Breakfast was plentiful with good selection of choices - however,as English people, the hotel version of "toast" was more like dry stale bread (than grilled fresh bread) and the tea bags supplied produced a tea that was too weak.

Apart from the minor quibble of lack of fresh bread/toast, the absence of a heated swimming pool in basement was a bit disappointing. But these were minor points: the hotel was very comfortable, accommodating, and stylish.

The entire experience was beyond exceptional - from the stunning design to the outstanding service, the spacious room, the attentive staff and concierge, and the prime location.

It is a superb place with great facilities, located in the heart of Madrid, short walk to all attractions (Royal Palace, Retiro, Prado Museum, Gran Via and Salamanca district) and Atocha railway station. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved our room which was beautifully designed, having all you need, the bed amentities were chic and the bathroom like in a real palace with premium liquids etc. The a/c in the room was very quite. We really loved this hotel.

Nothing was bas at all. Maybe breakfast a la carte comes a bit pricy so it's worth opting for the breakfast included when you check-in, then you get a discount. I also suggested to add a rail towels hanger to the spacious bathroom to let towels dry quicker and not having to change them.

Whilst located in the center of the bustling tourist area, this hotel was peaceful and quiet. We were able to access all major attractions by foot, which we feel is the best way to explore the city.

Our room (suite- room 24) was genuinely perfect: silent/ comfortable bed/ efficient AC, but if there was anything I needed to critique (and it was a struggle to think of anything) it would be the limited amount of daylight in the suite (physically impossible to create more) and the shower water temperature fluctuating between hot/cold whilst in use. These criticisms are so minor though, I really had to think hard about what to write in this section….

The hotel gave an amazing feeling. The vide was very relaxing and pampering, the facilities were everything we could wish for. The staff even brought colouring book , colours and the Teddy bear for our kid, and set up a tipi for her. The best thing was B&O speaker, adding to the overall comfort. We loved everything! A special note about the breakfast: it's served in the patio, and is overall very good for 25 euro pp. You can order any number of plates you want (that includes fruits, jamon, baked goods, yogurt and eggs). We found it it tasty and satisfying. The area around was very safe, and it was a 5-10 min walking to almost everything

An excellent hotel with a perfect location, just a short walk from all the main attractions. Its style and design are surprisingly for a hotel in the city center – a blend of aesthetics, uniqueness, and comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a positive feel. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Breakfast is good and well-balanced – not excessive, yet fully satisfying. Without a doubt, this is a hotel you’ll be happy to return to again and again.

We had a wonderful stay at CoolRooms Atocha. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable after a long day of exploring Madrid. The location is ideal — just a short walk to Puerta del Sol and many of the city’s main attractions. Special thanks to Chris at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His warm welcome and thoughtful recommendations made us feel truly at home. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!

Stayed in a suite and the size of the room far exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was super generously sized, especially the shower - it had 2 shower heads with the best pressure I’ve ever had. Was hard to get out! The sitting area was nice and included a couch and mini bar. The bedroom was also great, the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located and we ended up walking everywhere. Would highly recommend Mercado Del San Miguel - it was amazing!! The staff were especially helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. The pool area was a great place to come back at the end of the night and relax. Would stay again!

Hard to identify anything we “didn’t” like. I will say, the 2nd night we were there, they did not come to clean the room until 5pm. We notified the front desk that we’d like them to come earlier and it was handled from then on!

My daughter and I spent a week in Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid) and this was our favorite hotel. It is beautiful!!!! The staff were so helpful - they gave us a map of the city and pointed out sites of interest, they provided water and delicious sweets at check-in, a handwritten note and chocolates in the room, and we even scored a free upgrade. The location was wonderful - easy to walk to most of the sites but also a bit quieter of an area than the typical tourist spots. I love that they provided not only a hair dryer but a top of the line flat iron! We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!!!!!!!!!

It was perfect!!!

The location was very good. Just next to central. Atocha is a very cool neighbourhood with lots of eateries. Open through Easter. The bed was supremely comfortable and we loved the high ceiling and great air conditioning.

The bathroom was rather cold during this cool spring. Would appreciate a second luggage rack ( but this applies everywhere). A towel heater rack would be nice.
