Hotel is very well positioned in the city which facilitate your trips around Ciutadella (lots of nice restaurants and bar nearby). The room was very good (bedding and bathroom were excellent). Nice terrasse in the main building where you can take your breakfast where the staff felt a bit hesitating / junior in some occasion.

The Hotel is split in three different buildings. We were sleeping in the one placed the furthest from the main building (where the restaurant and bar is). This sometime made us think that we were rather in a luxurious Airbnb than an Hotel as we had limited opportunities to interact with the personnel. Not a deal breaker, but certainly something to consider when booking for the ones who like chatting with the concierge and staff.

Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in so far. Classy, elegant, stylish, every corner is a picture for the magazine. Concierge Ignacio helped me every day with the activities which met exactly my needs, therefore every day was a pure joy! I also really appreciate Luca with the attention and my best time in the country club, which is also a gem for those who want to get away from from the town (I tried kayaking and that was superb). And I liked a lot that Maite the GM approached all guests every morning during the breakfast to ask for their feedback. I have never seen this before and I wish all GMs did that, as this is the only way to really know your guest and learn how to improve.

I would maybe recommend to improve breakfast dishes from the morning breakfast menu, they are kind of very average, like without any thought. I mean they are ok, but I know that scrambled eggs might be much more delicious. They are fine but made without any idea. This was my feeling.

I never write reviews but I felt I had to for this as the staff really were exceptional! The palace was beautiful with five pools in total varying in size. I would recommend having a massage I had the hot stone and it was one of my best massages make sure you like firm pressure though. Book the cave spa at the hotel you can use this as guests for up to an hour a day if it’s hot you will want to be there! Location was amazing literally you are in the town so if you want the local nightlife it’s on your doorstep. The town is Lovely and clean lots going on and of course there’s the port where you can easily book a boat for a day trip. We will be back! Excellent all round and I haven’t even mentioned the food…. What a lovely surprise that was so good we had dinner at the hotel three of the five nights we were there!

The property is ideally located in the center of Ciutadella, with a convenient free parking in proximity to use our car daily around the island. The staff is incredible, with a top notch concierge service. They have a place as well 15 minutes north of the city, with pool, beach access and a chef where we ate a great Paella with fresh farm to table food, Relaxing time outside the city all part of the hotel properties ! Luca was very attentive and kind to give us a great experience.

Phenomenal stay in ca'l Bisbe. The room was impressive and well appointed. It was nice having the private courtyard area with views of the Cathedral. The Turkish bath was excellent and the underground pool and steam room made it special. The stay was a surprise for my girlfriend and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They also organised flowers and a complementary bottle of cava as an engagement gift. The service was exceptional and the manager came around to speak to each guest at breakfast and even apologised for the rain!

staff were helpful and attentive without being over bearing. Amazing language skills. GM very helpful. As a repeat customer happy to see it not only maintaining its high standards but improving even further. Great Spa.

While it was great that there was a gluten free roll available for Gluten intolerant / allergic people it makes them the poor relative compared to the tremendous offering otherwise available. It would be nice to see an improved GF offering at breakfast. Using tamari instead of soy sauce would also help at dinner.

Stunning hotel, beautiful restaurant courtyard for breakfast, extremely comfortable beds, rooms spacious, stylish and very quiet. Central location and magazine worthy pool areas. Staff great and very friendly.

While the reception, housekeeping and wait staff were fantastic, service at the pool was areas non-existent, by the end of the day the pool areas were messy with towels left out and drinks and food left uncleared for most of the afternoon. No staff available to order drinks when we were at the pool. No staff at the spa area either so when we went to our booking slot we had to find our own way.

Beautiful historic hotel with elegant interiors and a contemporary twist. We had a large room with a view of the pool. Very comfortable bed, huge en-suite wet room with fluffy robes and luxurious toiletries . We enjoyed an hour of pampering in the unforgettable spa, set in an underground grotto, followed by a superb dinner. We left less than 24 hours later feeling wonderfully restored. Thanks to Maite and the team for a fabulous stay. We will return!

The hotel is absolutely stunning with the most beautiful interiors. A hidden gem as it is in the centre of the city, it really has it all. Not only was there two outdoor pools, 2 spas, beautiful gardens for breakfast and dinner, libraries, hidden corners… this was really an experience I didn’t expect! Made better by the really attentive team, who also provided us with a wedding champagne which was a lovely touch!! Couldn’t recommend enough and can’t wait to be back.

Amazing building. Dinner at the restaurant is worth it. Day at the country house was superb. Friendly staff.

We were given the choice between two disabled rooms which was not what we wanted/paid for. At over 500e, it’s not very nice to have to wet the whole bathroom when taking a shower and having a wet toilet. The hotel should sell these rooms separately so that customers can make a conscious choice. The hotel made no commercial gesture to compensate the inconvenience. Also, it seems that the entry price rooms are relatively small, so I would recommend paying a bit more for extra comfort. The breakfast and lunch menu are limited/slightly disappointing for a hotel of this calibre. Pool can be packed during the summer - not great when you’re paying such amounts and can’t find a lounger!
