out were the incredible staff. Every team member we encountered was warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were always happy to answer our questions and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see. One moment, in particular, deserves special mention: after we had already left the hotel, the front desk called to let us know that my mother’s ID had been found in the room. Thanks to their quick action, we were able to return and pick it up without any hassle. Truly excellent service! Thank you, Exe Plaza Catalunya, for a fantastic experience – we would absolutely stay again.

Room was a bit small. It appeared out the back window that the hotel had an empty lot. The hotel behind it had a swimming pool (just an idea).

Excellent location. .couldn’t get better . Next to hop on hop off , taxi rank , restaurants , flamingo dancing , bars etc . Wonderful clean and modern rooms . Will return .

Sadly no ice available . Hopefully a short term problem . No English TV news channels or any English Channels Reception staff excellent, with exception of doorman . Will watch an old lady ( mother in law ) struggle with heavy cases and do nothing . Will watch my wife too struggle and not lift a finger . Leaves a very very sour taste and we all wonder why he has not been trained to assist especially the older and frail guests .

We arrived late because our flight was delayed and we were very tired, but the moment we arrived at exe plaza everything was amazing. first the upgrade our room so we got the room at the highest floor and the view from there was breath-taking, you can see all the center of barcelona and just sit and eat breakfast in the amazing balcony. the staff was super nice and help us in our first day in barcelona. theres also a parking whoch is very important if you travel by car because theres no way to find a free parking in this area.

It was located in a nice street and the room had a good view. The bed and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. The room was decorated very simply, but with good quality. We had a very good stay.

AC was fundamental to keep the room temperature. The dryer of the towels burned our swimsuits (as they were made of synthetic materials), we couldn’t regulate the heat and there was no warning not to put anything else than towels on it. We hope that in the future such label will be placed there.

Very good location, close to everything and room is very good and clean.

When first checked in the staff that checked us in was pretty rude, felt like she didn’t want us to be speaking to her. Made me feel pretty uncomfortable staring I had got the “basic room” as if that was the worst thing I could possibly get.

Staff - Very Friendly in general Room - Comfortable in general (had noise issue though) Location - is great and close to many places.

Breakfast - had limited hot food (primary scrambled eggs). Also, breakfast offerings were identical everyday. No Ice machine in entire hotel (so you can't get ice anywhere in the property (very unusual for a 4 star hotel). Room - Street noise is an issue at least in our floor (3rd floor). I felt I was sleeping on the street.

Exe Plaza Catalunya location was excellent, few minutes to Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla street , shopping around. You can get the metro from here to every where around zone 1. Buses are available for you to get around city. The hotel staffs are high level, very friendly . Recommend you to stay in the hotel for a holiday

TV need to be updated with English Channel & isolation between two rooms needs to be replaced I can hear the noises from another room

Location is perfect, 1 min from Placa de Catalunya. Room is clean. Bathroom is spacious.

The hotel is in an excellent location very close tomorrow Placa de Catalunya. The reception staff and the doorman were very helpful, friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good.

My single room was quite small with a chair that did not fit between the bed and desk. I found the room temperature was too hot at night but I could not find any controls to reduce it. The bathroom was clean but looked tired and in need of refurbishment.
