The location of the hotel is really fortunate. Just a few minutes away from the square of Catalunya, but still very quiet. The room was small, but had everything that one needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The drink water can be refilled any time. There is always someone on the reception, which makes you feel safe. We had breakfast only once, but didn't like it.

The walls are really thin, you can hear your neighbors very well.

We loved the staff. They were very attentive and paid attention to little details. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job. Our room always looked so clean when we got in from a long day. Isa at the front desk was just a joy. Very welcoming. The hotel itself was very charming. We liked that they had filtered water that you could refill whenever you want. They had a choice of regular or sparkling.

It’s very hot in the common areas and our room was a little too warm for me. Our friends were staying on the first floor. They actually had to turn down their AC because it was too cold. We were a little jealous. But when I said something, they took care of it right away and had the air conditioner cleaned to try to help. That made it better. The room was also very small and cramped. If I was to do it over, I would probably ask for a larger room. There were some suites, but those were taken.

The absolute stars of the hotel are it's employees. Everyone is super friendly, maybe this was the best staff I saw so far on my travels, especially the young lady at the front desk - her smile is something that really lights up your day. Location is as central as it gets. Wifi is good. Air conditioning is good. Everything is clean. Cleaning is daily, and if you leave not to be disturbed - you will not be disturbed, yet you may still collect new towels if needed. They have elevator. Lobby is air conditioned. You can leave your stuff for safekeeping if you arrive early or if you want to tour the coty on the last day after checkout.

Only some small things - single room could have at least ultra small fridge, so that you can cool water or keep small food in fridge. Walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything happening in the room next door and in the hallway - that didn't bother me, but if you are light sleeper that might be a problem. Everything else was great.

Great location - 5 mins Metro, 7 mins Rambla, 10 mins old town … walk to Casa Mila and Casa Battlo. On line check process before arrival Friendly welcome Nice room - very clean - good shower and very good WiFi Lovely public areas - it’s a great building Really nice breakfast room with good hot and cold options Really good bar next door ( Bar Veni ) and others within yards but the the hotel was really quiet.

Our room faced an inner courtyard - which had a cover - also the windows glass was frosted despite good shutters and blinds - this meant the room was pretty dark and a bit airless. Aircon and lighting were fine but it always felt dark in the room because rid lack of natural light.

The inner city location was just right for us. The staff were very nice and helpful, especially to my wife with her walking difficulties. Even the workers doing the renovations were helpful and courteous.

Whilst the room facilities for a disabled person were adequate more thought into the layout of the room might make it better. The bed and the small table alongside it were too close to the wardrobe and the door would not open fully. A few more clothes hangers might good.

Our room, while quite small, was so cute and cozy. Everything was kept exceptionally clean, and whatever products they used to clean the room smelt soooooo good. Breakfast also had an amazing selection, and I loved how the hotel was decorated to honor its history. Great location as well.

There was one woman at the front desk that was a bit unpleasant to deal with, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just an off day. Breakfast was also quite expensive, and paying 1.50 euros for a coffee in the lobby seemed a but silly.

Nice location, and friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was nice. The bed was comfy. Overall a very positive experience.

The room was tiny—the photos were somewhat deceiving. Also, being on the fifth floor of a building with a single, tiny, slow-moving elevator meant a lot of walking up and down stairs unless you wanted to wait for a while. Needing to be buzzed in at the front door every single time at any hour of the day when the staff is literally right there looking at it seems a bit excessive.

This hotel is located near La Rambla, within walking distance of the Gothic quarter and Casa Batllo, Picasso Museum and the Palau de la Musica, as well as numerous restaurants and shops. A beautiful, grand hotel with an excellent breakfast. Our room had a small balcony so we could open the large doors and sit outside. The shower was hot and strong, there was a fridge in the room which is always welcomed, and you could purchase coffee in reception at all times.

Our room was over the reception area, facing the street that you walk in off. Some nights were very noisy particularly garbage collection night (in the early hours of the morning) as the 4 large bins were on the street outside the front of the hotel. However, it wasn't until we were leaving that we discovered the wooden shutters on the inside of the doors to the balcony, as they were hidden by the heavy curtains, so that may have made a big difference to the noise factor.

Hotel was in a brilliant location, and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Room was clean and airy, and communal seating areas were quiet and well kept.

Might just have been our room but the walls were very thin, so we could hear the person in the next room coughing or watching TV a LOT all night. Could also hear doors banging shut most mornings too - may have just been in our little section though and wasnt enough to worry us really. Room would benefit from a kettle or coffee pot!

The best thing about my stay at this hotel was the staff,who went out of their way to help us.They gave us restaurant recommendations,put an iron and kettle in our room when I asked,and were generally very helpful and friendly,especially Bastian and Isa.We felt safe walking in the area at night and had a really nice 3 days in Barcelona.

There wasnt really anything I didn’t like.
