This is 3 star hotel ...hot 4. Very small pool with cold water. Dont have a zone to smoke....people smoke in front of pool too. Pool hours 10 to 10. What minimizes the usages. Big guy (his name start with R) on reception very rude...don't hear clients st all...even didntcwsntvuo give receipt with declined transactions. He is not polite at all.

Like being in the location Hotel has many services good lobby area Bedroom spacious and good shower Coffee machine with coffee pods and tea bags Mini bar if you needed Helpful staff

No bath mat to avoid slipping especially as the shower gels and soap located at the end of the bath TV had lots of channels but unable to change the language 8am breakfast start at the weekend Bit of a drain smell on entry the lobby on some days

Hotel was only away 15 minutes by walk from Plaza Catalunya which made it great to get to the city center. Quite a variety of fresh food for breakfast:)

The room had twin beds moved together instead of a double bed which is what we requested. However we were offered a room with a double bed but we didn't take it as it was smaller than the one primarily allocated to us.

Good location with easy access to various bus routes and several restaurants. The reception team was very helpful and friendly and the cleaning staff kept the room nice and clean.

Old and broken fridge in the room that didn't keep the drinks cold and that had a bad smell.

Firstly, the location is excellent. Safe and posh neighbourhood. Handy enough for local transport or a long walk to most attractions. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. Gave us a map and marked the guidance and their recommendations for our trip. They allowed us to store the luggage post checkout, for an extended time period. The room was reasonably sized, so was the bathroom. The AC worked well at night, which is not something you see often in similarly priced hotels these days where they limit the temperature (in the name of energy saving) and it gets uncomfortable. So, that aspect of Sunotel is much appreciated. Also, there was reasonably good sound insulation between the rooms. Our room was topped up with coffee pods and tea bags daily.

The breakfast was meh. Very few options for vegetarians. The juices and fruit options were good. The yoghurt section wasn't topped up once it got finished. The room/bathroom interiors are a bit dated, but things work.

Reception desk service was excellent, very friendly. Room was maintained to a high standard.

Sound insulation between rooms was poor. This could be easily rectified, Cleaning in the next room in the morning would wake me occasionally.

All staff members were very friendly, especially Bruno at the front desk. The free hotel bikes were an absolute bonus, although they need some maintenance. The pool at the roof is also great to relax after a touristic day. Breakfast was really good with something for everyone's taste. Great bathroom shower.

As read in some other recs the walls are thin and a bit noisy (TV from the neighbours). But no problem if you bring ear plugs. The breakfast restaurant is a bit chilly (draft from open doors) and the door to the kitchen could be closed, so that you do not hear the beeping of the equipment (the staff did not turn it off for several minutes). The elevators are fairly slow.

Perfect location, very nice staff - Andrei gave us some tips about restaurants and they were all perfect. Even if I don’t care at all for breakfast, here you can enjoy everything you might wish: fresh fruits, coffee, juice, eggs, many kinds of ham & cheese, vegetables, fresh baked bread & pastries. We’ll be back at Sunotel Club Central whenever in Barcelona, that’s sure. See you next time, dear friends!

The view I’ve had, wich was in the back of the building, but this is nobody’s fault.🤗 It was very quiet, so this might be a “pro” for not viewing the street, which could be noisy.

Great location, friendly staff, facilities are a little dated. Both shower and hairdryer needed fixing. But service was friendly and fast

A clean, and comfortable room. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Lots of choice at breakfast; and food was tasty. Friendly and approachable staff who were always available if needed; but not intrusive so left you to enjoy the stay & your holiday. The hotels location is ideal for the city, with most things within comfortable wlakijgn distance; but far enough from the main tourist bustle to be quiet at night. The rooftop pool and sun deck are ideal placed to relax and a refuge from the city.

There was nothing about my stay that I did not like. Everything was as advertised. The staff were helpful and rooms cleaned everyday. So I have zero complaints.
