The staff was amazing (especially Jasmine - very friendly). We really enjoyed the size of the bed and the covers. Hairdryer was also good of quality. Breakfest and coffee was always an awaited morning ritual. Great interior.

Only a couple of things. Firstly (and the hotel is not at fault here, but it should be mentioned), the hotel is in a quarter that has some, well, not so clean people around it and coming back late to the hotel can be sometimes unpleasent. Secondly, for people who come to the hotel for the first time, a bigger sign could be at the entrance since it can be harder to find, especially after dark.

Hotel is located in a great area by Placa Reial, in the Gothic district, and just off Las Ramblas. Unfortunately, it’s off the major street and not obviously visible. The place is designed in a modern style and management is presently looking to improve with upgrades to the common areas. I like the attention to our comfort with bottle water, coffee maker, and kettle for tea in room as well as bathrobe and slippers that you will have with higher budget hotels. It also has an iron for your wrinkled clothes. The door to the little “balcony” in the room is modern and shelters much of the noise from outside. The European style breakfast was fantastic with hot scrambled eggs, slices of deli meat, and juices and hot beverages. There’s assortment of bread and rolls but the croissant was the best.

It would be nice to have hooks in the bathroom to hang the bathrobes. Unfortunately, one of the modern nightstand attached to backboard tilted down so things kept sliding off onto the floor. Obviously, someone put a lot of weight on it and damaged it.

Staffs are very nice and helpful. The location is close to all attractions in the downtown. Surrounding by all great restaurants. Everywhere is just a few steps away (< 1 min) and convenient. $5 breakfast per person provide all necessary food which is very convenient especially in rush to go to airport or join the tour in the morning. You can enjoy the night life and food till midnight. Easy to get a taxi with help from hotel staffs, few mins walk to subway and laundry service. Hotel is not luxury like 5+ start luxury,since it is a 3 stars hotel. But it provides all basic things that you need. Refrigerator in the room plus free bottles of water every day. Room service very day and the hotel is very clean and neat.

Its surrounding environment is like the downtown of the big cities. Bars and nightclubs around will make noises at night. Street tidiness will be similar to the small streets near Rome train stations or small streets of Chicago/NYC downtown. You may see bugs walking on the street and sometimes can smell something on the street. However, I was seeing most of the surrounding restaurants owners would clean their store front street area every morning between 8-9am before doing their business. Hotel owner will also make the hotel front street area clean too.

The continental breakfast was well organised, a good choice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was perfectly situated for our needs and easy to find with directions. Always a smile and a warm greeting when returning to the hotel from the staff at reception. We had a disturbance on the first night of our stay around 1am so went down to reception to report it and the guy on duty sorted the issue out straight away which we were very grateful for.

The only negative to report was the shower cubicle floor was slippy when wet and had a leak from around the white plastic strip.

A nice modern hotel in the Gothic quarter. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As the hotel is in the Gothic quarter it is not directly accessible by car/taxi, if you are lucky the taxi driver will drop you within a hundred feet of the entrance, otherwise you might get dropped on Las Ramblas and need to walk. Las Ramblas was a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The beaches were around a 20 minute walk. A very nice breakfast was provided.

The hotel is being renovated so there was some construction noise from just after 8am on weekdays. The room had double glazed windows, but being in the Gothic quarter there was a lot of partying in the nearby streets which could disturb some people.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect – right in the city center, just a short walk from the main La Rambla street. You really can’t ask for a better spot to explore the city. Breakfast was simple, but had everything you need to start the day. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room wasn’t fully operational yet after renovation, so it couldn’t be adjusted. Because of that, we had to sleep with the windows open, and there was a bit of street noise from Placa Reial, which is very close by. However, once we fell asleep, it really didn’t matter anymore.

the structure itself is excellent, excellent location you can walk at most 1 from the most distant attractions, all the attractions however are very close. the staff excellent and friendly especially the woman in the afternoon, but in itself everyone was simply nice and kind. the room small but being a room it fits in size, and equipped with everything you need, except a mini fridge even if empty, to ensure the customer can provide himself with drinks that he can put inside or even food. the sink leaks a little water as soon as you fill the sink, but nothing major, I had problems with the thermostat to regulate the air, as it was a little hot, but they told me that the structure was under construction for this reason here. excellent breakfast but little choice for savory. There is the possibility of leaving the suitcase as soon as you check out (which was at 12.00) a plus point compared to other accommodation facilities that do check out earlier. also available a small welcome drink in the hotel lobby. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of the city and have a great stay.

Extremely well located right off Le Ramblas

Not under Hotel Control as local rules on pedestrians zone where hotel is located doesn’t allow taxis’s to either drop off or pick up directly from Hotel. Need to walk just about 200 mtrs with luggage. That can be a problem with people with restricted mobility / old age issues with taking luggage to main road

The room size ( double luxury room) is fair ( for 2 people). The location is good if you want to be in the middle of night live, sightseeing, restaurants.. etc. The Reception staff is really helpful, polite and go above and beyond to meet the expectations.

The area is a bit rough at night, also noisy during the night, as the night club is right opposite. The breakfast could be better for Barcelona. However, the closed windows help a bit and we were quite tired every night, so had no problem sleeping. The bed was a bit hard.

Located in gothic quarter with lots of narrow alleys - bit nervous walking out in the evening but overall, good. Near to Las Ramblas if you wanted to stroll down there. We arrived late so only visited a local restaurant.

Nothing to complain about - a little expensive for a supposed 3 start - no tea/coffee making facilities so guess that was a negative.
