No waste paper bin in bedroom, the 3rd time I have had things binned off the dressing table, either gift box's and water bottles . Seriously please sort it out as then it is clear what is rubbish. The tiny bin in bathroom is not adequate. Also very clean on arrival but the floors are never swept or mopped, not nice after a few days. Also the sink is not cleaned. No do not enter please sign its annoying when the cleaner knocks or let's herself in

Very friendly and helpful staff and kept really clean. The bed was super comfy and the shower was powerful. A nice modern room with plenty of storage space. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and bedding provided. A little noisy at times but nothing major. The hostal is in an excellent location 200 metres from Arroyo de la miel train station and it's surrounded by tapas bars, restaurants, coffee shops and more. You really will be spoilt for choice.

Although this is a hostal, it's actually like an aparthotel and is priced accordingly. I'm not complaining of this, but with such a price, maybe the provision of a small fridge to the rooms would be a good addition, as we could not store milk for coffee making because it was super warm in the room. Overall though, this is a lovely place and i am only knocking 1 point off the score because of this small issue.

I've stayed here twice before. Small well run hotel in an excellent ;location. Close to the Arroyo railway station. Big improvements to the bar and reception area since my last visit. The hostel ,is situated in a pedestrianized street so absolutely no traffic noises. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. A simple Iberian breakfast is available. If you need an "English" breakfast then that is available in Arroyo. Nearby in Fountain Square there are several good bars, cafes and restaurants. It's real easy to get into Malaga using the train service if you buy a Malaga area transit card from the tobacconist next door. I loaded mine with 20 euros and after two weeks of traveling still had 8 euros left. This saves a lot of time at the stations. It's a longish walk down to Benalmadena on the coast and quite a hike back back because of the height differences. There are buses available from the railway station.

Nothing really as it was exactly what I required for my two week stay. Lighting in the room could be better for writing is my only quibble.

Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff , location is great. And value for money. Room is serviced daily if required by good staff. 24hr reception, where quite correctly, identity is politely checked before handing over keys when returning to the hotel.

Not a lot to dislike, I had booked an economy single room, but owing to a slight mix up I ended up with a 3 bedded room with a small balcony overlooking outside of the hotel. No facilities in room for self-catering, I asked for a kettle and was provided with one, so had my tea and coffee. Breakfast ( Continental ) is provided in bar/cafe area.

The location was perfect, right on the main street, 3 mins from the train station. The hotel has been newly renovated and the lobby/bar/restaurant area was lovely - super comfy little sofa and chairs. Great fresh coffee served at breakfast (inlcuding decaf) and flexible options. They kindly allowed me to have my almond milk for the coffee and toasted my gluten free bread for breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They lent me a brand new hair dryer and knife for lemon. The bed was super comfy, pillow memory foam and amazing, the air con silent and new, the fan a great addition. The shower was excellent and the room had all you needed! Would well recommend this newly renovated hotel - great value for money, comfy nights sleep, and a lovely sanctuary to come back to between your trips out, with the friendliest of staff!

The hollow centre of the hotel carries and amplifies sounds, so you hear every time someone opens or closes their room door and the key/locks are loud. This is the only downside and can be a disturbance to light sleepers.

Great value for money, location is perfect, and since their refurbishment the place looks great. I love staying here. The staff are lovely. And It's always very clean.

Unfortunately because of the layout of the building the noise echos through the middle of the building so you can hear everything, especially if you are in a solo room. It doesnt bother me much but it can disturb your sleep.

Very good localization in the center of Benalmadena 5 minutes away from the train station, very clean hostel, nice and helpful staff, perfect for single travellers, very good value for money.

Breakfasts could be better and more diversified, though I understand the hostel's policy of not providing warm breakfasts. Still, some fruit and vegetables for example could help a lot.

Second time I have stayed here. The location is perfect, around 250 yards from the Arroyo train station which I used many times to get to Malaga amd some days to connect to the long distance fast trains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped me with my Spanish and of course they spoke fluent English too. Great little bar and well stocked.

Really liked it here, overall pleasant staff. Rooms were basic but really clean and comfortable, fresh towels every day. Location wise, only a few minutes from the train station but a good 20 minutes walk to the beach. However, there is a bus stop by the station that goes to the front. Stayed here for a week and was really good. Would come back here for sure.

Nothing much, it was more or less what I was expecting from other reviews.

Location to train station..sea front..bars and eateries everything was on the doorstep .. Balcony was nice .just sit and watch the world go by. Staff were Friendly !!

Walls are thin..Shower was powerful but had to hold it because the attachment was loose which the shower head hung on..
