The hotel has secure access, reception and concierge. Our family room #403 was large, partially divided by a wall to separate area with second bed, small balcony facing the street, small fridge, ducted airconditioning. The location was great, in a quiet residential yet central part of the city and within 30 mins walking distance to multiple landmark attractions, shopping areas and Barceloneta Marina and Beach. There are multiple restaurants and food shops next to the hotel, including an adjacent cafe, which serves fabulous breakfast for the hotel residents from 7:30am, an excellent restaurant buzzing with locals for something more substantial (lunch and dinner), natural foods store and 2 average size food stores.

There is no tea/coffee facilities (no kettle or cups) or any cutlery/crockery (other than glasses). Spring mattresses and a single pillow per person. There is a terrace on the rooftop with few sun lounges but no bar, so pictures of this facility give wrong impression.

I absolutely loved this property! It was only a couple of blocks from the Plaza Catalunya which was a main meeting point and great shopping area. There was also a meeting point there for the Hop on Hop off Bus. There was also a laundromat across the road from the accommodation which was convenient for a long term traveller when I needed to do washing. Staff were lovely!

The location is amazing, close to all the main attractions. I walked to Casa Battló, La Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia. Even Park Guëll is a only a 38 minute £2.55 single ticket bus ride away. The hotel is modern and beautifully clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were charming and incredibly helpful.

If I could change one thing it would be breakfast. It is however a real steal at 12 Euros. Fruit, cereal, yogurt, croissants, brioche, juices, cold meats, and cheese, all help yourself as well as a hot dish made to order. However, there's no toast, and the quality of the scrambled eggs varies day by day! There is coffee and green tea but no English tea! However, this doesn't stop me giving the hotel a well deserved 10.

Excellent stay – perfect for families! We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was excellent, very convenient for getting around. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information that made our stay even better. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable — ideal for us and our children. The bathroom was also large, with a great storage area under the mirror, which was very practical. What I personally loved most was the small balcony with armchairs, where I could relax in the evening and unwind. Highly recommended, especially for families! -

Everything perfect 👌

For the price I paid for this hotel, compared to most others in the area, what you got was exceptional. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and had everything you needed, they were also cleaned daily and the location was excellent. I walked to most of the top sites from the hotel, but if you're not up for that, there is a main metro stop about 5 minutes walk away. I was very impressed with the hotel.

The only small point I would make is it would be nice to have bottled water for the room. That being said there was a small supermarket 2 minutes walk away so easy to pick up some yourself.

From arrival it was a lovely experience. The hotel was in an ideal location to get to all the sights and locations we aimed to explore. The rooms and main areas were clean and spacious as well as every staff member we encountered being helpful and friendly. We had a lovely balcony room which was a pleasant surprise.

The beds were very hard so found it hard to sleep when used go a medium soft bed at home as well as one flat pillow but when asked for additional pillows they were provided which did help so not really a bad experience but worth mentioning to others.

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Constanza – Room 503 is a Gem! I recently stayed at the 2-star Hotel Constanza in Barcelona, and I must say, it far exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist with anything I needed. I was fortunate enough to stay in Room 503, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting. This room is a true gem! It was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with modern furnishings and thoughtful amenities. The private balcony offered stunning views of the city, and it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Barcelona. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the bathroom featured a luxurious raindrop shower that added a touch of indulgence. Despite being a 2-star hotel, the service and quality felt like 4 or even 5 stars. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a comfortable, centrally located hotel in Barcelona that offers incredible value for money, Hotel Constanza is the place to stay. And if Room 503 is available—book it without hesitation! I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Barcelona. Rating: 5/5 Stars PS: Watch out for pickpockets in the city.

The rooms were not fancy but clean and comfortable. We loved our deck. Staff were always friendly and responsive to any requests.

The lighting in the room was not the best

Honestly blown away by this Hotel!! extremely clean and very well appointed!!! stayed for 2 nights for business, extremely helpful staff, and a great breakfast, will definitely be using again as in Barcelona alot!! how it's only a 2 star hotel is beyond me! And it's in a great location!

Nothing! was great

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! They gave us a room with an inner courtyard view which turned out to be great - there was no noise and we had a big terrace. The maid comes in every day and everything is spotless.
