Great location. Kitchenette in the room is always a plus. Very nice receptionist. High ceilings and generally a beautiful building.

Absolutely no sound isolation. We could hear neighbours brush their hair in their bathroom. The cleanliness of the kitchenette could be better. The kitchen towels looked used

Good communication online prior to arrival. When we arrived late - we were met at reception and taken through the use of keys. Location was amazing, very central and meant we could walk everywhere easily though it is very close to a Metro station and bus stops. Room was large and spacious, lovely shower room. Anything needed we only had to ask. No intrusion from staff and extremely quiet given central location.

Loved stay but to be noted the kitchen was sufficient but lacked surface area for cooking. Seating was limited to lounge could have done with a chair in bedroom area. Lighting in lounge area was dark for reading .

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Matute 11. The location couldn't be any better, right in the heart of everything, restaurants, bars, local shops, entertainments and train station. It's so conveniently located in the city center area that we feel everything is around the corner. Yet it is on quite street that we always have good night sleep. The building is full of Spanish history and cultural charms. Our apartment is very clean and roomy, comfortable for my family of 5. Kitchen is fully functional and well-equipped. Daniel is great host, very welcoming and helpful.

We loved our stay! The apartment is perfectly situated: 15 min by walk from Plaza Mayor and Gran Via, 10 min from Prado Museum, the metro station Anton Martin is 4 min by walk. The area is very nice and animated with multiple bars and restaurants, calm in the night. The apartment itself is nicely decorated, there is everything you need (kitchenware, towels, etc...), the bed is comfortable. The staff at the reception was welcoming and helpful.

Everything was great! Maybe can suggest to replace the hairdryer which is fixed on the wall and sometimes it's hard to use it.

Fantastic location in the heart of the bustle of Madrid, we were walking distance to a lot of cafes and restaurants. The property is well maintained and everything met our expectations. The air-con is controlled by the management, so you don't get a remote in the room (if you want to turn it off/on). Check-in was super easy with reception on site. Loved staying here!

If you stay on the weekend bring earplugs, there are some night clubs near by and it's quite noisy between 4-6am when people are leaving the clubs. But it wasn't too much of an issue for us as we woke up early for a flight.

Excellent location on the best part of the city, on a nice street; very pleasant and responsive host team; excellent water pressure in the shower, super quiet unit facing the interior court, beautiful old staircase decorated with artwork and old furniture. Felt safe in a super convenient and clean location. Much recommended.

The lighting in the room could be improved, including updating of the lights above bed. The kitchen sink spout should be repositioned in order to avoid spilling water on the countertop. These are minor items, our stay was totally positive.

The location was perfect and the hosts were very accommodating. There was a lovely lady at the front desk who was extremely helpful and provided recommendations of places to visit in the local area. The bedroom was clean, the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast on the balcony. Recommend this place for a short city break.

Our bathroom was looking a little tired, there was no toilet roll holder and the fittings were rusted. Occasionally we didn't have any hot water and the sponge in kitchen was damp and dirty before our stay.

Location of the property was fantastic. The building has been beautifully restored and we loved the high ceilings and spaciousness of the apartment. The apartment is within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and the choice of restaurants, tapas bars, icecream shops etc is overwhelming.

We would have appreciated tourist information/brochures on the Madrid transport network and a tourist map of Madrid in either the reception or the apartment.

fairly good location, just in the centro of Madrid, we used to take a walk for almost every attraction-amusement, the building is beautiful with a classic vintage taste of old Madrid, it is renovated with respect to it's history and in a high architectural view, the room was perfectly heated, we visited Madrid in the heart of winter season and that really helped a lot,

the view was nothing special, two windows looking the opposite building's windows in a realy close distance (affects the privacy), that also affected the natural lighting of the room, room was also lacking some basic amenities ex. water boiler, the sleeping pillows not in the typical form, took us a while to get used to them,

The window room was next to the street without any kind of isolation, I couldn’t sleep well during the whole week it was very loud outside. The girl from the staff offered another option but the room was smaller than mine. The furniture inside the room is not so nice and some things are not well maintained. You have to take out the trash by yourself.
